My husband and I recently purchased a house in Mount Clemens, Michigan and upon moving in we found the smell of natural gas present. We called Consumers to come and inspect and mark the leaks and were advised they do not do repairs and to reach out to a heating and cooling company. We unluckily found Edwards Plumbing and Heating. In the beginning they were able to accommodate our urgency as there were a few LARGE gas leaks and we have a 1.5 year old daughter. However, after their first repair which cost us over $1,200 we found that some of their repairs were faulty and other leaks were found because of the repairs they did. We continually smelled gas in our basement after their initial repair and called consumers back out to yet again mark all leaks. We reached back out to Edwards and they sent another technician out to review their work. They wanted us to pay an additional $1,100.00 for the replacement of their previous work and to fix the 2 other leaks. One of these leaks was about 3 inches from their repairs that was estimated to be from the wrenching on the piping to complete the other repair and was dumping loads of gas into our furnace which would have ended in our house practically exploding if we were using our furnace at the time. We have been reaching out to them for over a month to discuss with management and continually are receiving the run around that a manager is not available. No matter the time nor day we call the manager is never available. I would not recommend this company, any of their technicians who complete below average work. I wish this was able to be resolved with the company because I am not one to publicly shame a business because of one bad experience but it is very clear they do not care about the customer and frankly aren't even interested in hearing their concerns.

Poor job, I had to call a real plumbing company to water jet my clogged floor drain line in the basement after I paid this person Robert over $500 just to snake and to talk to me like I was an idiot and he had 40 years of experience, not that he proved it.
Very overprice and under deliver, you should stay away from this company.

I would give my experience NEGATIVE 5,000 stars if possible. Do not EVER let employee Robert Nelson near your house. When I called, I specified that the toilet flapper was broken and the toilet would not stop running. When the associate came to the house, he took one look in the bathroom and stated, yes, the toilet was broken. He turned around to leave and demanded $70. We laughed. He did NOTHING. Also, he did not look at me once, even though I am the home owner and the wage earner. He then insulted my husband (who uses marijuana for his incredibly painful joint disorder) by saying ""Smoke another joint you F***ing pot heads"" after quoting a $400 repair. We had bought a universal kit which he claimed we could not use. We didn't know we had a 3"" flap and had bought a kit with a 2"" flap. After we got the right size, my husband fixed it in 25 minutes. Total cost less than $40. Do not let this loser company rip you off!!!!!

THIS REVIEW IS BASED SOLEY ON AN INCIDENT THAT HAPPENED BETWEEN MYSELF AND ONE OF THEIR DRIVERS.**
I was traveling east bound 94 near the Trumbull exit in the middle lane when a van merging onto the highway cut me off and then slammed on his brakes. I waited for left lane traffic to clear and proceeded to pass. Just as I was about to pass he comes into my lane almost forcing me into the wall causing me to be in a STANDING position on my brakes. He continued in the left lane riding the bumper of the car in front of him until the driver was forced over. He proceeded at a high rate of speed down the left lane of the highway. It was careless and downright reckless. He had no regard for the safety of ANYONE that was on the road with him let alone for himself. If this man can't do something as simple as operating a motor vehicle in a safe and responsible way what are his ""heating and plumbing"" capabilities? If a young, caucasian, male arrives in a vehicle with the license plate DB29003 beware. He doesn't even care for his own safety and most definitely doesn't care about yours.

Overall the plumbing expertise is good, but the prices are high, and the customer service is poor. For such a high price, they should provide a better customer experience.

We hired them to complete an outdoor drain replacement (dig trench, replace drain, backfill trench). I believe the plumbing work was done well, but the backfill was executed out of position. We now have a burm and a ditch in our front yard! I've called them several times about fixing this, and each time have been told a supervisor will call me back. But apparently no one there cares to properly complete the backfill on this job.

If they had low prices, I'd say this comes with the territory. Instead, they are one of the higher prices out there.

I think you'll get better value with another service provider.

did a good job but a little slow on picking up old pipes and grading the ground possible waiting for dirt to settle called today and was told they will take care of it. Robert and his crew where great did an excellent job.

Edward's heating and plumbing is a professional company with competitive prices. The workers are respectful of your personal property and they have emergency services. I had one of my pipes break in my laundry room causing it to flood. The gentleman a master in his field said it seemed to be the P-trap. In order to fix this issue the concrete had to be broken up to access the pipe. Sure enough it was just as they said busted p-trap. The Edward's team took every precautions to dry out my flooded laundry room made the repairs to the concrete and cleaned up as if they were not there! A+++in my book!
