I'm adding my voice to the 5-star echo chamber. Mark is a real pro. He installed a new water heater this afternoon and I've never had such HOT water so fast in the years I've owned the house. Since the current water heater was 26 years old, I knew it was a matter of time before a major incident was likely to occur. Mark did an excellent job installing the heater and even dropped his original price since he was able to use some of the existing piping. I will have him do the plumbing on my master bath remodel after his very fair estimate. He even referred me to a tile pro with whom he often works. It's a real pleasure to encounter a pro like Mark these days. No wonder he works non-stop.

I couldn't be happier to finally find a plumber who is a ""keeper""! I called Efficient Plumbing based on the excellent reviews I read here on Yelp - Mark is more than deserving of the 5-star rating. He was responsive to my emails, reasonable with his pricing, punctual on his two visits, and very nice, professional and efficient while here. He did all work I requested and advised when the work I thought I needed wasn't really required. It's great to find an efficient, reasonable, honest plumber who does great work. His only problem is that he's working too much because of all the wonderful references and reviews. I won't be helping that as I'll give his name to anyone looking for a good plumber. Thanks Mark - keep up the good work!

I highly recommend Mark. He has done a couple jobs for me now, and both were done professionally .. and at a fair price. He also shows up exactly at the appointment time, not a minute earlier or later. He also does everything professionally using high quality parts (Moen, Toto, etc). Give him a call!

Mark is one of those hard to find knowledgeable, clean, and fair priced plumbers. He replaced my garbage disposal on a holiday for no extra charge and even replaced and re-worked the p-trap and sewer line under the sink for no extra charge so that everything would run smoother. He showed up on-time and did the work for the quoted price. I will definitely be calling Efficient Plumbing again.

Called Efficient Plumbing (which is actually just a one-man operation, run by Mark) to get a quote for running a natural gas line to an outdoor grill. Mark was able to come by after work hours, to accommodate my schedule, and talked me through several different options.

Once we agreed on where the pipes would go and a fair price for the job, he was patient enough to hang on for 2 weeks while I made sure my neighbors knew a plumber would need access to their yard.

The natural gas line had to go along the side of my house and Mark was very strategic about placing the pipe under a small overhang to make it less visible. He was an absolute artist with the careful placement of the pipe! And high quality pipes with an extra safety valve too!

I also appreciated the fact that I could communicate with him via text and he was cool with installing the pipe while I was at work, watched over by my nanny-cam of course, you can't be too careful :)

Overall, a very pleasant transaction. I highly recommend!

My water pressure regulator needed replacement. I had home warranty from the previous owner, but the plumbers (who were rated 1 star everywhere) that came out wanted an extra $130 for work not covered. I figured if I was going to pay, I want a *real* plumber, so I looked around and was drawn to the 5 star review on Yelp. Mark was very responsive and I was able to take a picture and get a quote over the phone. The difference between what Mark charged and what I would have to pay with the insurance company was $35 and Mark included the replacement of the value with it, so it was a no brainer to go with Mark. It was late in the day, but he was able to come out the next day.

In the end, not only did Mark replace the regulator and the value, but he replaced the faucet head as well, so the entire section was new--all for the price originally agreed upon! He also cleaned up smoothed out the soldering and cleaned up the floor. Great price, great work, great communication and great customer service makes for a great combination for a plumber. Highly recommended!

I found Efficient Plumbing off of yelp and decided to try him because of all the 5 star reviews. People are not lying. He was so good. He was friendly, efficient, and quoted me prices and stuck with them for his services. He did not try to up sale me, but did give me several options in a non-pushy manner.
He was the second plumber that I had in 2 weeks and I liked him so much better.
He even tested my water pressure for me as a courtesy since I had just moved into the house.
Highly recommend and will use him again for any other plumbing needs I have.

Mark is amazing. I had to have the soft water system in my garage removed as it was leaking and destroying my garage. I had hired another plumber for another job in my home who noticed it and quoted me 1,000 bucks to remove it. I didn't go with that asshat who by the way is from Ben Franklin plumbing and totally ripped me off.

I decided to start hunting for a plumber on yelp and came across Mark. He came out and removed the system for the quoted low price of 200 bucks even though it required extra work. He even cleaned up the mess the unit had made. He was polite, professional and honest. I will never go to another plumber for any of my plumbing needs.

You know the feeling You get when you are doing the dishes and your feet suddenly start to feel wet? Well after saying ""oh crap..."" I immediately googled a plumber. I kept finding plumbers with the most stupid names like ""elite plumbing"" but when I got to ""efficient"" plumbing I thought...""yeah I need someone pretty efficient (not necessarily elite) right now!"" I called mark. Unfortunately it was after hours, but you know what? He came over anyway at 8pm! The price was pretty decent and he was happy to help. Best of all he wasn't the typical overweight plumbing looking dude with a hanging out butt crack bending down. He is good looking and in shape to do the job! We are talking about a really nice real guy who does owns his work, now that's efficient! Choose mark!
