Angelo is absolutely great! He spent a ton of time diagnosing a problem that another plumber couldn't resolve, was super-responsive, and came out quickly and stayed until he was sure everything was working right. He was recommended to us by friends who said that he was terrific -- skilled and trustworthy. And they were totally right. Highly, highly recommend EKG and Angelo.

Another plumber made four unsuccessful visits to our house to repair a hot water heating system for our relatively new radiators which the plumber's company had installed. I contacted Angelo on Sunday afternoon, Monday morning he showed up, and, like a engineering professor, walked me through the numerous errors made in the instillation of the system; a couple hours later, they were all corrected. Lesson learned (so pay attention): I should have called Angelo in the first place, he always gets it right.

I found Angelo on Yelp by luck. The first guy I called said they could come out in a few days. I called Angelo next, and he said he could be there in a few hours. Not only did he fix a problem that many plumbers had tried and couldn't, he found other issues of rotting pipes and fixed those problems before it was a disaster. He is the best plumber in Brooklyn, hands down. I feel lucky to have found him.

Angelo is now fixing another problem that another plumber cut corners on. He knew the issue right away before even taking out the floor. And you know what, he was right! I have explained issues over the phone to Angelo, and he knew what the issue was and how to fix it. Over the phone!!

Angelo is the man for the job, hands down. It is better to go with him (who is fairly priced) than the cheaper option because eventually you will be calling him back to come and fix the problem. He is great to work with. He comes with the highest recommendations.

EKG Plumbing and Angelo the owner is one of the best plumbing contractors I have dealt with during my recent renovation. As other reviewers have previously stated, Angelo and team from start to finish were honest, straight forward, knowledgeable, resourceful and all tasks were completed to a very high quality. I had some unique requirements and Angelo came up with some brilliant workable solutions. As most people understand, it is always a process when dealing with contractors. So, it's really refreshing to deal with someone who is no-nonsense, straightforward and personable. I have no hesitation to recommend EKG Plumbing for any plumbing work.

How many times do you call a tradesmen and have them give you the run around OR not feel comfortable with the explanation they give? Well EKG is GREAT, they are communicative and know the business as well as NYC regulations. They fixed quickly identified our plumbing was not up to code and correct the blockage and gave us a few options to resolve it long-term and short-term. Reasonable prices and nice guys make them our go to business. Highly recommend them.

Very disappointing!!!! Angelo is very nice, worked quickly but doesn't stand by his work. He's been to my apartment twice, charged $250 to silicone/caulk around the shower knobs and then replaced them and guess what, still leaking. His response, it could be anything and isn't my work. Won't be using him again and have told the super!

Update: Angelo responded back that he would come check the leak and if it wasn't what he already replaced that he would charge for the additional repairs. He further indicated that he only replaced the hot and cold spindles and not the center one, which is now the problem.... seems odd that the middle one wasn't replaced at the same time and is now leaking but who knows....

Angel is without doubt the best, most professional and effective Plumber I have ever worked with. I called him to help me take care of a permit issue (my plumber passed away, permit was still open). Where other plumber either hung up immediately or asked for big money without guarantees, Angel talked me through my options and agreed to come check it out. He immediately made a proposal ad gave me a time estimate, and for the next couple of weeks communicated daily and worked effectively to get my issues resolved. At one point there was a mixup with a small fee due to an expeditor. The origin of the issue wasn't clear but Angel freely paid it himself without any drama. When the permit was resolved Angel didn't hesitate to look into a couple minor issues that another plumber had struggled with in my bathroom and fixed them at no extra charge.

I can't recommend Angel highly enough. If you have Plumbing needs and want to deal with an honest and skilled company, EKG are your guys.

My 15+ year old boiler was leaking. I called this place and Angelo arrived fairly quickly to access the issue. My boiler needed to be replace and he had boilers ready at his store. He removed and took away the old boiler and installed a new one. Everything was done within 3 hrs from the time I called him. It was an expensive service but I suppose it was worth it for his promptness and reliability.

Throughout the course of our project, he made himself available countless times, either in person or over the phone, and was always happy to dive deeper into the specifics and shed more light on his diagnoses of the problems being faced.

Angelo and the whole EKG staff take immense pride in their work, and it really shows. It's important to Angelo that his clients understand their problems and the reasoning behind his solutions. We are incredibly happy with the work that Angelo did on our building and I would not hesitate to recommend EKG for assurance that a job will be done expediently, with attention to detail, and by the book. We will certainly be using them in the future if any new issues arise.
