We knew our air conditioning system was aging out when we called for an estimate and an evaluation of what was best suited for our house. EDS did not disappoint us, they had Don at our home the next day to evaluate and price out a worthwhile system without going to the top of the line (though they did offer it if I had wanted it). Two days later Aron and Bryan arrived at 8 a.m. to remove the old system and install the new system, test it, and make sure that everything was left clean and spotless at the end of the job; all in the same day. I recommend EDS to anyone requesting service, repair, or new installs.

My air conditioner in my condominium stopped working. I called the first AC company and a repairman came out. He didn't know what he was doing and told me I needed a new unit and at the very least a delay relay switch. Oddly enough, he recommended I call EDS for this project. I called EDS and Sean Caplan came out to look at my AC. Sean brought his pressure gauges and explained every test he did as I hovered over him. He went through the diagnostic tests and he saw nothing wrong with the AC itself. He said the AC looked good and was not old and did not need to be replaced. His final test was the thermostat. My AC thermostat needed to be replaced. I had a fancy NEST thermostat with Wi-Fi and I ask Sean for just a basic thermostat. He gave me the Honeywell T4 Pro Thermostat programmable one. I give this company 5 stars because I adored Sean Caplan. Sean is an expert in AC repair. I thought the price I was charged for the Honeywell Home T4 Pro programmable thermostat was expensive for $411. I then looked on Amazon and found this thermostat for a price of $40.54. To me, the markup in price was excessive. I did sign up for the maintenance program and the service charge was waved. I will use and recommend this company (due to Sean) but I will be more savvy and ask the price of the parts prior to installation. Terry Hickey

Needed an emergency AC repair. I was so pleased EDS was able to get here to fix it. Service tech was timely, friendly, competent & polite and had it fixed in less than an hour. Hooray we have air conditioning!

Extremely strange situation. I called to have them turn on hot water heater. Ok I know a Service call is a service call. They get $89 hr. Fine. BUT they looked at the A/C as well which is a free service. Unfortunately I need a new handler and told them they can install it. $3500. I went ahead paid the $89 but thought... Hey he was already here took to seconds to turn on my hot water heater. Should not have to pay it. Donald would rather keep the $89 as opposed to deduct from the installation $3500 unit ...I also need a split unit in the garage as he knows. $4500 unit. His call of course but thought it strange. Onto looking for a new A/C guy.

This company installed a new system in to our new house prior to our purchase. We continued with them as we felt they would continue to offer good quality service. And they have. We would recommend them highly. They are always on time with appointments and are pleasant and respectful to us. Their pricing is satisfactory and competitive. Our A/C stopped working today and we called EDS. They showed up right away and our tech, Don Connelly, was great. Very professional and knowledgeable. He really took the time to explain what was wrong with the unit and made sure I had all my questions answered. The company also texts you when your tech is on his way with GPS tracking so you know exactly when they will be there. They also sent a photo and a little bio of the tech. I really liked this because you can kind of get a feel for who is coming to your home. We will definitely use them again and recommend to family and friends.
