Faced with a clogged main sewer line and a flooding basement, was referred to Econo Sewer by Petri Plumbing (the weather had them backlogged). Called and got an immediate response, they took down my info and gave me a window later in the afternoon when their tech could show. Econo called me back in a half hour saying that their tech could show earlier. The guy got there, asked me if I knew what the fee was, which I didn't and he told me the flat fee for the job which was less expensive than I thought. He was very courteous and took care of the problem immediately. Excellent Job!!! I can't say enough about this level of service.

Thank you Bernard and Larry (#52 and 26, if I'm not wrong). Both of you have been our Santa on the eve of Christmas. We can't thank you enough not only for you great service but for your jovial and amicable nature. Our restaurant drain was clogged and after hearing despairing answers from all the companies, they came to our rescue. Cleared the problem in about an hour. It was a lot of work but they did it all without complaining. Definitely calling them back when we will have any sewage problems in future.

Can't speak for their service because 20 minutes after my appointment time, no one had shown up. I called and they wanted me to wait another 20 minutes. I told them when I made the appointment that I do not live at the property and that if they were going to be delayed to please text me. I don't like rushing to my property only to wait at least 40 minutes. I called another company. I don't think it's good business to make a customer wait without telling them.

Very disappointed with professionalism, called for service and was told they were sending someone over, I waited two hours and no one ever showed up. I called back and never reached anyone, left messages and no response. Not the way to do business.

I had a blocked kitchen drain pipe that I spent an entire Saturday snaking myself to no avail. I was pulling up some nasty gunk, but I just couldn't get it all out. So when I woke up on Sunday with a stiff back, I threw in the towel and called these guys upon a reco from Plumber Mike in Park Slope.

Econo Sewer are the real deal when it comes to clearing drains. They finished up a job in Manhattan and two pros, Ray and Mike, were at my house within an hour of my calling. They quickly checked out the situation, pulled in the big equipment and within 30 mins they had completely cleared my kitchen drain, and knocked out a slow upstairs shower drain, to boot!

Fast, friendly, and super reasonable- esp. for coming out so quick on a Sunday. Oh, and the 90-day guarantee and taking credit cards on the spot, was a major plus in my book, too. I will definitely use them again if I ever have an issue with other drains. Done.

I had a blockage in my sewer line on Saturday, 5/4/13. I called Roto-Rooter at about 11:15 pm. They said they'll send someone within 2 hours to provide a free estimate. The dispatchers indicated they couldn't give me an estimate until the plumber checks the pipes. In 3 minutes they called to let me know they can't come until 8am - 10am on Sunday, 5/5/13. Thank God for that pause in time! I checked Yelp for reviews on Roto-Rooter and they were horrible. I discovered that Econo-Sewer had consistently good reviews. I called Econo-Sewer at 8:35am and received a call back from Ed who said someone should arrive by 10:30am. By 10:23am Mike arrived. He checked two traps, cleared the pipe going in and out the house and was done before 11:30am. He reinstalled the basement tub drain stopper that I took off on Saturday. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!! They are no nonsense with reasonable prices.

Completely honest and affordable. This is my second time using Econo-Sewer, after having a very good first experience with Ed. We called on Christmas Holiday weekend where Ed immediately picked up, promising to come to the house next day, on a SUNDAY, day before Xmas eve. That Ed provided rapid expert service on a holiday schedule, and at no extra charge, made me want to give 10 stars here. We were extremely happy and grateful to have the second toilet working again for our overnight guests arriving from out of town to celebrate with us..

Ed was awesome. Timely, efficient, and clean.

I called him last night after spending my entire Saturday waiting for another company that didn't show. I stressed that timeliness was an issue for me, and he promised that I would be his first appointment at 9am. This morning he called at 9am, saying the truck was on it's way, and by 9:30am he was unclogging my bathtub drain. I paid by credit card, and he emailed me a receipt to give to my landlord. Not only that, he cleaned up everything and made sure not to leave my bathroom a mess.

I am quickly learning that a good plumber is hard to find. Econo Sewer is definitely a great service that I would recommend to anyone.
