At one point, our union plumbing business employed 50+ workers, specializing in commercial plumbing for schools and apartment buildings. The 1960s saw Edward H. Miller streamline the business to a two-person crew: himself and a seasoned helper. Since taking over, Jim has kept the crew between three and five plumbers and trainees.
