My water heater quit working I tried for a week to get it to work. Finally, I called Edwards Plumbing Heating in Vinton and told them I think I need a new thermocouple. They came out My Daughter called and told Told me they were there. Then 10 minutes later she calls back and said Brian Edwards told her it was unrepairable and that they needed another $800.00 to start replacing it. So when I got home I run to Theisens and buy a new thermocouple for $11.76 I Know nothing about fixing a water heater. But with the help of a You-tube Video it took me 15 minutes to replace, And Guess what no problems since? So I called to tell them and they say ""WELL GOOD FOR YOU!"" But at least they did not charge me for the visit!
(So instead of being unrepairable and $800.00. It was 11.76 and 15 minutes.)

Very unprofessional. Wouldn't inform us of any problem or maybe they didn't have a clue themselves. Charged us 180 dollars to push reset button on furnace and then to look at toilet. Did not fix toilet and said that Brian Edwards would come back the following day to look into it more. Never showed up, never called or contacted us until they sent the bill. I would recommend taking business elsewhere. I don't want others to go through what we did.
