Company Overview

Since 1948, Edwards Plumbing & Heating has been a family-owned, all-inclusive plumbing, heating, and air conditioning service provider in Montgomery, Alabama. Our services encompass a wide array of design, installation, and maintenance for plumbing and air conditioning. Our company features multiple divisions, including heating and cooling, as well as service and hardware departments. With a team of over 75 skilled employees and a fleet exceeding 45 vehicles, we are well-equipped to serve our community. We offer various service agreements that include detailed summer and winter check-up services. We provide a variety of gas furnace models, including builder, upgrade, and leadership versions. Additionally, we offer an assortment of package units, including heat pumps and both gas and electric units.

For more than 52 years, we have been dedicated to serving the Montgomery area, providing timely, reliable, and expert service to thousands of happy customers. Originally, we operated as a plumbing and hardware store, and many of our clients are familiar with our old location on Mt. Meigs Road. In 1964, we transitioned to our current facility on Jean Street. A heating and cooling division was introduced in 1959, and the hardware department was phased out in 1963.

At the beginning, we specialized in new construction, but as time went on, new homeowners began to call us for help with their plumbing issues. Furthermore, many of our new heating and cooling customers reached out to us for system replacements or upgrades as they became necessary. This led to the establishment of our service department.
