We had an on-going service contract with Efficient Systems. they had been able to keep our old unit running for as long as possible and unfortunately, it just was too old and falling apart.
The tech took a look at the whole system and showed us a couple of options for replacement, and we went forward with the deluxe train unit. They made financing easy. they covered all the details of not only the loan but the install process. The team showed up early on a Wednesday and got right to it. And the whole job including new ducts and ceiling vents and boxes new digital thermostat. The guys cleaned up when they were done both days.
They did some value-added things at no extra charge and that will help us greatly with air quality in the future.
My wife and I highly recommend Efficient Systems for your annual maintenance as well as any new installs you may need.

I'm on contract with Efficiency Systems and its worth it. I recently had my a/c unit serviced. Wes did a great job and was helpful in letting me know what I needed to do to keep the current unit in good working order. Thanks for a job well done.

Very disappointed with Efficient Systems. They went out to my mother's house and pressed one button on her thermostat and put a little freon in her air conditioner and charged $450. We tried calling to ask questions and the manager would not return our calls. I feel like they like to take advantage of seniors by price gouging. I'd stay clear of this company if I were you. There are much more trustworthy AC companies in the Beaumont area that you can use.

I have been using them for so long now I think since 99. They have always returned my calls quickly and are very friendly and professional. They give you a time, my guy shows up, explains what's wrong and gives you a price and asks if you want to proceed before he starts working, which is nice, especially if you weren't expecting to have to spend that kind of money. I have always been pleased and happy with their work and how nice it is to work with such a great company.

Bare with me, long story but worth reading: My husband and I had a terrible experience with this company. This occurred on a Saturday. Our return air duct was cracking and causing insulation particles to distribute through our (recently purchased) home. We decided to give Efficient Systems a call. We got ahold of a weekend service guy and explained to him the problem (in detail) with our system. We also asked him if he had access to the parts of the weekend and if it could be fixed that day. We were assured over the phone that they had access to those parts over the weekend. We were also told that we would be charged over-time for the service call but we were willing to pay that for them to fix our system that day. Fast forward.. The service guy shows up at 4:00 that day, takes a look at our return air duct and tells us that he can't fix our system that day, because he doesn't have access to the parts. HE NAILS UP A WOOD 2 by 4! Mind you, my husband does woodworking on the side and has a million 2 by 4's in his shop and is fully capable of nailing up a 2 by 4. The service guy then asks for payment (overtime payment) and leaves without fixing anything. Fast forward.. we call the service manager on Monday morning and talk to him about what happened over the weekend.. We told the service manager that we were assured (by the service guy) that the issue could be fixed over the weekend. That is the only reason we had the service guy come out to our house over the weekend. We assured the service manger that we weren't mad that we had to "pay for" service but that we were told one thing (lied to) and our system still didn't get fixed. The service manager didn't apologize once for the mishap or even try to make it right. He just simply said "my service guy shouldn't have told you that." In the end, we tried to give him (service manager) a chance to have business if they would make it right by taking some money off of the job. He then said "all I could do is drop the initial service call rate ($120 service charge/overtime) to the regular rate. So.. in the end.. he offered us $25 off the initial charge and was still going to charge us the full amount for the job. Also, the service manager said he couldn't even come back out to our house for several days. We told him no thanks and decided to go with another company. We didn't have much confidence in their workmanship based on the work they did the first time. This company didn't try to keep our business, didn't try to apologize for their poor service, miscommunication, or anything. I won't be recommending this company to anyone.

Efficient Systems is a good name for this business. They are run very efficiently, and the owner, Mike Ireland, is one of the most honest businessmen you will ever meet. The Efficient Systems technician diagnosed and repaired my A/C unit in a timely manner and the cost was very fair.

On the 3rd day of trying to get my Lennox AC repaired, I called Efficient Systems and had a technician at my house within a few hours. My AC was fixed within minutes of him arriving and the problem the Efficient Systems tech found was 1/8 of the price to repair than what I was quoted by Thermacon for a fan motor that was not needed. My AC is working great!! Additionally, Thermacon wanted me to wait another day for them to order the part I didn't need. So happy I decided to try to find someone who could fix my AC quicker. Additionally, had I needed the fan motor, Efficient Systems was going to charge approx $75 less for the part than Thermacon. Can't speak highly enough about Efficient Systems!! Five stars isn't enough!!!

Efficient Systems has been servicing my home in Beaumont since 1999. I'm renting the place out after moving to Austin in 2009 and the company has helped me meet the challenges of managing property from afar. It's an old house and old unit so it's not perfect, but the company has been A+ on communicating with me and was fair and gracious about a minor billing issue recently. I'd recommend them any day.
