I called Edward's Enterprises about a back door that had swollen during the rain, and wouldn't close properly. I live in an older cottage, built in 1944. I believe the kitchen was constructed in the 1920's.
I am beyond happy with the repairs. The two men arrived on time, texted me with their ETA, and they were very polite and focused.
They fixed the door beautifully, in thirty minutes. They even repaired my outdoor light fixture for me. I didn't have the right length of screws for the bell jar covering. They also put up a curtain rod in my kitchen, and put a screw in my front door's deadbolt plate, so it wasn't shifting out of position.
I will definitely use them in the future. I was very impressed with their talent and knowledge. They are worth the price. Highly recommended!

Ben was the estimator and the installer. Estimate was within budget. The quality of the lighting fixtures was excellent as was the installation. Ben showed up on time and even used thin plastic drop cloths to prevent drilling fallout on my clothes. He replaced 2 dated fluorescent light fixtures, with led lighting that produce 100% better lighting and WILL NOT replacement during my lifetime. He also estimated the area on the ceiling so I did not have to do any patchwork painting after the installation.

Highly recommend Edward's Enterprises if you want the job to work as promised and within budget.

Vent-a-Hood range hood repair was done in April 2024.
They changed one of the fans and it still works well (09/30/2024) and has since been much quieter and more effective.
They cleaned it well and were very professional and knowledgeable.
I think it was well worth the money, we were able to save the range hood (which came with the house and which we have been using for 34 some years)!

When selling our home, the relocation company required us to make some repairs with a short turnaround schedule. The repairs required many facets of understanding, including dry-rot repairs, stucco repairs, wood replacement, painting, etc. Ben performed the estimate and talked through all the options. EE was ultimately the best choice for many reasons, from all the estimates I obtained. Ben did all the repairs in a timely manner, something I was panicked about, and provided daily updates. If it weren't for us moving, I would definitely use them again for normal or random projects. I highly recommend!

I highly recommend Edward's Enterprise Remodels and Repairs. They were able to repair my front door the very next day. The technician kept me informed as to the time he would arrive at my house. When the technician arrived, he was able to quickly determine the problem. The technician was professional and knowledgeable as well as courteous . My doors work great now. I definitely will call them again for any future repairs I might have .

This is my second time using the services of Edward's Enterprises. The first (2019) was for updating my backyard with fresh posts, and lattice. They did a very good job so I called them again this year (2024) for making a new custom double garden gate, installing a new man door for the garage, and shaving down a gate so it would move through more easily. Everything turned out GREAT! Ben, the lead, and Fidel, his colleague, were both so knowledgeable, and polite, and efficient. I think Ben's super power is the ability to explain the job and also listen to what I wanted. Sometimes you might find a less expensive contractor, but Gabe (in the office) really kept me informed as to when the guys were going to show up, answered and replied to my calls and emails promptly. The communication is very good! If I had to do it all over again, I would use Edward's again.

We have a house in Santa Monica and on a hill and because of the rain over the past couple of years we've had very bad leaks that have destroyed a basement room. We called Edward's Enterprises and Beau came out and resealed our entire foundation and found a huge hole in the foundation. Beau was able to fix the issues and we've been problem free this past winter. Beau was very professional and thorough when explaining the issue. Highly recommend them.

I paid the $99 fee for the company to come out to a small rental property because 3 interior doors were ""sticking."" They originally told me if I used them for the job, the $99 would be applied to the job. After the $99, they changed it to if the job was over $500. I said I would never have agreed to that because I knew the job was minor and wouldn't cost that much.

They sent me the quote and it was over $1700! I couldn't believe it! They said it was expensive because 2 guys were needed for the job to take these doors off the hinges.
Obviously I did not use them. I called a nice older fix it handy man and he came out the next day and fixed everything for $180. Yes this guy was licensed and everything!

I was so upset they were trying to rip me off! Thank God I knew better. Please price around before you use this company!
