Edgar performed complicated plumbing diagnosis and repair work at a 2 story duplex for me in Highland Park. He was responsive, a great communicator and a skilled plumber. I called on Sunday and the job was completed on Monday. He kept me updated throughout the process with phone calls and pictures. He uncovered the issues that were causing my problems and he fixed them while still charging a fair price. Edgar was a pleasure to work with. I received great feedback from the tenants that occupy the unit and who personally met Edgar while he was doing the repair work. His crew knows what they are doing. He stands behind his work and makes sure the job is done correctly without shortcuts. Will definitely use Edgar for future plumbing related issues. Honest, reliable and fair. 5 stars.

I just wrote a lengthy review and then went to log in and when I came back, Yelp had eaten my review. I can't do it again. Suffice it to say that I had a plumbing NIGHTMARE (the only thing worse would have been snakes emerging from the tub), and Edgar came through like a champ. He solved my huge, horrific, disgusting, complicated problem quickly and at a reasonable price, and he made me feel better about the whole thing, to boot. He's bright, communicative, and does what he says he's going to do. A man of real integrity. I'll never call any other plumber, ever.

Edgar installed a cast iron bath tub, a tub and shower valve, drain waste over flow, and replaced my regulator and shut off valve all in record time. Not to mention he was very professional and honest. He arrived on time and extremely reasonable in comparison to the quotes that we received. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for an honest opinion and reasonable.

Put in a faucet for me which turned out to be a much bigger job because wood was rotted underneath and both shut off valves needed to be replaced. He did a great job and price was really reasonable. Will definitely use them again.

Edgar is great! He is friendly, professional, reliable and efficient. I've been using his services for a couple of years now and finally decided to do a review. He has changed a water heater, installed toilets, upgraded kitchen faucets, unclogged drains and changed a sewer pipe. He and his workers are always professional and friendly. They have rescued me many times, especially when a tenant's old water heater stopped working and she didn't have any hot water. Edgar was here the next morning and installed a new one for a very reasonable price. I definitely recommend him!

Edgar is the most top-notch plumber I have ever encountered. I was very desperate when our bathrooms in our new house were backing up after we had had a different plumber service them the previous month. Edgar and his team came out and quickly assessed that our main drain pipes were clogged with roots (that had supposedly been removed by the seller) and that our pipes coming from our bathroom were very badly broken and needed to be replaced. He quoted us a very fair price for a lot of work and did a beautiful job. He was honest, and generous with his time and advice. He even came back to our house the following day when my garbage disposal backed-up (an unrelated event). Any plumbing issues I have in the future, I will always call Edgar!

-Fair pricing, not the cheapest but not overly expensive

-Personable and ethical
