I was given Mark's number from a friend. I made an appointment with Mark the next day, and he came at the time we scheduled. Another plumber had come a couple of days before with a snake and tried to remove the clog, but could not and said he would have to go under the house to change pipe. It seemed expensive and perhaps unnecessary. I said I would think about it. That's when I started calling my friends for advice and got Mark's number.
I explained to Mark that another plumber had already come and wanted to change pipe and he immediately asked do you live in an old house and explained the old traps are tight and a lot of plumbers don't know how to deal with them. (There is also the possibility of the first plumber trying to just pretend he couldn't clear the drain, because his snake looked identical to Marks.) Mark came cleared three drains for half the price that the first plumber wanted for one drain. We have another plumbing issue and Mark gave us advice that will save us at least $500, if not much more. My brother was being told he would have to do some expensive work that we now understand is completely unnecessary. He doesn't try and won't do other plumbing work, because he is a drain specialist, so you don't have to worry about him trying to get you to do other unnecessary work.
He is super friendly, punctual, honest, and won't try to get you to do anything other than your drains. I highly recommend him.

Called yesterday morning because of first floor toilet and garage washing machine drain backing up flooding. Mark responded my frantic call and was at our home that same morning. The main sewer line was cleared quickly and everything was functional again. Mark took the time to explain what caused the backup and how to prevent it in the future. Great job Mark! In the morning we had a clogged toilet that wouldn't clear. Within a few hours all the toilets were starting to gurgle and back up, then the water from my daughters bath wasn't draining. It was clear we were in trouble. It is a week-end, and we are a family of four, so I was pretty freaked out. These guys have great reviews, so I called and left a message. Mark was quick to call back, and they were out within the hour. They were cheerful, efficient, and reasonably priced--esp considering it was a week-end. After they finished clearing the main line, they checked all the toilets twice to make sure everything was working properly. They let me know what things should never go down the toilets to prevent any future issues. Would recommend these guys in a heartbeat!

My main drain line was backed up this morning and Mark and Sam were able to come out within an hour of me calling and take care of it for me while my wife was at home. He gave us a lesson on what to flush and what not to flush down the drain. Told us how to avoid scams in the future with other plumbing companies. He even brought in our empty trash bins as a courtesy. They were in and out within 30 minutes and fixed everything up. They did an amazing job and I would recommend these guys to everyone.
