Whoever answered the phone asked how I heard about Eddie and I said he had good reviews on the internet and I wanted to stick with someone from Northport. (I ignored the 1 bad review). She asked what I needed done and then said Eddie would call me at the end of the day.
After several days of not hearing back, I decided I couldn't rely on Eddie, so I picked another plumber who had good reviews, but was in Kings Park. He turned out to be fantastic.

Had a water line emergency. Eddie's staff answered when I called, scheduled a visit at mid-day and Little Eddie did a great job sourcing the pipe failure within the wall. I had running water back in less than an hour. Fantastic job and very reasonable bill. Definitely recommend.

I was having my steam heat converted to hot water. Eddie's was recommended from a friend of mine based on the fact he was local. I got a quote which was reasonable and hired them to do the work. I did some pre-work like changing the valves on all of my radiators for the conversion and running pex pipe all through my home so that everything was ready. Time was tight and Eddie suggested this as it would also help him in terms of time spent (he had other jobs upcoming). So the day comes that they are supposed to show up and they don't. Not even a call. I called and was told they'd be over later in the day to start. OK. Except that didn't happen either. This happened two other times- no show and no call, then when I called, a promise that they'd be to my house soon so that my 3 year old and 1 year old kids had heat. After a week of this nonsense, I called and demanded from the secretary that Eddie call me back. Not her. She said ""We're busy and you keep calling here. What do you want from me?"" I said ""I want you guys to come and do the job you agreed to do. The only reason I keep calling you is because you keep screwing me over"". Needless to say, I went to another plumber and had the job done quickly and right. I ended up using my central AC unit to get hydroponic heating. Still, Eddie cost me hundreds in pex materials and radiator conversion, as well as a weekend busting my rear. The worst part was not the rude, clueless receptionist. It was that I never got a call or an apology from Eddie himself. Guess he was too busy, after all. I would give 0 stars if I could. I would not, under any circumstances, ever do business with them or recommend this business to anyone.

I have used Eddies for years.. They are reasonable.. Prompt and friendly.. The office manager is a delight to deal with. Eddie himself came by and gave us his opinion. The work was done and we are very happy.. I highly recommend this company!!!!

I've used Eddie for years, too, and had Victor, an employee, do the actual work.. I've been told by their office worker that Victor no longer works there. The work in question- fixing a leak in our shower due to a damaged part in the faucet- had to be fixed repeatedly. We did not complain because it was caused by a cheaply made Delta part. Now Eddie himself suggested replacing the whole shower assembly and we scheduled an appointment for this and other work in the basement. Spent July 4 th holiday in the hot basement clearing the area for our scheduled appointment. Well they cancelled that one and we were told they were waiting on a part. Well it's two plus months later and no contact, no fixed leaks and drip drip drip the cesspools filling up rapidly! Despite calls to the office- in which we were told that since we had actually talked to Eddie- we would have to deal with him and he never gets back to us. Drip drip drip! Now we don't use Eddie anymore!

I've used Eddie's Plumbing for years. Victor, one of his guys, is fantastic. They are very reasonably priced, completely honest, and they do top-of-the-line work. A few times, I've checked quotes from other plumbers, and without fail, Eddie's is always among the less expensive options.

I've recommended them to a few people over the years, and everyone has equally great things to say about them. Definitely give them a shout.

They are very quick to come and nice but charge a FORTUNE. The guy was at my house for a half hour and installed a valve which costs $10 and they charged me $245. You can definitely find cheaper on LI
