My water heater stopped working and leaking, and they were nice to squeeze us into same day appointment. The water heater was busted but still under warranty. They kindly looked around for a replacement model for us. Everyone has been very helpful. Highly recommended!

Update 2/16: Lowe's gave me $85 back after I raised the issue to Lowe's corporate office. But the local Lowe's store did not handle the issue correctly. Instead of going after Eco Rooter to fix the scam, they gave me $80 discount on the water heater ($87.99 with tax). So the scam goes on ...

My water heater leaked and Economy Rooter sent Michael out to trouble-shoot and fix the problem. It turned out the tank needed to be replaced so Michael got one, installed it and did what was necessary to bring that water heater area up to code.Of course he drained the tank and there was a ton of calcium deposit that came out. Michael additionally installed a carbon filter so that the sediment would be kept to a minimum in the future.
Michael was very thorough and took care to make sure I was satisfied with the work done. He was a wonderful service person and represented Economy Rooter well.
Unfortunately, it took the company 5 days to find and install a replacement tank due to an overload of work. That was an extremely long time to go without hot water in the house. But I would call them again and ask for Michael if I have any future plumbing needs. Highly recommend them.

Bought a sink, faucet, water filter and disposal from Lowe's 5/15/15. Michael removed and installed all the items. Everything still in place and works. Only paid a bit extra for an angle inline stop valve. He let me know cost before install. Thanks!

I paid diagnosis fee and they find the surface igniter might not work so I replace that one. But the water heater still does not work. I call them again then they ask to charge again!! It does not make any sense. Why do I need to cover your problem? Also they keep saying they are busy and do not response to my request. Totally waste time and money!!!!

I didn't think they would be able to come out and help me today but they did! I have a water heater that was installed in Jan. of this year and it wasn't working. I thought the pilot was out and figured I just call PG&E to relit it for me. Well, they came & said it was actually a problem with the water heater, the pilot was on. At least it was under warranty but I felt I couldn't call the plumber (these guys) until I got the part that needed to be replaced. I did call yesterday to explain my problem & they said to call when I got it. So I called back today but they were busy & said they'd see what they could do, at the latest, it would be Saturday because of the holiday. bummer! I called some of the other companies that would handle the warranty problem they were all booked up until next week. I called back to see if I could set up an appointment for Sat. but got very, very lucky that someone could come today. I think I got the best plumber ever! Michaels showed up very quickly and he was able to take care of the problem right away. I am so happy I will have hot water again as I'd been without almost all week! Michael is so knowledgeable and explained what is causing the problem, what the best solution would be and I plan to use these guys again to take care of this and any other future problems I may have because I was very, very impressed with his work. Very awesome people! I am so glad they were able to take care of me so fast and finally I am ending this year on a good note. thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

If I could give this business 10, I would. I wanted to change out one of my toilets to the newer style. Not knowing who to call to install it, I decided to call Lowe's, purchase an in-stock, high quality toilet, have Lowe's install it, pay for it over the phone, and set up an installation date.
I was impressed from the time I opened the door. He immediately put on paper booties to keep from getting the carpet or flooring dirty.
He laid out a mat on the floor and began his work. He was meticulous. When he left there wasn't one speck of dirt or spot of water on the floor. I was very impressed.
If you order any kind of plumbing work to be done through Lowe's, be sure to let the install department know you want Economy Rooter as the company to do the work. I don't think you'll be sorry.

Called for clogged toilets. From start to finish, customer service was great. Kevin and John were very professional. They called ahead to let me know when they would arrive. Arrived right on schedule. First time calling this company and very good experience.

I bought a water heater from Lowe's and Economy Rooter was dispatched to do the installation. For installing the water heater, I would give Kevin and his assistant five stars: They were courteous, respectful, and on-time.
However, everything went downhill from there.
In the next couple of days, I saw my water pressure wane, as Kevin said it might. So, as he suggested, I called up Economy Rooter to have someone come take a look at it. I scheduled an appointment for a Wednesday morning; no one came. I waited well past the scheduled window and then gave them a call. They said they had installed new computers and didn't have my contact info to let me know that they were not going to be able to make it. Fine, I get it. Things happen. We rescheduled for the following Wednesday morning. Same thing happened: They were no-shows. I called again, and asked to speak to the manager.
I reported to Sevdet what has been going on--the low pressure, the missed appointments (and, hence, my missed work)--and asked what she will do about it. She proceeded to yell at me, interrupting everything I tried to say. When she again blamed a computer glitch, she said something about how my paperwork was with the person who was sent out to do the call and so she had no way of contacting me. When I mentioned that a low-tech solution (copy the paperwork to keep at home base before you send out your repair people), she yelled back that she cannot be responsible for such things.
She agreed to send one of her lead techs, George, later that day to diagnose what was going on. George was terse; took a look at the tap; declared, ""Your water pressure is low""; and then said there was nothing he could do. When I asked if he could look under the sink or at the hook-up done by his colleague to see if anything was amiss, he looked annoyed. He glanced at the water heater, but nothing else. When I asked what else could be done, he proceeded to take a tone and raise his voice, much as Sevdet did.
He left in a huff, saying I needed to call the office to make an appointment for Kevin to come back and look at it. I called. They said that Sevdet would need to approve the appointment, but that she was out of the office. I called the next day and was told she was out. I called again only to be told she was on vacation. I called back on her presumed return date. She immediately knew who I was and said that she had people at her office who needed her help and that she would not be sending anyone out.
I called Lowe's to report all of this. They sent out another firm (All Valley). Samm took a look at things, back flushed the faucet, and it's working just fine now.
Bottom line: If you like dealing with people who will give you the run-around, yell at you for their own mistakes, and then refuse to help you, Economy Rooter is your kind of company.

Economy Rooter performed excellent service in our home. George replaced two toilets, three faucets and three sinks He was very professional and clean. We would highly recommend him for his good work and good customer service.
