Eli at EB Plumbing is the best! He has rescued my drains more then once now and also installed a gas line to my fireplace and other jobs over the last few years. I've never met such a can-do/reasonable plumber. Prices are very reasonable and love his friendly attitude.

EB showed up on time; same day I called to fix a broker shower mixing valve that had our shower down for five days ! I had called three local companies prior (two scheduled and changed three times; another never called back). Called EB on advise of Cal Steam in Emeryville as I went there to buy new part (saves Plumber time and you $). Called EB at 10am; he called back a little after 11 am ! He scheduled me for 2pm the same day; said it might be later if he ran it to trouble at current job. Showed up early ( after phone call); very COVID sensitive; very professional and friendly. Solved problem and installed new part in less than an hour and tested the install twice before he was satisfied ("" I'm here now and it would be better if I didn't have to come back if it didn't work""; he said). I have never met a better plumber in 32 yrs of home ownership ! I will not even consider anyone else except E. B. Plumbing !

Excellent Customer Service!
We had a sudden and severe faucet leak that developed; and just before a long weekend, no less. I contacted my regular plumber who was, not surprisingly, unavailable until the next Tuesday. We needed help!

The faucet was not just dripping, it was running and clearly more than our unskilled efforts could repair. My go-to for sudden emergency help was the Yelp community; it did not disappoint.

I chose EB Plumbing based on its customer ratings (first and foremost) and next its proximity to me. I always hold my breath when I go outside of my regular providers, but Eli, the principal plumber, was great!

On our call, he told me that he was committed to another job that morning, but that he would swing by, take a look to see if he could stop it or slow it down, go to his scheduled appointment, then come back in the afternoon to finish mine up. I was stunned! He was going WAY beyond what I had experienced with other new contractors.

He came exactly when he said he would (promptness is very important to me), assessed the leak and told me that he was heading out to buy the part he needed. Even over my protestations, because I knew he had a scheduled appointment that I really didn't want him to be late for, he declared that he could fix my problem with the necessary part and still make it to his appointment on time. He also said that he didn't want me to have to go all day long without having access to running water in the house. We had to turn the main water valve off, because of the amount of water we were losing because of the leak.

Eli found the original brand part, not an after market piece, and fixed the leak really quickly. I was SO grateful and he was SO kind and considerate. This is a rare quality in contractors these days; at least the ones I've had to deal with.

Bottom line: EB Plumbing was prompt, true to their word, efficient, fast, skilled, polite, personable and considerate (did I mention that he cleared the trap of hair too?!) I would recommend them and use them again. Thank you Eli! You literally saved our weekend.

Professional. Said would arrive in 15 minutes, and 15 minutes later he's ringing the bell. Main sewer line clogged, backing up water from washing machine to kitchen sink. Found problem quickly. Moved dryer out, washing machine out. Then moved them back in. Quick in, quick out. Eli doesn't take credit card, so be sure to have check or cash standing by.
