I will give him 0 stars. I wanted to get battery back up sump pump installed and used Home Advisor to find out reliable plumbers in my area and HA recommended this guy. HA needs to do a better job of finding out who is good and who is terrible.

Back to this guy. He has absolutely no respect in dealing with customers. He was not willing to provide details of his service, what parts he is going to be using and kept saying I needed to trust him and expected me to commit to him large amount of $$ without knowing what I am getting into. When pressed for details he started making stereotypical racial comments and cursing.

People beware, DO NOT consider him for anything even for free.

I would not even give him one star. He came out with one other guy to see if he could help us with a bad smell in the pipe of our bathroom. He touched nothing but had a Spanish guy unscrew the toilet while he stared out the window at our lady neighbor in her mini skirt. The only thing done was unscrewing the toilet and then he left it there sitting in the middle of the floor for days. Threw our wax ring away so the entire house was down a bathroom. No fees charged for initial visit.

He came on a Monday and was supposed to come back on Thursday morning to actually work and fix the problem. Called the day before to confirm a time he was coming (9am) and almost close to 11am he had not showed, called, text, or anything. So i had to call him and he sounded like was asleep. He said he had a headache and was sleeping it off. Stuff happens, we get it. However, he could have given us a heads up. I took the day off just to be home so he could come do the work. He even LIED saying he spoke with my husband already. My husband had not received one call nor message from him all day. My husband text him saying nevermind and to not worry about coming since he was unable to make it.

Another plumber stopped by to let us know our toilet not being screwed on with the wax ring is leaving us exposed to EXTREMELY DANGEROUS gases from the pipe. (Rotton egg smell gases). Later, that evening this jerk calls and leaves a voicemail trying to buy back business with us. My husband then again lets him know to not come out and that we're good. He then calls my husband CURSING at him and saying he is going to charge us $150 anyways and we need to pay him. Remind you, NO WORK was done to fix our problem. But he was so rude calling and trying to curse my husband out because he lost our business. VERY BAD & NOT PROFESSIONAL!! He's pushing us to getting our lawyers involved now. BEWARE!! Find someone else!

My husband and I hired Edward Bittner Plumbing and Heating to remodel our master bath - I have never been happier!! I am the proud owner of the most beautiful bathroom in Chesterfield County!! The job was big, but this man and his workers were up to the challenge. They were skilled, efficient, polite, friendly and honest; completing my bathroom makeover within the estimated time and within the estimated budget. The plumbing work is flawless and the tile work is gorgeous! I love that I did't have to hire several different companies or a general contractor; Edward brought skills in every area we needed. He was even able to do all of the painting! I would recommend Edward Bittner to anyone looking for work done in their home.
