Service was fine. But found out they charge you LABOR from the time they leave the office until they return to the office plus a $30 truck charge. They charged me 0.5 hr LABOR for drive time or $56.50 plus the truck charge of $30 for a total of $86.50 on top of the charges for the job they did. BE AWARE!!

My 14 year old water heater finally died and I picked a new one up from Menards but did not know how to install it. El-Jay was friendly, clean, fast and very affordable. They got my new water heater installed in about an hour and charged me a third of what their competitors quoted me at. El-Jay will be getting all of my plumbing business from now on! We woke up this a.m. to no hot water. The heater had crapped out over night and drained water all over the floor. Did a google search and found El-Jay Plumbing had 24 hr tech service. Called and asked about having someone come out. Repair guy came out samr day that afternoon and replaced the water heater. The guy was very tall (felt bad for him hunched over in our cellar basement), but he was super friendly and had the water heater replaced in two hours. Would definitely recommend these folks!

We couldn't be more pleased with El-Jay Plumbing & Heating. Recently our furnace had been ""condemned"" by another company. Before spending a major amount of money on a new furnace, we called El-Jay's for a second opinion. Ryan came out, diagnosed the problem, fixed it, then thoroughly cleaned our furnace, even climbing inside to make sure the job was complete. His explanations were clear and his advice was honest.
