Next time, we will call Efficient Plumbing first!!!

Our water heater just went out, and in the emergency of no hot water, my husband (without doing any research) called the name already on the old water heater and made an appt. with Affordable Water Heaters, Inc.

In the meantime, I called Efficient Plumbing and Mark, who was very polite on the phone, rearranged his schedule so that he could come by the same day and made me a quote. Turned out the quote was $600 less than the ""affordable"" plumber who had just arrived in our driveway. We told that plumber to leave, we had another, more reasonable quote.

All of a sudden, the plumber dropped his price to match Marks, and since he was also charging $100 just for the visit, we just felt we had to go with that plumber...

But next time, I will definitely call Mark first. He was a pleasure to deal with, gave me a good price, and was remained pleasant even when I told him we werent using him that day. Thanks, Mark!

This happened over a month ago but procrastinated getting his review out.
I called up mark on a Thursday after finding him here on yelp. Mark's ratings were so high, I decided to try him. It is very difficult to find a reputable plumber.
It was not an emergency so he scheduled to see me as his last call on the next day, Friday.
When he got here he thought it would be an easy fix. After all, it was just a clogged toilet on the first floor level. We were having problems for months where it would work and then stop working (see, I always procrastinate)
Mark worked on it for a while and then realized it must be roots. He pulled the toilet and find an unbelievable amount of roots totaling about 3 inches wide and 6 feet long.
What amazed me also is he laughed about how the simple jobs on the end of the week turn into larger ones, but refused to stop working on it. I apologized to him for making his day even longer. He said its no problem, I'm just glad we figured out what the ""root cause"" was.
He had it fixed within 10 minutes after that and then dreaded to hear the price. I was expecting the cost to be pretty high. When he told me, I couldn't believe it. I asked him if he added it up right. He said yep. It was so low, I Immediately asked him for extra cards so I can tell others about him.

I've worked with Mark on various projects over the span of seven years. He is always on time and on budget.

I originally heard about Mark from a neighbor who highly recommended him. I've since done the same and recommended Mark to my friends and neighbors. Every single time, I've received great comments back from friends.

This is a belated review. Mark, the owner, came out a few months ago responding to a leak we had in our upstairs shower. Water was leaking from there through the garage ceiling below. We feared the worst so thought we'd give Mark a try because of all the high ratings here. He did not disappoint. He quickly zeroed in on the problem which was a simple fix that I would never have figured out even had I spent half a day breaking my back on it. The best part was that, since it was a simple fix, the bill was really affordable.

I'm adding my voice to the 5-star echo chamber. Mark is a real pro. He installed a new water heater this afternoon and I've never had such HOT water so fast in the years I've owned the house. Since the current water heater was 26 years old, I knew it was a matter of time before a major incident was likely to occur. Mark did an excellent job installing the heater and even dropped his original price since he was able to use some of the existing piping. I will have him do the plumbing on my master bath remodel after his very fair estimate. He even referred me to a tile pro with whom he often works. It's a real pleasure to encounter a pro like Mark these days. No wonder he works non-stop.

I couldn't be happier to finally find a plumber who is a ""keeper""! I called Efficient Plumbing based on the excellent reviews I read here on Yelp - Mark is more than deserving of the 5-star rating. He was responsive to my emails, reasonable with his pricing, punctual on his two visits, and very nice, professional and efficient while here. He did all work I requested and advised when the work I thought I needed wasn't really required. It's great to find an efficient, reasonable, honest plumber who does great work. His only problem is that he's working too much because of all the wonderful references and reviews. I won't be helping that as I'll give his name to anyone looking for a good plumber. I highly recommend Mark. He has done a couple jobs for me now, and both were done professionally .. and at a fair price. He also shows up exactly at the appointment time, not a minute earlier or later. He also does everything professionally using high quality parts (Moen, Toto, etc). Give him a call!

Mark is one of those hard to find knowledgeable, clean, and fair priced plumbers. He replaced my garbage disposal on a holiday for no extra charge and even replaced and re-worked the p-trap and sewer line under the sink for no extra charge so that everything would run smoother. He showed up on-time and did the work for the quoted price. I will definitely be calling Efficient Plumbing again.
