yes, another five stars, and it was well deserved!
huge root intrusion into about 40 feet of clay drain tile from a 1918 house.

fixed in one day. they were done by 3. one day. couldn't use the drain for only 4 hrs.
I shopped around, and the price was more than fair for the scope of the work.

from the very friendly and informed first call, to the camera, to the bitter end, edgar and his crew were nothing but pleasant to deal with.

will definitely call again, but not for this root problem!

Edgar is an awesome plumber. A few years back when we lived in eagle rock our pipe broke in the restroom and we had called him on a weekday evening, he was having dinner and came to our are address within minutes. Fixed the problem quickly, was very pleasant and very reasonable priced for after hours. I HIGHLY recommend Edger! Very professional.

I needed a bathroom fixture installed within 24 hours due to a leak. I called Edgar and he said he could do it the next day at Noon. He and his worker arrived early. Edgar came out on a Sunday within an hour and provided an estimate. If the Landlord agrees to have him do the job I will update this post with the end results.

UPDATE:

The next day Monday (which was a holiday) he and his crew came out and completed the job within 6.5 hours. The job was for a replacement main water line that the city was about to pave a new sidewalk over. Great friendly guy who really helped me out. Highly recommend. A+

The best decision I made was to hire Edgar! I picked his service over 3 other Plumbing companies- his ""no-nonsense"" way of describing what's needed to get done was very appreciated (the others- all tacked on unnecessary ""add-ons"") . I hired him to replace my Water-heater tank, with a Tankless- and he gave me a written estimate, on the spot- all the other companies either took a week, or just didn't circle back to me (I had to call to remind them). And his quality of work is ""spot-on""! I've since brought him back for a couple of other jobs (drain cleaning, pipe refitting), and his response time is always fast (he calls back quickly, shows up on-time, and completes the job within a few hours). I now refer to him as ""My Plumber"", when family/friends bring up a plumbing issue- he's the only one I'll recommend.
