I was very happy with El Sobrante Sewer Repair. After having to call in a roto-rooter service 3 times in the last 2 years (at great expense), it was finally time to solve the issue. I got estimates from 4 companies. The first company came over, did not even use a camera, and told me yes, I needed a new sewer lateral. They gave me a good price, but I was unsettled that they did not even check out the pipes with a camera.

Scott from El Sobrante Sewer was the second guy to come out. He did a complete camera inspection (at no charge), and actually gave me a couple options for the repair; but he did note that doing the complete sewer lateral with the Berkeley certification would save me money in the long run, because the City requires the certification now with any home sale. He also noticed something that no other plumber had noticed before; there was an abandoned sewer pipe from a previous part of the house, where dirt was coming into the line. He also explained to me that because my sewer line was so close to my neighbor's, his crew would have to hand dig in that area in order to avoid any damage to the neighbor's line. Scott's bid was almost the same as the first company.

I had 2 other companies make bids; their bids were around 50% higher than El Sobrante Sewer. In addition, the last 2 companies wanted to charge hundreds of dollars more to avoid damage to my neighbor's sewer; and in addition, they would not even accept liability IF they damaged it.

I chose El Sobrante Sewer because they gave me both a low price, an exceptional analysis of my situation, different options to fix it; and in the end, when they did come to do the work, the workers were very courteous and did a very good job. I ended up having the complete sewer lateral replacement so I could get the Berkeley certification, which is good for 20 years. Plus, they did discover the ""root"" of my problem - literally! There was a 2 foot root in my pre-existing pipe!

All in all, I heartily recommend El Sobrante Sewer Repair!

El sobrante sewer repair.. is a awesome business and very professional... I had the pleasure dealing with Scott and his professionalism... I have bought different properties in Sacramento and San Francisco... but this time I bought a property in Crockett ca in Costa county... the property required a sewer lateral clearance which is something I haven't dealt with in past... Scott came out and explained the situation and was detailed and honest... took care all paperwork and permits.. also with the current COVID-19... him and his crew also wear mask and very professional... property owner didn't need to even be at property when work was done... all I have to stay is that they are Awesome!!! Will always use them in the future!!
