Robert came on time and was incredibly efficient and kind. I felt so at ease with him in my house doing this work. A few weeks later this was an issue and I called Economy Rooter to ask them to come back. Sevdet the woman who answered the phone was incredibly accommodating! When George came to see what the problem was he fixed it quickly, and even though the problem was unrelated to the work they had done previously, George made the repair and did not charge me for the visit. I cannot express how wonderful this company is in doing their job and treating their customers as humans.

Purchased a water heater through Lowes and George who is the owner of Economy Rooter showed up to do a pre-installation estimate. From the moment he showed up, he looked exhausted (this is 11:30am) and didn't appear to want to look at the crawl space. He kept saying the installation will be difficult and very costly. He only pointed the flash light at the crawl space where he had to run the copper. To keep the story short, his estimate was $1000 more than what Lowes had estimated. I asked Lowes to get me a another plumber. I had the job completed and saved $700 over this outfit. This is a company that likes to get rich quick...big scammers. Everything I asked him seems to cost money and sounded very hard.

I am giving them 4 stars for the quality of the service, but 0 on integrity. Whether you want to do business with them (and in turn Lowes), it is up to your own judgment. I first received a reasonable quote through Lowes; Lowes subcontracts their water heater installation to Economy Rooter. A gentleman came to my house to install the new water heater, immediately said the existing water heater touching the gas pipe is a problem and he would not do the installation. And he gave me a bunch of reasons and additional services needed, totaling $485. I asked for a breakdown between parts and labor. He said I have to contact the office. For the next 2 weeks, I tried to contact both Lowes and Economy Rooter for a breakdown of parts and labor, so I can assess the fairness of the additional charges, to no avail. Economy Rooter told me the only person who knows the details was in Brazil because his daughter was sick, and he would not be back for another month at least. Finally I gave in and decided to go through the service without knowing the breakdown. The contractor came, installed the water heater, but with the water heater touching the gas pipe. I told him the last contractor from his company said it was a problem. He said it would not be a problem. After the installation, I called Economy Rooter's office to ask why they had conflicting messages and in the end part of the reason for the extra charges was no longer valid with the new water heater again touching the gas pipe. The lady at Economy Rooter said she had to contact the person who did the installation, but unfortunately there was a death with a friend or relative in Mexico and he was out of touch and she did not know how long it would take. And after another 2 weeks of phone calls to Lowes and Economy Rooter, nothing happened. There was no follow up even though they promised. At this point, it is pretty clear that those were excuses hoping that the customers would not go back to inquire on the questionable charges and marginally ethical practice. The sad fact is, it works on most people who have a full time job. You can run a very profitable business with these practices. Future customers, beware!

They are super professional and experienced! We had water softener, filtration system installed, and water pipe redone. I had three separate appointment and each time they showed up on time and finished the job on time. Price is reasonable. Thank you Kevin, Manuel, Robert.

Economy rooter is a very profession company. I called them in a cold weather with running out of the water for almost a week. They assigned Someone to check and fix it next day ! Yah! We have hot water ! The technician's name is George , super nice and helpful! Definitely a Recommend!

For the installation of my water heater, Lowes contracted Economy Rooter. They installed my water heater on 8/10/17. Today, their installation FAILED to pass INSPECTION. I have to miss another day of work, and pay additional money to have the city inspector return a 2nd time once Economy Rooter returns to fix what they didn't do correctly. I am unhappy with Lowes's service (another review) and very disappointed with Economy Rooter. Am considering taking them to Small Claims Court. If you want good products and the job done right the 1st time, do not let Economy Rooter do the work and do not buy from Lowes.

Kevin showed up on time. He nicely explained all my questions and did a very organized and detailed job. I am a very picky person but look at his work, I can totally live with that, thumbs up. The installation went well and took him about 3 hours under soaking hot weather. After that, he even cleaned up my garage a bit, everything is looking awesome now.
