They are excellent! Our water heater died and they came out the same day. Ordered us a new one and explained everything that would be involved, price, etc. They were very professional, courteous, and came on time. They do amazing work!
The service tech was a salesman more than a plumber. He didn't even look at the toilet (flush it, look in the back tank or check the shut off valve) instead he went right out to his vehicle and spent time writing up this estimate with an attached plumbing/hvac contract. The estimate came to 578.00 with a discounted price of 491.00 if we signed up for the 180.00/yearly contract. He quoted this without even verifying what the problem was. I refused service, paid my 99.00 trip fee and went to Home Depot. I replaced the mechanism in the toilet tank for 18.00. The shut off valve is fine. We had our water pump in the front yard replaced a year ago for 1200.00. The tech worked on it for a couple hours, down in a hole on a hot day. 578.00 for a 20 minute job with the part costing 18.00 dollars? No thanks.
I've used them before for emergencies and have found them to be professional, affordable and quite knowledgeable. I decided to call to see if they would be interested in a small job for an outside shower. An appointment was set, the techs showed up on time . We discussed what I was looking for and a work order was written explaining in detail the price. I scheduled a return for the work and had it done the following week. Call East Coast for your plumbing needs. Ask about their customer loyalty program for service coupons, discount rates etc.
Robert R.Very responsive within 2 days Bob came by the house assessed the situation gave a quote and he was here the following day to do the job. Quality work, very informative about product he installed and cleaned up afterwards not to mention what I thought was very fair pricing.
If you are in southern Delaware you know the expression LSD, lower slower Delaware. This business did not fit the definition or description. Within 2 hours of calling technicians arrived. They then called to get a master plumber for our cracked cap for clean our pipe. Mold was apparent and then we were able to get the property mitigated. Great response rate and assistance. We met 5 employees and all were helpful courteous and skilled.
Randy J.I rarely give 5 stars.
This morning, I am taking my shower at 7am. Its sunday memorial day weekend, figures it would do this on a big holiday weekend. I noticed the shower stall started filling up with water. I got out to flush the toilet, and the water filled up but didn't drain. I tried plunger, draino ,plunging some more but no help. At 8:30 am, I called East Coast plumbing. They picked up on the 3rd ring. The nice lady said they would be there before 10 am. About an hour or so later, Andrew pulls up. He asked me what was going on. By my excellent explanation, he said, ""Let me look into your septic tank first.""lol. Sure enough, the ""septic approved"" toilet paper was blocking the exit drain pipe from the house. He cleared the clog and the entire drainage area ,including around the lid and the septic filter for the sludge. The weekend/holiday rate was higher, but it's a big BUT I really couldn't wait for Joe smoe to maybe come out some time this weekend. Now by 10:15 all the drains were flowing great and all things are happy again. We will call them again and keep Andrew's card on the side of the refrigerator for future service.
My sister-in-law had a sewer back-up and called East Coast Plumbing. They came out cleared the blockage and cleaned up. Very satisfied with the service. However, the charge was excessive by any comparison. Approximately double what most other companies would charge at $688 for a relatively uncompliated clean out. All was accomplished through the outside access and the tech was there about an hour or 90 minutes. My sister-n-law is a first time homeowner and had no idea what such a service should cost so just agreed to the estimate.
I called the next day and asked for an explanation of the costs. The receptionist was very pleasant, took my info and said the service manager would call me back. The next day the tech who performed the service called and told me that is their standard price for using sewer line cleanout equipment. So, my conclusion is that I can certainly recommend the quality of service, however, I cannot in good conscience recommend on price. At least for sewer clean out.
Our garbage disposal had a serious leak. Went on line, found East Coast Plumbing. I decided to call because of reviews. 2 plumbers showed up within a few short hours. Quoted a placement at a fair price, and did the job immediately. Awesome! Andrew and James were very professional, knowledgeable. Strongly recommend ECP.
Thanks for a job well done!
Beebee H.Great company! Quick to get back to us and got out the next day! Their service contract is amazing as well! We feel very protected now.
This company is a rip off! They have hidden fees charged me $249 just to look at job and wanted to charge 3 times more than other service companies. I asked owner to consider reducing fee that was not explained and he was not at all professional in handling the situation. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Beware!
