I have had various experiences with Econo Air over the past 14 years. They originally installed our entire central a/c-heating system in 2001 and did a great job. It took a long time for them to offer regular servicing of our system. I would call them every year to change the filter (in our heating system in the attic with access only by ladder), and it would take several calls to get that to happen. Eventually, they got better at offering this service. I believe they've done a good job of maintaining our equipment through the years. However, I also believe we paid for things that weren't necessary at the time. The service techs are big on ""up-selling"" what needs to be done. We were told for about 5 years that we had to ""fix"" our heater before it actually needed to be fixed (we waited until it stopped working). I know we've done work on the a/c unit that probably didn't need doing. The techs are all very nice and friendly, and they all seem competent. However, I would definitely get a second opinion on any large ""repairs"" or ""maintenance"" suggestions we receive in the future. Just like any work you do on your house, it's best to get 2-3 estimates from different people to compare prices and opinions. Overall, we've been happy with Econo Air, even though it's cost a lot to maintain our equipment using their services.

I've had nothing but excellent service from Econo Air. They installed a new heating and AC unit, along with replacing all of the air ducts several years ago. I've found that the work they do is high quality. In fact, other contractors who have seen their work in the attic have commented that whoever installed my heater did an excellent job. I especially appreciate the technicians Isidro Herrera (heating) and Jose (AC). They are great! My only complaint is that the mark-up on their replacement parts seems insanely high. I always have my heating & AC serviced every year to keep everything fine-tuned, but I've spent a small fortune on the upkeep. If they reduce their prices, I'd be a much happier customer and I'd give them 5 stars.

Alex came to do our AC maintenance today. He was great. Friendly and efficient. He also gave us a great deal on our compressor saver kit. We have been with Econo Air for about 3 years now and we couldn't be more satisfied with their work ethic.

Econo Air installed a whole new heating and air conditioning system in our Cypress home 7 years ago. We have had them out for regular check-ups and maintenance. Travis was here today and found a few issues of wear and tear. He explained what was wrong, and he suggested repairs in great detail. He did a great job and was extremely professional. He also went above and beyond, taking care of a wasp nest that was inside the compressor unit. Though we are disappointed in needing to replace parts on this relatively young system, we appreciate being able to get the work done by Travis right away. And they offered us a discount to ease the pain.

I've used Econo Air for over 14 years since they first installed our system and have always been pleased with the level of service and customer care provided. Brandon was our technician today and he was excellent: polite, courteous, knowledgeable and willing to explain the issues with the a/c problem in detail. He offered me three different options on repair depending on what my finances were today and managed to get the system running for what I think is a reasonable price. He has backed up the work and I know they will come out again should it not continue working. Just in time for the summer heat! We are now at 72 and cool inside.
