They are certainly responsive and willing to help, unfortunately the cost and lack of detail around what they were charging me for was unacceptable. No idea on labor rate, or actual materials used and not interested in providing on the invoice. I feel a little like we were exploited as we needed help in a high demand season. Not great. Not sure it's better anywhere else.

Horrible. If I could give them less than one star I would. They were contracted by our home warranty company to come service an appliance. Set up a window, called at the end of window and said the plumber ""was held up at another job."" We were the earliest window. Rescheduled. An hour in, I called the company to see why we hadn't heard anything. Called many times, no answer. Left a message. 15 minutes before end of window, got a call asking if he could come at 7. No. ""well it's just a really long way for me to drive."" Called our home warranty company and got a different company. I would NEVER use this company. Horrible customer service.

I called Einstein to get a bid. Sean came an hour early when I wasn't ready for him, told me the price and wanted to schedule right away. I told him I wanted to see a written bid first. The office called and said they wanted to do the job the next day--for some reason, I agreed. They again came two hours early before I was ready for them. Some of the work we agreed upon was not done, other work was done without my knowledge or authorization. Sean wrote up the bid standing at my kitchen sink after the job was finished.
The work seems satisfactory, but I need to call someone else to do the work they promised but did not do. I will not hire them again. If you consider using this company, GET A WRITTEN BID FIRST.

Our heating and cooling system in our home was on its last legs so we called around and decided to have Einstein Pros handle the installation of new equipment. The quote was done quickly and professionally. Although it took time for the equipment to be delivered (supply chain issues, not Einstein's fault), the installation was done promptly once it was available. I was particularly impressed with their customer service to address a couple of issues we had with the old system and the gas fireplace while waiting for the new equipment to arrive. Einstein had people over a few times to address these small issues and didn't charge us for the service call. All in all, top-notch work. We will work with them in the future.

Dumb-stein - We have been loyal to Einstein plumbing for four years and have had them out many times. I shrugged off when circulating hot water correctly took about five trips and multiple contractors and when we noticed an infrequent banging noise from our water heater, we asked them to take a look. Upon inspection and recreating the noise, they said it was sediment at the bottom of the tank and it needed to be cleaned. After it was cleaned, we did not have hot water and it took them over 24 hours to come fix their silly mistake and the banging noise persisted. After $400 spent, I had the same problem and was told that my water heater was warped and should be replaced soon because it is ready to fail. We decided to get another opinion and found a water valve was opening and shutting based upon pressure and gravity. The problem was fixed with a spring valve replacement that cost $69 total. Dumbstein cannot be true unfortunately, we have worked with too many of them. They are very nice people but unfortunately not good plumbers.

I had Tony out for an examination of a potential leak from my shower drain. He did locate a small leave due to the old design of the shower or altered drain spout. He reccomend a full remodeling to properly fix the problem. I spent 4 weeks with a home warranty company fighting them to cover the repair. Tony did not have to be so helpful but through the whole 4 weeks we communicated very well and did everything possible to get the horrible home warranty to cover the repairs. Unfortunately just like all home warranty companies they refused. I ended up having to file a home insurance claim and boom things got rolling and within a couple weeks he got paid and did the full replacement of my shower. The awesome home decorator that he is picked out an awesome looking shower that is so more functional. I am very happy and so reccomend Einstein pros for plumbing. The office people are friendly and very responsive to your needs as well. Tony is a very hard worker and very good at his trade. Thank you for the hard work and being there for my needs when I know other companies would have not been so helpful.

I was quoted no more than $500. To reinstall my faucet, disposal and hot water tap! Ok sounds good but once the guy came to do the job he spent an hour writing up the price of the job, well I've already been quoted $500 to do this job and he said oh no it's going to be over $1300 to do this job! I'm like are you kidding me? Not acceptable so the guy called the owner got the price down to $500. Because that's is what I was quoted, and so I had the go forward with the job. Just 3 fixtures to do! Then the next we saw that the disposal wasn't hooked up right and there was an old broken pipe which were both leaking! Which my husband had to go to get new parts! Very disappointed with they way they bid out the job and find out differently later and how they charge for parts extremely expensive that you can buy at Home Depot for pennies! I will NEVER recommend them . I strongly advise to get your verbal quotes in writing!

Jan 26 - Had an appointment to get a new water heater installed. They canceled saying someone was sick. Jan 28 - Had an appointment again. They called saying that they got the wrong water heater sent to them. So, what they said before was a lie. They didn't even have it in yet. Jan 26 was strike 1. Jan 28 was strike 2. They finally came Feb 8 but pushed the time back. 2 men showed up at 2:46pm to do the job. They took out the old water heater and then moved the gas line so they could install the new one. It took 2 1/2 hrs. Jake & Denny had a difficult job but did it. The area around the water heater was left messy and there was also a mess of white leading out of the garage. We had to give them a credit card before anything was done so they could order the water heater. We were charged for the full price before anything was done and that credit card was paid in full the day before they did the work. We were asked for payment after the water heater was installed! Luckily, my husband had just come home from work and told them that he paid in full! Jake said the office was closed so he'd have to check that the next morning! Not sure if we'd use them again or not. We didn't feel like appreciated customers. Total: $2000

Do not use this company, especially for HVAC. They installed two Hvac systems in our home and both were done wrong and ended up causing damage to the systems. They have cost us hundreds of dollars in repairs and the owner won't respond to my phone calls or take responsibility. They wired one system wrong causing the dampers to fail. When I called them back after we discovered the problem they claimed other HVAC companies were just trying to badmouth them. I literally watched the technician remove the wires that were in the wrong place as he described to me what had happened. The reason other companies had to come fix Einstein's mistakes is because when I call Einstein their HVAC guy is ""out of the office for 6 weeks"" and they refer me to someone else. This has happened more than once. Very disappointed with this company and the owner who doesn't care about making things right.

To say that I am irritated is an understatement. We have had Einstein come out to our house for several different reasons, working with an HVAC system that is only a couple of years old. I've always felt that I was being ""sold to"" rather than ""repaired."" But, based on high reviews, I went with their technicians recommendations. Fast forward 2 years, and we are out several thousands of dollars and haven't had consistent heat for weeks. I'm having to replace the whole unit and scrap the junk I already paid for. I am furious and would never use this group again. I wish there had been some honesty upfront, or even an, ""I don't know the best way to fix the problem"" rather than trying to sell me bandaid fixes that didn't really work anyway. I'd like my money back, but that won't happen!
