Takes advantage of senior citizens! Only gives a 30 day warranty on their work when most plumbers give a 1 year. I see now why they only give 30 days! Their shoddy workmanship left an elderly woman with thousands of dollars worth of water damage. They claimed no responsibility, offered no help or even additional solutions and treated her badly when they came out. This is after charging almost $700 for a very small job. No she has mold, mildew, drywall damage, baseboard damage, damages in the kitchen walls, bathroom walls and much more! Don't think they will come to help, they don't care. NEVER call these people!!!!

Do not call or use East Coast Plumbing here in the Melbourne area. I waited 4.5 hours for service appt, with 2 assurances that I would get a call back """"soon."""" This was for a problem caused by a previous service call that I waited over 2 hours beyond the appt time for the other day. We went out and got a $25 auger that attaches to a drill and we unclogged the drain ourselves - a messy and at times frustrating job. But the drain is clear, at least for now. Would consider zero or negative stars if I could. Do not use East Coast Plumbing. Find someone else.

Incompetent and over-priced. Communication was terrible. You call the office and they forward your message somewhere and """"wait for a call-back"""". First visit did not clear the main drain when I specifically told the tech that I was sure it was a tree root. That visit cost me $436 and did not fix the problem. Next trip...TO CLEAR THE TREE ROOT cost another $300. Extremely frustrating working with these people. I hope this review costs this company at least the amount that it over-charged me.

I ended up with a leak in my house, under the slab. I called East Coast since my first choice (due to family reference) was unable to get out for a week. They worked out well. They tried to squeeze me in the day I called but were unable to so they got me first appointment of the following day. The plumber, Dave, who showed up was very professional. I know a little about plumbing from some DIY activities and I watched as he worked. He took time to sand old joints before welding/gluing, he always used primer, and was happy to explain what he was doing and/or what he was checking for. (Unlike another company I used whose 'plumber' dropped a glue covered PVC pipe in the sand and stuck it together anyway) He found the leak within an hour and then took two and 45 minutes to bust up the concrete, dig out the pipe, replace the broken piece, and patch it all back up. He also replaced a couple of copper valves while searching for the leak (since they were so old they wouldn't close). I gave four stars instead of five for one reason: The final bill was higher than expected at $725 bucks. Without a specific breakdown I am guessing it was $300 for the leak detection plus $125 an hour for three hours plus parts and tax. Still, I was expecting ~$500-$550 for four hours of work. All in all, Dave gets 5 stars and due to billing/cost I give an overall 4 to the company.

When pulling on a hose I ripped the exterior faucet off the side of my house on a Sunday afternoon. Fortunately the cut off was just below this faucet but now I have no water in the house. East Coast Plumbing took my info and told me they would call me back with an ETA. About 20 minutes later one of their plumbers, Dave, called back and said he would be there within 2 hours and gave me an estimate based on my description. About an hour later Dave arrived and had it fixed better than new in about 30 minutes.

Do not use this company. The plumber did a good job, however he sat in his van for over one hour talking on his cell phone. What was a two hour job was billed to me on an invoice for $465.00. Non itemized just a flat rate with taxes included. Highly unacceptable business practices. Customer Beware.

They came out on Thursday said they couldn't complete job until Monday. Then our water heater quit on Friday. They finally came late Monday morning. When the plumber left, he didn't finish the job, gave us a higher price and left us with electrical work which needed to be done. We thought that was included for the price of putting the water heater in. He also didn't minus the $95 house call we paid on the first visit which they said we would get back. We will never use them again.
