Best service Coos County has to offer!
fast, efficient, economical and courteous.
My new home had a main sewer problem and these folks had my back.
The service person was courteous and very fast and efficient.
I can recommend this company with full confidence that they will excel in the work they do for you.

I called them yesterday for a drain blockage. Young Isaac arrived this morning, studied the situation, searched for the clean-out (we don't have one), moved the toilet so he could run the big snake down and really clear things out. Compared to the other guys (I won't name them), who just came in last year with a little snake and ran it down the shower, far superior. I'll call Econo-Rooter again, if we need help.

We called and they said they could not do the rooting of our sewer pipe. That makes them not in the business they advertise.

We have tried several other local rooting services and a plumber and they cannot clear the sewer pipe. They each say that they even have a camera system to help, but it has always been unavailable. Costs have been several thousand dollars. Some of the workers worked hard, but it was the good old fashioned grunt and be unfriendly without any application of modern methods.

ok, we had used Econo when the prior owner was there and was not all that happy with the service and add-ons so had switched to Roto... but my contact there left so.... thought I'd try them again (cringe) BUT under new management, these guys are A+/#1.... great service, the technician (BJ Hussey) was very efficiient, personable and did a great job AND cleaned up afterwards. AWESOME! Use Em! Support the new owners!

I had two clogged sinks which caused me much stress not being able to wash dishes and do bathroom necessities. I called Econo Rooter and spoke to Pam who was very informative, professional and friendly. Austin came out to my home actually within minutes and solved the problem quickly. He also checked my septic tank as well as unclogged my drains. Austin was also very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I am very impressed with the people in this company and the service was exemplary. I now know who to call for help with my septic system and household drainage problems. Awesome job!!

Our septic tank backed up this weekend, but they came out Monday morning - exactly on time - and got the job done promptly and efficiently. They even had to locate the dang thing, since the previous owners had given us the wrong location. Travis was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I was impressed by the service we received!

More expensive than my regular plumber for their visit. Cost over $200 and they did not fix the problem. We had to call another service out. Very disappointing!

Warning! Beware of Econo Rooter.
This was my experience. I was working in Washington, live in Oregon. My wife called to tell me the toilet was clogged. She called Econo Rooter. They came out, went to the clean out under the deck. Said they could not remove the plug. My wife called me at work and at this point I knew I was getting robbed. I told my wife they were lying and tell them to leave the property. She was desperate and wanted to see if they could unplug the toilet. They told my wife that they had to dig up the back yard and go into the pipe to see what was going on. They said they thought roots had ruined the line and a camera needed to be ran up the sewer line. They never once tried to unplug the toilet which was the original request. They fixed nothing, charged me $500.00, left my wife without the means to use the toilet and said ""I guess you are up shit creek"". We found out they ran & cashed the check at our bank immediately. What kind of reputable company does this, normal business practice the check is turned in! I drove 9 hours one way to come home, went to True Value, rented a snake and had the toilet unplugged in 5 minutes. No problems since. 2 workers at True Value had the same experience. I called multiple times, was told the owner would return my call but never did. In my opinion, the business should be called Econo Robbery.

First a philosophical question: Should a rant be called a rant when you truly did not receive service for what you paid for? This is a long ""Didn't Receive What I Paid For"" non-rant!

I always try and shop local and support local businesses. I feel disheartened that I won't use this local company or recommend them in the future. I'd encourage you to look to the other two companies if you have a need for this service or if you use this company - have terms and charges spelled out very clearly before work begins including who is responsible if they break something. Do not trust them to write down the truth or to back up their service. Protect yourself. I sure will next time!

April 2019: I live in Coquille and I called to have my septic checked because my toilet downstairs kept clogging up and to have the toilet unclogged. When this same company (that was great 6 years ago when I used them) came out before they had to use the clean-out box outside by the septic and I gave them this message when I scheduled.

Two guys came out and one began to try and unclog the toilet while the other went outside and dug out the clean-out box without waiting to see if it was necessary. Found out later that this is usually another charge beyond the hourly rate. (He uncovered/dug the box we did not.) They couldn't get enough water flow so without asking they turned on the shower and the sink. The guy inside had the top off the toilet and was messing around in the tank and I ask what was happening and he told me he was trying to get more water flow. I explained that we did not have great water pressure in the house and then I looked over and the sink was ready to overflow! I turned it off.

He shut the shower off and finally got the toilet unplugged from inside. My son and I went outside to talk with the main guy. We have a metal lid to the septic and he was using a small screw driver and pry bar to try and get it off. My son had to go and get our larger screwdriver and hammer so he could break up the grass around the lid and get if off.

Since it hadn't taken long to unclog the toilet I asked him if there would be an extra charge for cleaning the sink drain because it has always ran slow and we had a bit of the hour charge left. He said no problem since they didn't have to snake the toilet or clean out the clean-out box they could do it. He also told me that this would normally be an additional charge but he'd do me a favor.

He set the other guy to snake the sink and while doing this broke the pipe in two places. With the pipe now broken he couldn't finish clearing the sink drain. But on the report he wrote that they snaked it 5 to 10'. When they left there was water and mud from his boots all over the floor. I told them to go and I'd clean it up.

When the main guy wrote up the incident he said that we had dug out the clean-out box and that the sink was broken prior to their arrival! (I had to sign their paper when they arrive so my signature was already on there!) He also charged me an extra 15 min but hey, he gave me a 10% discount.

After they left the house my son had to turn on the water to the toilet because someone in the whole process it had gotten shut off.

That night I had a training at my house - no one used the toilet - and when we opened the door at 9:00 p.m. the entire bathroom was flooded. It took every towel in the house to sop it up. We had to turn the water off because the guy had messed with the float and the overflow valve was installed originally too high and water flowed out the handle.

I called the septic service the next day beginning at 7:30 to catch them before they were assigned out. I just wanted them to stop by and show me how to adjust the float since it wasn't the old ball float. I was on hold for quite a while she conferred with the two guys who had been here. She then told me she'd worked there for a year and never had a call like this and proceeded to read me what they had written on my invoice. I called again around 9:00 when they hadn't called back or showed up to the house. My son called to see where they were and I called again and got the same schpeel and was then put on hold. The owner Joel picked up the line and I went through it all again and said I don't know how to adjust the float and just wanted them to come adjust it or show me how. 15 min of customer service - and did I mentioned I paid $200 to have my sink broken and my bathroom flooded!!!

Joel kept referring back to what the guys had written down and later to the 'other' report not given to the customer. They would not listen to me but took as gospel what they guys had written. (A little CYA going on.) The guys claimed that my sink pipe was already broken! If that was the case the cardboard box that has set under it for 10 years would have been soaked not counting the floor would have been flooded because the pipe was broken completely off! Not a little hole but broken it two places because of the rough handling of

Awful experience. The people lied to us multiple times. Way over charged from what was quoted without telling us. Not friendly interactions. I would never reccomend them and will never use them again!
