Alex at Economy Rooter and the staff scheduling person were terrific to work with. Excelled in plumbing craftsmanship for a new sink and piping - very careful and detailed to remove existing faucet, clean it and reattaching perfect order - careful attention to detail. Pricing was reasonable. Showed up on time and used gloves, masks and booties for shoes.

We had new toilet installed by Economy Rooter. The technician showed up on time and took care of the job in a very time efficient manner, making sure there was no mess with the old toilet and no water leaks when he removed it. Tech installed the new toilet and cleaned up everything behind him leaving us with great experience. Would highly recommend Economy Rooter for their great job!!

Hoping this review finds you well. We had Economy Rooter install a new toilet in the master bathroom and take away the old toilet. Jose, the service tech, was efficient, courteous, and finished the job without any issues. I have dealt with other plumbers in the city and I wouldn't waste your time. Thank you Jose and to Economy Rooter for the great job. WE LOVE OUR NEW TOILET! - Nick & Becky

I had a new AO Smith water heater installed in February 2020 that had an internal leak; This water heater was purchased at Lowe's. My home insurance sent a plumber who assessed the water heater was at fault.
The defective water heater was replaced by Lowe's and installed by Lowe's contractor Economy Rooter. The installer that came to my home was very professional, courteous and has done a very good job.
The only problem was that when the water heater was installed, the drain pipe changed the angle and instead of having a slope, as before, it had an angle that pushed the water towards the water heater tray. The furnace condensation drain pipe was also connected to the drain pipe from the water heater. As a result of changing the slope, the condensation from the furnace was draining in the water heater tray and created an overflow.
I had a video call with the furnace installer (furnace was installed last year) and he saw the problem immediately.
Economy Rooter was called last Thursday and after a lot of hassle they agreed to send another technician to my place. This Asian-American guy had a terrible attitude, treated me with disrespect (obviously he doesn't respect women) and was making sarcastic comments every time I tried to explain to him what the furnace installer stated.
The technician caped the pipe to determine where the water was coming from, though I already knew the issue at hand, as explained by the furnace technician. They suggested that pipes were decoupled and the furnace would have a separate pipe.
Economy Rooter owner demanded another $125 for this visit though they were paid $1200 for the install. It is absolutely ridiculous.
I was assured they would come back this Monday to fix the water heater drain. They never did and after numerous calls to them, I decided to get a different plumber to finish the job.

I did not have a good experience with Economy Rooter. They are used by Lowe's as an installer for water softeners. I purchased the water softener from Lowe's and was told the installation cost would be no more than $299 but an installer would come for an estimate. Economy Rooter scheduled an ""estimate"" with me with a 3 hour window of time of which I waited until the end of the window to call and was informed their truck had broken down and they would reschedule for later that week. Then they ""no-showed"" again for the 2nd appointment and when I called, I was told their scheduler called in sick so they didn't know who was on their schedule that day. I would have appreciated communication. My time is valuable too. The installer said I could just send him pictures of the existing water softener and he returned an estimate of over $600 including $130 charge for a $17 hose sold at Lowe's and a $150 charge to dispose of the old water softener which is listed as a free service on the Lowe's website, but is only $50 charge at the dump. Lowe's and this installer need to get on board with each other to quote people the same price and services offered. Needless to say, I returned the water softener to Lowe's and did not use this installer. I bought one instead at Home Depot and used a different plumber. Honesty and transparency is important and my time is valuable. I would never use someone who does not feel the need to keep his/her customers updated to delays in plans nor someone who charges a ridiculous fee to use inexpensive items.

This company is honest and reliable. Alex was great. He and his team fixed the bathroom toilet and installed a cleanout in the front yard. Would highly recommend. Better quote and recommendations than EJ Plumbing.

Not a great experience with this company. They were the plumber of choice from Lowe's to install my water heater. I should have known from the beginning as the tech didn't install it correctly. It wasn't until the water heater started flowing with water (the first time) that I found out. Fast forward a few years and I called economy rooter in an emergency bc the water heater was flowing water again. Unfortunately, I didn't remember it was the same company who installed it initially. I've had them out a few times in the last couple weeks. Each time the work is done quickly, not tested to make sure everything is ok before leaving, resulting in a call back for them to fix whatever they didn't do the first time. The first tech told me the part I needed, drained the water heater then left. I went to check and the heater and was pouring water again. The tech didn't complete the job. Tried calling Economy Rooter several times leaving voicemail messages letting them know the urgency. I finally got a hold of someone THE NEXT DAY and was told how busy they are, forget that my water was draining all night long. Then when they installed the part, to no surprise, left me with another issue. These people don't care about the service they provide but happy to take your money. Hundreds of dollars wasted here. It took a lot but I've finally given up on them and decided to go with someone else. I strongly advise not using this company for your plumbing needs. I'm removing their sticker from my water heater so I don't make this mistake again. And will make a mental note when working with Lowe's. Quick and dirty is their motto.

These people are rude. Will never do business with them. When it comes to customer service they are complete trash.

Lowe's assigned Economy Rooter to help in installing the garbage disposal. Shout out to Jose Gonsales for doing an excellent job . He inspected the Garbage disposal unit we had purchased from Lowe's and found it was leaking. So he made a trip to get it replaced and installed it very professionally.
I would very highly recommend him for any kind of plumbing job. He thorough and very professional.
Thank you Jose Gonsales .. You are awesome.

We went to Lowe's for our heater replacement and were refered to Economy Rooters for the install. Ms. Sevdet is an professional and friendly person. I called her at 11:45 pm in the night to leave a voicemail to come next day but to my surprise she answered my call and set up the appointment. She got the install done next day as we were without hot water. Kevin came and explained to us what we need to do to bring everything upto code. It cost us alot of money to change the water heater but we were satisfied with the service we got. I hsve tefered my neighbors and friends to Economy Rooters. Very nice people to work with.
Thank you Ms. Sevdet. Sonia
