Company Overview

Economy Plumbing Services is the leading plumbing solutions provider in Marble Falls, delivering top-notch and long-lasting solutions for both domestic and business plumbing issues. We believe in completing the job correctly on the first attempt. Many plumbers out there merely apply temporary fixes to your issues and move on. We are not that type of company. We discover the source of the problem and address it, saving you both time and money.

Economy Plumbing Services was established with the goal of providing outstanding service at a fair price. We are a certified, insured, family-owned business. Economy Plumbing Services exists today because we recognized a demand in the Austin plumbing market for focused, customer-oriented plumbing services.

We have all heard the bad stories about hiring the well-known companies and the fly-by-night 'handymen'. Steer clear of adding your story to that list: reach out to Economy Plumbing today.

Sean spent time as a service technician for a somewhat successful company in the Austin area before seizing the chance to establish his own plumbing business. Economy Plumbing Services was born from a desire to properly diagnose and fix the plumbing challenges faced by Austinites. Our main goal is to fix the plumbing issue accurately on the first try, at the most affordable price possible.

Sean's primary role in the business today is problem-solving: he possesses a distinct sense of curiosity. He wants to understand what is causing the issue, and he wants to see it fixed. He also wants to see the customer smile when their plumbing issue has been solved.

We have used Economy Plumbing a few times before and we are always pleased with the explanations, the price, the quality of the work, that they show up when they say they will, the care they take when they are in the house, and the clean up. When we needed a new water heater we got an estimate from Economy and two other estimates, which were 30-40% higher for the same unit. it's been installed and is working great - I can now take a hot shower.

Micheal from Economy Plumbing is excellent, he is fast, friendly, and does top notch work. He replaced one toilet and fixed the water cut off valve in one restroom and reseated the master bathroom toilet. As a bonus he fixed our the shower controller. You can go wrong with Economy Plumbing.

This is a rental. Agreed with Economy Plumbing Services the job for 4/13 btw 11.00am - 3.00pm. The plumber came at 2pm, quoted the job, confirmed, he is ready to start after I make the payment. Unfortunatelly, I did so. Right after the payment, he called the office, that he is starting the job, but the office asked him to go somewhere else and left - after I made the payment. The plumber was licensed, seemed capable, ready for the job. Call the office to schedule again. They scheduled for 4/14 2pm-6pm. I confirmed it with the tenant. On 4/14, they called me they can come after 6.00pm, than again after 6.30pm, for a 3 hour job, on Friday evening. I wanted to reschedule again, as tenant have evening programs, I can not expect him to be with the plumbers at 9.30pm on a Friday. Called them 20 times, they did not pick up the phone. I texted to cancel, than I get messages, that I am unreasonable, and I should be happy that they do not charge extra for after hours work....after I wasted half a day as well as they screwed up the next day as well.

Very poor communication. Avoid them.

I required a plumber to repair the water valve under the sink before my new dishwasher could be installed. Since they were already at the house, I asked them to install the dishwasher. They quoted me a price over $300. When I asked why it was so expensive (over $200 more than home depot), they told me it was because I was paying for a licensed plumber to install the dishwasher. I was dismayed but went ahead with the installation since I had already had to take time off work, and I didn't want to take time off again to have someone else come back a different day. The installer was very nice and told me everything was all set. The next day I did a load of dishes, and the dishwasher fell out of the space under the counter because it had been installed incorrectly and not bolted into place. I called and requested a partial refund since now they had to come out again, and I was again missing work (which was the reason I had agreed to their high installation fee in the first place, to avoid missing more work). I was told they would pass my request to management and that I would hear back in a few days. This week, I saw that the kickplate underneath the dishwasher had fallen off, what I attribute to poor/incorrect installation since nothing odd or traumatic had happened. I realized it had been over two weeks since I had requested a partial refund and that "management" had not responded to my claim. I again emailed asking for a full refund this time since the kickplate on the dishwasher had fallen off (those things must last more than two weeks, right?) and it would take another visit to repair it. I received an email that said my request had been reviewed and denied. I feel cheated, not only because of $300+ dollars I paid for the incorrect dishwasher repair, but for the $500 I lost in not being able to work so they could install the dishwasher twice, and now for the kickplate falling off. Don't use this company.

Having Economy plumbing arrive my business to unclog a sewer line, was given an estimate for $577, which I reluctantly agreed to. The plumber attempted, but ultimately advised he could not get the line clear & suggested a company for me to call to dig under the building, stating he felt the line was damaged, and that economy would return, after the trenching to repair the line at a cost of around $2700 in addition to what the digging company charges. I never saw him use a camera to inspect the line, just diagnosing the "damaged" line on what he felt was some sludge coming out of the line.
I paid him and he left me with a still clogged line.
Today I had another local company come out & clear the line after 1.5 hours total at a fraction of the cost of Economy. But they did email me a coupon for $50 off the next time I want them to come out & not repair what I call them for. Don't worry. Wont be a next time.

Wow the guy that Economy sent out didn't even have tools with him!!!

We called for a hot water heater that wasn't heating up the water. The water heater is 8 years old and has a faulty thermocouple. The technician started giving us quotes to replace the water heater. I asked him ok what did you find wrong with it. He said "it don't work". I said I know that, that's why we called you. He said "yeah so it's $3000-$4000 to replace it. I said why replace it he said again "it don't work". I said "you know it's just a thermocouple right"? He said we can replace the burner assembly for $1400. I said why replace all of that if there's just one faulty part? At that point I lost all hope in him and his company and told him to leave. I also said "HAVE A NICE DAY RIPPING PEOPLE OFF!!!"
