We needed a new water heater. Einstein quoted the lowest price for the type/brand that I wanted. That was two years ago, and the water heater is still going strong.

First, I called Einstein after we had issues with our water pressure, the tech came out and pointed out the valve had been partially closed and insisted to not charge us. With that kind of honesty I called them back out to plumb our bathroom addition, these guys went above and beyond for us! Professional, fair and fast; Thank you Allen, you rock!

Had them come out to fix a leak in my moms kitchen sink was quoted $1274. For new pipe back to the sewer main. We agreed to the price before I had them come out I took pictures under the house we're it was leaking and at the main sewer line. Because we saw a News episode where plumbers were drilling a hole in the main so they can get more work. The Einstein plumber informed us the sewer main had a leak in it right in the same area I had a picture there wasn't a leak before he started working it was like someone drilled a hole in the main Pretty weird coincidence.

Update: Operations manager called me to clarify that a third party handles their emergency calls. I am updating to 2 stars because although I was disappointed in the response and the attitude of the office staff I talked to, I understand the issue. I cannot recommend them for emergency services based on my experience however and my experience is 100% factual and accurate as stated below. If you are going to offer emergency services, you need a better way of informing people of your service area than ""oh it's on our website"" (a tiny map buried in the bottom right hand corner after you click through 3 different pages). When there is poop overflowing onto your floor, you call the first person you can get ahold of and expect them to have the answers and help get it fixed, not give you the run around for 12 hours then tell you it's your fault their emergency services are terrible.

Original review: I work in the service business as a dispatcher for a company that works directly with plumbers 90% of the time so I know it's difficult to keep schedules straight. When you are offering emergency services however, it's an entirely different kettle of fish. Last night I called at 7:00 PM because my mainline sewer was clogged. I asked specifically if they service my area and my address because it's a little bit outside of a normal service area. I was told yes and that someone would be out. 2 hours later I called for an updated ETA to which they said, ""there's a couple people ahead of you but we should be out soon."" By 3:00 AM I decided that it wasn't worth staying up to wait so I went to bed and waited for the call. I woke up at 7:00 and called them immediately since that's when their office opens. They apologized profusely and then said they would get back to me in less than an hour... well one hour and 15 minutes later, they called me to say, ""sorry we don't service your area"" and hung up promptly.

I called this guys to have someone come out to check and fix a water heater. The pilot would not stay ""on"". When the guy arrived he called me and said that the pilot would not stay ""on"" which I already new what the problem was!!! His fix was "" I can have a new water heater installed for $1400.00 dollars. My water heater is 5 years old, I thought it was odd that it would only last 5 years. The guy was more interested in selling me a new water heater. I told him no thanks and called his office and pretty much paid $67.00 to have a guy go to my house to try to sell me on a 1400.00 dollar water heater. Within the hour I had another guy from Smooth Systems Refrigeration come out to look at it. Within 10 minutes of getting there he called me and said it's running and everything is working with no problems. Charged me $ 60.00 dollars. It just shows who is out there to take your money. I would not recommend Einstein Plumbing to anyone unless you want to give money away!!!!
