Recommended Customer Reviews

This is my second time using the services of Edward's Enterprises. The first (2019) was for updating my backyard with fresh posts, and lattice. They did a very good job so I called them again this year (2024) for making a new custom double garden gate, installing a new man door for the garage, and shaving down a gate so it would move through more easily. Everything turned out GREAT! Ben, the lead, and Fidel, his colleague, were both so knowledgeable, and polite, and efficient. I think Ben's super power is the ability to explain the job and also listen to what I wanted. Sometimes you might find a less expensive contractor, but Gabe (in the office) really kept me informed as to when the guys were going to show up, answered and replied to my calls and emails promptly. The communication is very good! If I had to do it all over again, I would use Edward's again.

We have a house in Santa Monica and on a hill and because of the rain over the past couple of years we've had very bad leaks that have destroyed a basement room. We called Edward's Enterprises and Beau came out and resealed our entire foundation and found a huge hole in the foundation. Beau was able to fix the issues and we've been problem free this past winter. Beau was very professional and thorough when explaining the issue. Highly recommend them.

excellent customer service as well as follow up. I hired Edward Enterprises to do some work in My Home. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and completed the work perfectly. I would highly recommend.!

I paid the $99 fee for the company to come out to a small rental property because 3 interior doors were ""sticking."" They originally told me if I used them for the job, the $99 would be applied to the job. After the $99, they changed it to if the job was over $500. I said I would never have agreed to that because I knew the job was minor and wouldn't cost that much.
They sent me the quote and it was over $1700! I couldn't believe it! They said it was expensive because 2 guys were needed for the job to take these doors off the hinges.
Obviously I did not use them. I called a nice older fix it handy man and he came out the next day and fixed everything for $180. Yes this guy was licensed and everything!
I was so upset they were trying to rip me off! Thank God I knew better. Please price around before you use this company!

We called Edward's Enterprises when we needed a new light fixture and a new ceiling fan to be installed. We also wanted our existing ceiling fan relocated, but that one needed to have the motor repaired. The person who did the work was amazing. The first two projects went smoothly, but the broken fan needed to be taken to the shop for the repair work. They were able to get it working within a few days, and the original installer came back to put that one up.
The day after the final fan installation, our hot water heater went out. Edward's sent another person over within a few hours.
All of our projects were handled very professionally at every level. We are very happy with all of the work that was done and we are happy to recommend them.

I used Edward's Enterprises again, this time to dismantle a 12 by 30 ft Patio Cover. Andrew and Morgan arrived on time and spent about five hours on the job. They were very efficient and cleaned up the area. They even raked the grass to make sure that they picked up all of the nails. I was very satisfied with their work and would use Edward's Enterprises again when I needed work done around the house. Their prices are very competitive and can be trusted.

I'm not much of a ""reviewer"" but felt the need to say something for future customers.
If you are just needing something small done, it would be best just to call a handyman and pay him a few hundred bucks.
The guys come in pairs and charge $190 an hour and in fine print it states ""for a minimum of 3 hours""....long story short, if you're having something worked on that's less than $600 bucks it makes zero sense. No ones fault but my own (as the guys knocked out what I needed done) but as a contractor myself, definitely felt a little slimy paying $600 bucks for a 1 hr call.

Went over and above to unclog my drain pipes and gutters and were very pleasant and cleaned up any debris

I needed my front door repaired and was looking for places to do it. Not having much luck until I came across Edwards Enterprises. The reviews of this company seems to speak for themselves. Now I wasn't fan about the $99 consultation fee for someone to come out for 5 minutes to examine to door is extortion but I did infact needed to get the door fixed so I agreed. The technician showed up promptly and examined as expected. He did have a plan while inspecting and was knowledgable to his craft so there was no question to go with any other company. The day of project, I was windowed with a time 9-11am. Perfect for me to move my meeting to the later afternoon. Unfortunately, I didn't get contacted from the technician till 15 minutes after 11:00 am saying he was coming from Santa Barabra from a job that took longer than expected. He also had to pick up another technician from Oxnard. I like to be forgiving if late meaning no more than 10 minutes but they did not arrive until 1:30pm. Seriously? Over 2 hours late and so I had to then move meeting over to the next day because of a window in possible to make since i live in the Thousand Oaks area. Luckily, they got to work and it didn't take too long to get everything in place and fixed. To be fair, the technicians did do a good job and the door was able to close so much better. The dead bolt sometimes gets stuck a bit but does lock. At the end of the day, it was good work but with the dead bolt sticking at times, could have been better. When I sent an email to Gabe, who ""handles customer relations"" didn't handle my situation with much care at all. In fact, he sends an email about the work that was done at my residence and not about the feedback I send the day of. When mentioning it, it took over an hour for a response and a general excuse in talking with their techicians about the ""importances of communication of job delays"". Which is always crock just so that way to can avoid of any compensation or discount. I work for the hospitality industry and know how valueable it is to retain customer relations and loyalty. I feel its fair up to 15 minutes late somewhere as long as the customer knows ahead of time is more than resonable but over 2 hours? unacceptable. As always after sending a reponsing email, I was blown off so thats fine. I know that Edwards Enterprises is not worth for any of the services especially for $99 consultation fee. Do yourself a favor and do more research to before you make a decision on what company is right for you to do any type of repair or remodeling to your house.

Always have a smooth experience with Edward's Enterprises fixing our garbage disposal. They are punctual, get straight to the problem, and provide helpful information for the future. Thank you!
