Fantastic service from start to finish! We needed our sewer lateral replaced after 60+ years and El Sobrante Sewer Repair was recommended to us. They were quick to come out and video scope our sewer (and send that to us) and give us a quote for the job which was very reasonable. Based on this, and the fact that they were SO responsive initially, we only sought out one more bid on the job. Hands down we went with El Sobrante. The arrived on time, had tons of equipment to do the job. All the guys were very personable and knew what they were doing, you could tell they had done many of these sewer replacements. It was and enjoyable experience to work with them at the house as well as work with their office people who are fantastic. Joe the owner was fun to chat with during the project.

The house next door to mine has sold, and El Sobrante Sewer had come out to do a video of their main drain. A couple of days went by, and they came out and put up safety cones and set up in front of that house. Wow! They cut a hole in the street and replaced all the old terra cotta pipe with brand new PVC. I've had slow drains from time to time, so when I had a chance I started to talk to Joe and he explained the process. They completed the job that same day, and afterwards Daniel Torres rang my bell and offered me his card and let me know that Pinole, where I live, was changing the rules regarding street work. and it would start costing more to do that job. I checked with the city of Pinole and the scope of work required by my town is indeed changing. Daniel offered to video my drain at no charge so my wife and I could decide whether to do the job or not. El Sobrante Sewer could not be nicer or more professional. We bought a house recently and this was the company quoted in the disclosure packet for sewer repair/sewer compliance. We initially got a few others quotes but weren't impressed by the numbers, the dudes or the process.

As a contrast point these guys were not only the lowest bid but, they were friendly and organized in their process. They have a web portal - the bid went in, the job got scheduled, the job got done, the job was easily payable via the website.

Owner was also nice and returned to make sure the guys finished their job including fashioning a replacement grate for our driveway when the existing one went missing. They also managed to get the job done when we were out of the house as our kiddo decided to be born when we had scheduled sewer repair. A+ service all around.

Great company for home sellers trying to figure out compliance with Alameda or Contra Costa PSL ordinances. They have replaced laterals for me at reasonable rates and are the easiest to schedule inspections with.
