Against my better judgement, I agreed to have EcoTech replace my irrigation system (nozzles and timer) for free. It was a water conservation program paid for by the City of Whittier. WORST thing I have done as a homeowner. They had to come out a second time and replace the nozzles because they were not the right ones. Now the timer has issues with the wiring and EcoTech is refusing to come fix it. I basically have a system that is not as good as the one I had and EcoTech won't stand behind it after 30 days. Do yourself a favor RUN, do not walk away from this company. They do not stand behind their own product and the City of Whittier as well as myself got conned!!!

I'm having one of the worse experiences ever with a contracting company. My 6 month rebate application with DWP turf removal program is about to expire on Monday and Ecotech is not way near being done.

Their communication is the worst, I never got an actual design idea for my yard and what I have now is a pile of mulch around my house that looks like tinder that anyone with a match can come by and start a fire that could burn down my building. I AM NOT HAPPY and if this isn't ALL fixed by Friday I'm going to figure out the next steps beyond Yelp to get this resolved.

OMG! EcoTech Services went beyond their call of duty, from front office to field personnel. Gabriel and Jaime installed my water controller and lawn sprinklers. The work was done in a professional manner and quick. Gabriel and Jaime brought to my attention that one of the old sprinkler valves was busted, they showed me how much water was being wasted, they immediately fixed it. I felt they were looking after their customer and community, they shared other programs that are of value. I am currently looking into the other programs. I can't THANK EcoTech Services enough! GREAT JOB TEAM!

Every aspect of every detail went just even better than they said it would. My yard looked horrible , now it looks amazing. I was able to select my plants and get great advice from Breanna as to the layout.

EcoTech Services are so professional! Everyone from the scheduler, Veronica, to the tech, Louis, who serviced my order were polite, friendly and offered much information. It is hard to find this kind of service these days, but EcoTech came through. Thank you!

Update. Today Ivan came to install a new watering system and sprinkler system.

He arrived before our scheduled appointment. He took the time to explain to me how the new system would help conserve water, etc.

Ivan was very professional, knowledgeable, and kind.

I highly recommend Ecotech. They go out of their way to help customers.

I'm truly grateful and appreciative of all the work they have done.

My front yard needed much help, that I decided to take a chance in a drought tolerant landscape. Breanna, my Landscape Designer, did a superb job in designing my yard, especially when I expressed that I wanted low maintenance and a pathway. I was explained the work process in detail. There was a waiting period after the turf removal to make sure grass and weeds did not reappear. After the work was completed there were inspection follow-ups, which I greatly appreciated. Also, the couple of times that I had questions or concerns they promptly replied. EcoTech (Diana, Breanna, Gar and the rest of the team) were very professional and I'm mostly pleased with the design.

If I could give negative stars there wouldn't be enough stars. The rep., Jesse came in quoted me what I felt was a fair fee to remove all my weeds, pall the existing grass, put down some DG, plant new flowering plants and plant Kurapia plugs. Kurapia is a drought resistant grass that also attracts bees doe to the small flowers it produces. It took approximately 4 weeks to till the ground, apply 2 rounds of weed killer,?and install the plugs and plants. 50% of the plants died. All of this work was done in Oct thru Nov of 2017. After all the rains that winter the kurapia did not take. EcoTech sent guys out a couple of times to replant the dead plants and to install more plugs. First round of replacement plugs were already dead b4 planting. I told the guy and he said they just look that way but they weren't dead. Welll dead don't grow and these were dead. They came out again an put more in. Again they died. After speaking with other landscapers turns out since my soil in parts of my yard is horrible, a supplement of some sort should have been mixed in to make it viable soil. These guys have no clue. Now they are blaming my weekly gardener saying he should have done this and that, when in fact the only instructions they gave my gardener was a watering schedule which he followed. So bottom line is I am out $2000+, have a higher than normal water bill (I had been hand watering, babying these plugs), and have a back yard that looks like hell.

I contacted this company for an estimate, a rep responded and sent me a non-detailed ball park estimate. I responded and told him to please send me more detailed information and estimate regarding the work I requested. It's been 2 weeks, and I have yet to hear back. Apparently, this company does not need the business, I'll look elsewhere.
