IF YOU SEE THIS COUPON IN THE MINT RUN FAR AWAY I called around 9 am for a drain cleaning since the deal was $99. I had to wait until 4 pm before the tech (Joe) finally showed up and then he proceed to bang around in my tub for an hour. Joe said that no progress had been made and then told me to continue working he would charge $95 an hour. Then out of nowhere he packed up his tools and left claiming he was """"done"""" and was refused to work any longer. He left shortly after without claiming any pay and when I went into my bathroom to see what happened he had left my tub in awful disarray and had broken my Bathtubs trip lever and cover effectively breaking it. I immediately dialed the Econo Rooter number and talked to Steve about this, he told me he would escalate my case to Larry. Larry then cussed me out worse than a sailor and said he'd take me to court for refusing to pay Joe then hung up on me. I've tried to explain that he left without taking his pay but Larry was not listening. I've tried to call back but Steve immediately hangs up on me upon answering. This is the worst plumber I've ever had in my life. If it was possible to rate 0 STARS then I would in a heartbeat. Please save yourselves the aggravation and find a better plumber.

I would NEVER use this company if I were you. What was a minor kitchen sink blockage turned into a nightmare thanks to damage done by the plumber to the drain from my washer. The kitchen and washer drain are tied together and that damage has caused a slab leak into my house when the washer drains. I can't even use it now. The plumber kindly wrote up an estimate of over $1000.00 to fix it before he left. Really? When I called the office the next morning to discuss the problem, the person answering wouldn't even give me the manager or owner's name and said he would have someone call me. The man who did return my call did not even identify himself and was rude and talking over me. No apology, no willingness to discuss at all, just their steadfast repetition that they are not responsible for damages. I confess I had to disconnect the call I was so outraged with his treatment of me. Two days later I get a copy of the invoice in the mail in a handwritten envelope (no return address by the way.) All the portions of it saying """"they are not responsible for any damage, etc"""" were highlighted. I don't think signing any waiver or invoice before they will even start work absolves them of being careful and considerate of the customer's property. Basically, what my impression from the whole experience is a """"too bad, so sad"""" attitude. Lesson learned.

I will never refer this company to anyone as long as they are in business. For starters I called them to unclog a routine blockage that occurs in my home about every two years , when they arrived I showed the guy where to snake it out and explained that it has been done there every other time with great success then he proceeded to tell me that he was going to run it from the outside to the septic. Well after he realized that drain was clear he ran it partway under the Home billed me almost $200 and said it's cleared. The next morning the drain backed up again I called as it was under warranty another guy came out told me he can't run the drain I specifically asked the other man to do unless I pay a new line fee of $129 I called the company and another gentleman got on the phone and shouted me down and told me they both did their jobs and he was a master plumber and me being the homeowner didn't know what I was talking about in reference to the drain I wanted cleaned so to make matters worse the hole they dug in my flower bed to run the snake they cut a 1 1/2 foot long hole into my drain line then covered it with a price a torn off paper then filled the hole I'm assuming because they were mad . I'm just glad I was smart enough to dig it up and double check the line but it's ok I actually have the guy on video doing it so jokes on him , I did end up calling Metro Rooter and they came out and took care of the problem with no push back and the young man helped repair the line outside at no extra charge. So I'm sorry for the long review but this is my short version I will never recommend them I should have let the pipe collapse outside then made them replaced it but I didn't want that fight either.

Run!!! If you're thinking of using this company!! They are irresponsible and will not give you any information including the name of their insurance company! Makes me wonder if they really have insurance like they advertise. They came into my home damaged walls and doorways and the owner wants to insist they had nothing to do with it! His tech that came out to do our service admitted to it, but the Owner says he's not responsible. The tech said now he had a reason to fire his helper because he was tired of the kid damaging things but the Owner says it's not his responsibility. The tech said """"I hope you won't hold this against the company"""" sounds like an admission to me, the Owner still insists it's not his responsibility. So I'd like to know what is his responsibility???!!!!

Econo-Rooter on Cocoa Ave., in Jacksonville, FL, has the absolute worst customer service imaginable. The man and woman who answer the phone are rude and hateful. I assume this is the owner and his wife. I asked for a time range for when a plumber would arrive at my house. I was informed that they could not give me a time range because every job is different, that they would call when they were headed my way. Even Comcast gives a time range for when to expect a technician. I couldn't wait all day, so I went to Lowe's to buy two new showerheads for the plumber to install, expecting to be called when a plumber was headed my way. He arrived at my house while I was at Lowe's without calling ahead. He arrived about an hour after I had called to ask for an ETA. Why didn't they tell me that someone would be at my house that soon? I called the business back to ask for the plumber to be sent back to my house. The owner started interrupting me. He told me to f*** off and hung up. I called back. He hung up again. I'm not the only customer who has had this unpleasant experience. Check the Yelp reviews for this business. Out of the 10 reviews that are posted, nine reviews gave the business a rating of one out of five stars. These nine people also complained about the deplorable customer service and the hateful attitude of the owner. This is the second time that I've called this business to request a plumber. The only reason I used them the first time is because a neighbor had recommended them. The owner was just as rude the first time that I used this business. The only reason I called them for service a second time is because the plumber they sent the first time was very nice and seemed to know what he was doing. I really hate to see small, independent businesses fail. However, I hope that this particular business fails as a result of the owners treating customers like trash.

my check bounced. they talked to us like we were yesterday's trash. used profanity. i went over at lunch break the next business day to pay for the bounced check and the office was closed for the afternoon. took off work the next morning to go back. the same day i paid them, they sent a certified letter to my house threatening to put a lean on my home after i paid them. they also charged me $45.00 extra for the check. do not use this company!!!! horrible people!!!

on July 6 Econo 2022 Rooter charged me $187 with a 30-day warranty for a drain blockage. On July 12 the blockage of the drainage recurred. On July 13 econo rooter did the cable/snake cleaning. on July 25 the blockage appeared for the third time. After numerous calls the service man from econo rooter arrived finally arrived on July 26. He was very rude and asking for another $187 even though their 30-day warranty policy is still effective. Then I called Econo Rooter office at 904-727-7008 for a clarification on the warranty of their work; my call was terminated after i gave out the property address. Then I made 8 phone calls ang got disconnected after I said hello. I then used my son's phone; I got confirmed by that lady that all my phone calls were hung up by her intentionally. So the office lady never bothered to listen to my case before she hung up on me. My tenant said that his experience with econo rooter serviceman is the worst experience he ever had.

HORRIBLE!!!!! I called and a very rude man with a thickest southern accent hang up on me when he didn't know the answer to my questions. I called again and he kept ignoring my calls. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Don't bother, there are hundreds of plumbing companies in Jax, don't waste your money and patience with this horrible one.

Zero stars if I could. They no showed for my appointment and when I called back they said I wasn't on the books even though I confirmed the day before. Dispatcher is an asshole.
