We bought a house with numerous plumbing problems. Blowout in cast iron sewer pipe, no cleanout to house, faulty installation of MB toilet. Easy Flow was great to work with. The crew works quickly and efficiently and Tom was great in answering my questions and making sure I was happy with the work. Very customer service friendly, the cost was reasonable and the finish work was beautiful. We have one more major plumbing project to complete and I will definitely be calling Tom to schedule the work. 5 star recommend.

My project was irrigation drain blockages from yard to street. Easy flow sent 2 guys every day for 4 visits. Problem was we never saw the same people twice so I had to be home and explain to the ""New"" team each visit what the project was and what needed to be done. Some of the visits were spent going back over what the previous workers had done (repeating exact same work). Some visits were unproductive because they didn't have the right equipment on the truck. One appointment a No Show. End result was me being home each day to supervise. They replaced only 1 four foot section of pvc drain and the rest was ""camera work"". $1700.

Our home in Del Mar, CA was constructed in the 1950s. Although it's been remodeled a couple of times, we never attended to the condition of the sewer line connecting the house to the City sanitary sewer in the street. Last August, the sixty-something year old cast iron line collapsed and we knew it was time to make a major repair or replacement. We feared it would require major excavation in our patio and gardens, and inside our home. We called in three rooter services to get estimates. The first one, was so aggressive, the workers started digging up our plants before we were ready to sign the contract. We got rid of them fast. The next one was quite reasonable and recommended a process that would require pulling a pipe liner through the partially collapsed line, but would require excavations at both ends of the line, as well as at each bend. We were interested, but still uneasy about the cost and excavations required. Then, we interviewed Mark Bustle of Easy Flow. Mark was so relaxed and easy to talk with. He explained his method wouldn't require any excavation other than to access the clean outs, could be completed in one or two days, and his price was the lowest of the three. Moreover, he didn't ask for payment up front, or even a deposit. He would bill us when the work was completed and we were completely satisfied. We were hooked. I did some independent research on the equipment and method Mark described to us, and found it was the latest technology, called ""Cured in Place Pipe,"" or CiPP, is fully approved in the latest version of the CA Uniform Plumbing Code, and doesn't require a City permit. Sure enough, Mark and his crew arrived early at the appointed time to begin, and had the entire 100 feet of sewer line installed and ready to use by the end of the day! Moreover, he was able to reline the sewer main under our concrete foundation without having to do any work inside! You have to see this process to believe it. Check it out on YouTube. Mark met and exceeded all of our expectations, and satisfied every claim he had promised. His expert crew worked efficiently and cleanly. When done, there was no mess - one couldn't even tell work had been done. But i have the video to prove it. Thanks again, Mark.

I will attempt to articulate how great my experience was with Easy Flow-5 star! Period! I had a handy man come over to fix minor repair items in one of my bathrooms, he did great, I asked him for his thoughts on another large plumbing job bid by one of the larger plumbing service companies in SD. He said, you need to research and do CIPP-cure in place piping instead of having your basement ripped to pieces and FORCE a remodel. Never heard of it before. Original bid made me uncomfortable due many small ""touchy feeley"" aspects. It was realistically a guess-timate. To be fair, it was probably more like a half baked estimate versus a true valid effort to provide information to the me the homeowner-to make a truly evaluative decision on a large expensive plumbing repair. I am ok with spending money knowing the job bid was accurate and understandable.
Here is how the process started, I am sure most people would say to themselves, boy this sounds familiar....
My wife wanted to put some new flooring in our room on the foundation level but I told her we need to address the plumbing issue to make sure we fixed any foundation/pipe issues before we spend money on flooring. One of many major expenses in fixing up the rooms on our downstairs/foundation level rooms. House built in early 60's. Basically, we had a busted pipe somewhere within the foundation and it impacted the sink/bathroom area next to the desired renovation area.
One day, I decided to research any firms in SD that provide this service. Easy Flow came up within my research via Google etc...I called. Mark is the main person at the firm and was the one I originally spoke to/with. Great guy, felt like I was talking to a best friend from high school. days. First experience was beyond comfortable!! He came over the following day with 2 of his guys to run a camera and provide direction and estimate accordingly. Comparison, Easy Flow only wanted to open up the overly aged traps to be able to see into the pipes and provide bid. Other company told me they couldn't open those because they were old and unable to open without searing off the catch and look into the pipes via their cameras. ""guess-timate"" referred to previously. Easy Flow and team had to come back the following day with equipment since the pipes were old. They seared off catches (?) and peered their cameras into the aged piping. NO COST, everything was placed back to normal with new trap/catch covers or whatever you call them. Ok...break it to me gently...how bad, good, what do we do? Did I say my house was built in the 60's? Ok...issues of course, damage repairable, costs money. Right, the usual. Easy Flow provided a detailed quote for repairs, more than I wanted to hear, but explanation of the process, repairs, details, why, how, damage internally and solutions---understood. Needed to be done, no workaround. Cure the cancer internally at the house--this was/is my plumbing system. a homeowner should, quite frankly, never F around or skimp when it comes to this type of issue and repair.
After discussing costs and job with my wife, we decided to proceed and get the repairs completed.
These guys are great, top notch, couldn't be happier. I came home after long days at work and picking up kids and came up to a professional crew, doing major repairs, with little to no interruptions on any water related functions in the house.
Easy Flow went above my expectations. There were surprises, normal, addressed and resolved without issue or adjustments to the bid/cost of the repairs.
I felt more than comfortable with ALL aspects of the repair and would recommend this firm to anyone inquiring or reviewing the YELP reviews. etc. I got what I paid for, happy with the repairs and the Easy Flow Crew is truly amazing. Ask yourself this question when you deal with any company in the service industry, did they give you accurate information? YES Did they give you details providing an accurate expectation of service?YES Did they live up to their commitments?YES If there was an issue, was it addressed properly and to your satisfaction? BEYOND YES Did you actually get what you thought you signed up for? YES Did you ever feel buyers remorse? NONE--period. I cannot say any more that would articulate how I feel about this company, Mark, and his team of individuals!
When I paid, I was asking how this company could be able to help us out with low level plumbing repairs. If anyone wants to contact me regarding this review, please email me at [email protected]. I am more than happy to tell you why these guys are in fact the best.

Consulted Mark 3x. On time, every time, and consistent with estimate. Scheduled sewer lining 1 day in advance of work. Crew showed up on time, completed work to plan. Had an unexpected issue (nobody's fault), and upon phoning Mark, offered to send crew on s Sat night. Scheduled a Mon spot, instead, and resolved within an hour (no cost).

Strong recommendation.

Excellent work done on time to repair our back yard drainage problem. Love the fact that a whole lot of concrete did not have to be ripped up.

Mark and Jim showed excellent customer care and service. Straightforward, upfront, professional, and courteous. Their work crew had a great attitude and was nice to work with. They were hard-working, dedicated, and knowledgeable. They took care to protect our yard and interior floors, and minimize damage to the drywall in accessing the sewer lines. They patiently answered all of our questions and were happy to explain what they were doing as they worked. When they uncovered an unrelated plumbing code violation by a former contractor, they immediately brought it to our attention. After we verified it was a code violation, they fixed the problem at cost (that is, no profit to the business). Mark and Jim promptly addressed problems that came up. On one occasion, Mark immediately volunteered and performed extra service that the company was not under contract to provide as consideration for the inconvenience we experienced when an unexpected problem arose. We appreciate their services very much.

I have been dealing with replacement of a cracked sewer line that gets clogged with roots. Some of line under the house I have had replaced by a different plumber that was very costly. I decided to give Easy Flow a try. Jim Cometa came out to my house right on time and was very professional and explained the process thoroughly. He sent a camera down the sewer line to show me what part of the line needed to get the resin plastic liner and gave me an estimate that was better than replacing the pipe and said he could have a crew come out the next day at 8:00 am to
do the work. The crew showed up on time the next day and were done by 3:30 pm. They dug a hole 3 feet in diameter and 4 feet deep to access the sewer and they put liner in about 60 feet of pipe. When they were done you would have never known that anyone had been there. All the landscaping looked the same. Jim called to make sure that we were satisfied. I highly recommend Easy Flow and would ask for Jim Cometa.

I don't give five stars if everything is perfect but in the real world when unanticipated problems get fixed and addressed promptly. After my existing plumber cleared my main for a 10 unit apartment North Park three times in six weeks, I knew something painful and expensive was coming my way. My existing plumber wanted $250 to run a camera through my main plus the third time he came to clear he only brought 70 feet of line and could not clear it to the city line. I had decided to get the free camera service from Easy Flow before this third clean out of the main. Mark arrived while the existing plumber at 4:30 PM said he had to go back to the shop to get an extension. Knowing all the tenants would be coming home I was mortified since sewage had backed out my main clean out behind the building. Mark said he could have someone to clean it out in 10 minutes which was less than existing plumber. I sent the existing plumber home and sure enough Mark's guy rather than bringing a snake brought a water jet and set up and cleared main in the same time it would have taken my plumber to just get his big main snake set up. Then Mark put his camera to my main and showed major cracks 15 feet down and then again just 85 feet in. Plus a lateral from the laundry room had tree roots and also was cracked. Since the main was close to bursting, I was lucky that they had an opening to start the next day. Since it was a new high tech relining ""trenchless"" method he said it would take a couple days and tenants would still be able to use the sewer during the evening. The first day they dug up the sidewalk behind the building in the alley where they could then power clean and drag chain to prepare for liner. The also dug up in the washer room to fix the lateral. The tenants that night could use the sewer. Next day they used cameras to record laterals and begin the relining process. They first relined the main toward the city sewer which was pretty weak pipe and while working on the up line part of the main they had some major equipment failures(They have lots of very expensive high tech systems)that threw off their timing and decided to reline the rest of the main the following day. Again, my tenants could use their sewer drains after work hours. The third day they relined the rest of the main under the apartment and fixed the lateral under the wash room. They also used a cutter robot and camera to open up the now hardened main to each lateral of every apartment. This process is pretty amazing since the finished product after they coat the liner on one side that has material to absorb the resin and then used compressed air to blow the liner while inverting it into the main with resin side into the existing pipe that becomes just like a hard pipe within a pipe that has a 30 year warranty. That night the tenants could use drains but Sunday I got a call from an upset downstairs tenant who had a backed up toilet that was backing up on the floor. I had to put up this tenant into a hotel for the night while the tenant above him who had two bathrooms agreed not to use the toilet that shared the same lateral to the main. Easy Flow came out first thing Monday morning and opened up the lateral which only was partially cut open. The same thing was also found on a kitchen drain on another apartment later which created a mess in a downstairs apartment since that tenant had been away for a week. Meanwhile instead of having their concrete guy just redo half the sidewalk that had been torn up as agreed they offered to do the whole sidewalk at no charge. Since they do lots of city work they use some really high end approved concrete and the sidewalk looks very good and solid. The job cost half of what a regular main replacement would have cost and that's not counting the cost of having to put up ten tenants for days in hotels. If you are a landlord with an older building don't wait for the main to burst. Get a free camera check of your main and do a reline before things get really bad. These guys are very experienced and obviously have invested in a lot of very expensive high tec equipment.
