Company Overview

We offer a comprehensive range of plumbing services, including fixture repairs and replacements, to drain cleaning, repairing and replacing water heaters, repairs on utility lines including water, gas, and sewer, including repairs to piping. We also provide dye testing and backflow preventer installation and testing. We handle both new construction and retrofitting plumbing systems, we also service hydronic heating systems. Our clientele includes both homeowners and businesses.

East End Plumbing & Mechanical started in 1957 with an investment of $4,000. Arthur V. Mascilli Sr. raised this capital by cashing in a veterans life insurance policy. What he thought was a major misstep became a remarkable success. More than 50 years later, we maintain a multi-million dollar backlog each year and a prestigious client roster across Southwestern Pennsylvania.

At 15, Arthur started his plumbing apprenticeship in Italy. He immigrated to America shortly after. Once in America, he began his studies at Connelly Technical Institute at the age of 17 to embark on a five-year academic and apprenticeship program in plumbing. After completing his apprenticeship, he earned his Journeyman license from the Allegheny County Health Department. Shortly thereafter, he received orders for active duty as part of the Korean Conflict. His service included roles in both Construction and Combat Engineering.
