These systems enable users to heat and cool spaces without relying on fossil fuels. Our clients have realized that these systems operate at a lower cost than conventional fossil fuel systems.

Starting as a family-run business, Eastern Mechanical Services, Inc. has a strong heritage. The present owners, Ted and John Huizinga, are third-generation mechanics, each holding all necessary certifications and licenses to operate in Connecticut. We provide a variety of services such as plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, medical gas, chemical conveyance, and de-ionized water systems.

Ted brings a wealth of experience from the industrial sector, has served as a pipe fitter, certified pipe welder, and field engineer in the commercial nuclear power industry for several years.

John is licensed in heavy industrial, pharmaceutical, and chemical facilities throughout Connecticut, delivering plumbing, fire protection, medical gas, and HVAC solutions.
