We discovered at 6:30 pm today that we had no water pressure. I'm recovering from a knee replacement and can't go down in the basement. My wife discovers water spraying everywhere and I had her shut off the well power. I called Ed Rike Plumbing and they sent out their on call plumber, Philip Lockwood. He diagnosed a defective pressure tank, had one with him, and he was all done by 7:45!! I am totally awed by his professionalism. Rike Plumbing has bailed us out several times in an emergency and continues to impress me. I won't call anyone else

We called for an estimate to fix our well's low water pressure. The tech who came out said the only way to fix the issue was to dig (around 6500) or install a whole new well (around 10k). While diagnosing the issue he broke our T bar, did not try to fix it, and then handed us a $200 bill for coming. The next day we called for a second opinion and the issue was resolved in less than two hours, no digging, and for under $1500. Homeowner beware.

Called Ed Rike to have an estimate on my toilet repair. The man who came out left dirty boot tracks on my carpeted front porch. When he saw what he done, he went to his truck and put on a pair of boot covers, apologized and asked me for cleaner and a brush. He preceded to clean off all the black dirt off my porch. This company has done many repairs in our home and we've always been very satisfied. Ed Rike you've found a jewel when you hired Nate. He was very thoughtful, courteous and an excellent carpet cleaner.
I hope I don't get Nate in trouble, but people should know that your employees will go far and beyond to get the job done right. I gave a 5 star rating and we haven't had our toilet fixed yet........once repaired, I'm sure I'll be rating it a 5 also.

Came out for simple repair turned into $4000 repair
Had similar service with them before. Lesson learned.
