Adam W. and the rest of the crew worked quickly and diligently to install solar panels, and they did so with the upmost efficiency, courtesy, and neatness. It is no wonder Costco has selected Economic Air as it Lenox dealer for heat and air conditioning in our area.
Kathryn V.I first heard about this company through Costco. After reaching out via phone (you can also request a consultation online), Dylan from Econo Air came out to do an inspection/quote on my entire healing/cooling system. He was professional, honest, and easy to talk to, and answered my endless stream of questions. Making an appointment was a breeze and the services offered and pricing is competitive! After my consultation, I feel heard and at ease. Will definitely continue using this company.
Maricela Á.Very professional and knowledgeable.
Clear quick straight forward information. Wish they were a bit less expensive bc we want Econo Air to do our full AC replacement work.
Jon G.Top notch company and service. They have been servicing my A/C unit for years. When it came time to replace they were my first call. From start to finish I was very pleased with everything. There CEO actually came out to talk with me and my wife to look at what we had currently and explain all our options on new units and what was available. Our house has very little space in attic and heater closet. To say the least it was going to be a nightmare job. He was very confident and sure of the capabilities of his crew. The other 2 estimates and companies tried to change up everything and couldn't get us what we wanted. Amazingly enough pricing was great and right in line with our budget. We were currently in the middle of a heat wave and needed A/C NOW given the fact my wife worked from home. Scheduling was fast and they got us on the books fast. We went with a zoned system so this added a little complexity to the install. On day of install crew showed up on time with all there materials and ready to work. Very please with this. Crew was very polite and worked hard to get everything installed given there challenging work conditions in 100 degree weather. It took 2 days for the install, as they said and everything looks great. In the end it was a perfect job, house is cold, and wife is happy! #Priceless. They will always have my business moving forward.
Matt H.We've used Econo Air for years. Fast, reliable service times. Knowledgeable techs that explain everything in layman's terms. Give Econo Air a try.
Nina Jo S.They were very responsive and efficient when scheduling and completing the work. Unit works as advertised. They left a clean worksite.
However, eight months later, it hasn't passed inspection, and they seem to have completely dropped the ball in completing this very important stage of the job. I can't begin any new permitted work until this one passes inspection.
Coach P.I am sharing my recent unfortunate experience with Econo Air over the past 2 months.
On Friday March 3 2023, after 4 follow ups in between I was very surprised that I was informed that my compressor was on the verge of going out. My my diagnostic was on 12.16.22 and I was not made aware that my compressor was going out after putting in $$$ in my unit. I was not given all the information regarding my unit and was not able to make an informed decision was quite upsetting.
When I asked the technician, what was the reading for the compressor back in December, I was told there was no reading taken at that time, which lead me to move forward with the recommendations that were $$$ costly.
I am having a hard time accepting the fact why this information was not shared with me on 12.16.22 and now to fix the compressor on a heat pump, defrost board, new contacting relay, and control box, with an additional cost $7495 or a new unit at $14,000.
I am unclear what information should had been provided at my diagnostic. When I brought this up, I was provided 1 option that I need to decide by 3.15.23 for the company to make it right, which I would be given a credit towards a full replacement, which I am struggling because it puts me a position to have to stay with Econo Air, which after this incident and not having heat on two separate occasions in the last several months due to tech errors and a link from one of the new parts installed, I feel like I am being extorted.
Also, what really struct a nerve is when the last technician made a snarky comment regarding a choice regarding my older unit, which I felt uncalled for, which is why I am sharing my experience and also filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau.
Dan S.Today was the last day of our business with EconoAir. Our relationship started back like 15 (or even more) years ago. They installed the HVAC on top of the roof and since then we have not had many problems. Ocasional Freon adding, maintenance, replacing filters , etc. It all started with the January 2023 heavy rain... All of the sudden we noticed a leak into the living room. We installed the new roof in December 2018, and my first call was to the roofing company of course. The guy came over, checked everything and found no holes in the roof. However, he found the holes in the platform on which the A/C box was sitting, on top of the roof. Back in 2020, EconoAir did some upgrade, exactly on top of the roof (again, AFTER the new roof was installed). So I called EconoAir and ask for technician to come over and seal the holes. I even arranged the meeting with the roofing guy and technician from EconoAir, so the first one could explain exactly what happed. They both talked, took photos and video and the technician left saying ""we would call you back"". This was January 19. February I started worrying about the new rain in the forecast and the problem was not solved. I called them every week, then every day, and heard only ""they will call you back "". Never did. Then the worst happened. Another rain, another leak, and I called, absolutely desperate, and mentioned a potential lawsuit. They called me right away. Oh, and I also started the case with my insurance company, they put several big and loud fans in my living room to get rid of moisture, they removed the carpet, they started the demolition of the walls. And then two technicians from EconoAir came over to see any leaks, brought a water hose to the roof, told me ""yes, it's leaking (what a surprise!) but we can't find from where"". And they left. And the same night we had a heavy heavy rain!!! All the work of the drying machines went to hell since we had another flood in the living room. The floor was wet, the exposed wood beams were saturated with water, it was terrible! We have to start all the drying process again (which means 24/7 of turned on fans, for over a week at least, just imagine my electrical bill). I called EconoAir again! And the manager told me, ""Ok, we have to come over, lift up the A/C box , pick up the platform, seal everything underneath and put it back. And since your have been our client since ...year and we just performed the job on your house back in 2020, we are going to charge you only $4,000! And this is with a $2,000 discount otherwise you would pay $6,000"". What a relief (I say it with sarcasm if you don't detect it)! I asked the manager why should I pay for their mistake and negligence. The manager said ""what mistake?"" In short, I just gave up, having a medical condition now and getting tired of the mess in the house, I said ""ok, let's do it!"" Today, four guys came over to do the job, and I hope this is the last day I see the van with ""EconoAir"" sign on it. And this is the end of the story. No more EconoAir, if I need any maintenance, I find another HVAC company to perform it. Thank you for your business.
Dylan was thorough in explaining my options for updating my central heating and adding central air. I never felt pressured or that he was trying to up sell the service I needed which is rare these days so I really appreciated that. I'm looking forward to doing business with econo air.
Very informative and took the time to explain and educate on the importance of maintenance. Would definitely recommend.
