I have had nothing but good experiences with this company. I recently had them install a new Lennox A/C and the technicians were great. They did a great job and kept everything super clean and neat. I asked a billion questions and they welcomed them and answered them thoroughly. I feel like we learned so much we didn't know before! Thanks ECM!

We just purchased a home and since ECM was the original AC unit installer, I decided to call them for a maintenance check. Well they came out upsold a UV light and claimed my AC unit had a clean drain line and no issues found. Two hours later AC dies and when I opened the unit it was filthy. Pictures are attached. I will never let ECM in my home again. And I will definitely inform the HOA and the neighbors of the poor service.

I would be very careful before doing business with ECM. They do a wonderful sales pitch to get you on board but when it comes time to use the service contract, beware of their hidden charges. I had a hinge repaired by them in my frig and once I canceled my contract with them, they no longer were interested in standing behind their work when the hinge failed again within a 6 month period. I would advise anyone considering using ECM to really think twice and shop around. The present a wonderful pitch till it is time to really use the service. The best recommendation that I can give is caveat emptor. Buyer or user beware.

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY! I too have had a service contract with ECM for my mom's home in Florida to give her piece of mind. They asked me this year if I wanted to add a """"service check"""" on my air conditioner for a small fee. I added it and they came out yesterday to """"service"""" the unit - but not only did they """"service"""" it they said I needed a completely NEW UNIT! Which did not make sense, as my mother had also contracted Atlantic Air conditioning to come take a look - and lo and behold - the unit is completely fine and needs no repairs. I am going to cancel my contract today and hopefully get some money back...but if not, I will cut my loses and RUN. They have never helped us when an appliance breaks - and they never replace anything. They """"fix"""" it poorly and leave me to clean up the mess. DON'T USE THESE PEOPLE! They are master manipulators of your money. Too bad, a really great company, which they advertise they are, could help out the seniors living in Florida who could use some good """"insurance"""" on their appliances.

Purchased a new central system from ECM which they installed in January 2018. Company provided routine maintenance calls, the last one in November 2019. Following that call the system would not start so I called another company to inspect the system. The problem was that ECM technician failed to reinstall the float valve in the drain pipe after cleaning the drain, clearly sloppy work on the part of ECM. I call ECM to explain and ask for refund to the service call charge; also sent a picture showing the valve laying next to the drain pipe. They just jerked me around and gave me attitude. I would never do business with them again and would not recommend anyone else hire them for anything.

We had dripping from the AC. They claimed we needed a new unit or at a minimum new coils and pounds of freon. Cost $2,500 to $4,000. We had Island Air come for a 2nd opinion (they were recommended by our broker) - cost for repair was $200! Just needed to clean out the drain pipe. ECM told me the coils were frozen ( I was not home at the time so couldn't confirm this) so this meant we needed major work. When Island came they said if coils were frozen then ECM was right., But when Island came there were no frozen coils and it has been weeks since we had the repair and at no time have we had frozen coils. ECM claims they had a picture of the frozen coils- yet they wouldn't show it to me. So ECM may be correct but I have no proof. Bottom line- if you use ECM and they want to do a repair always get a 2nd opinion. I was glad I did- I saved from $2,300 to $3,800

I am going on day 3 of a broken ac unit outside. I had the repair man come on April 21 for a replacement of a coil on my unit and then found out it really wasn't needed. Horrible noise related. Noise came back worse than ever and while away visiting family, a neighbor complained of the noise and stuck a screwdriver in the top which broke a blade. Now the real trouble and cost begins. A very technical supervisor came out to fix the problems and as he was excellent, he said he will order all the new parts. Discovered ECM will not replace a part until I pay for it..Special order or whatever is not anyone one companies requirement to pay upfront for a part. This is totally unacceptable. I had to have the money wired to my checking acct. which cost me a wiring fee. They refused to reinburse me the cost of wiring my bank I have 37 very expensive salt water fish in 8 display tanks and the water has to be constant at 76-78 degrees or if too warm will die. the temperature is now 82 degrees. I keep throwing ice cubes in it around the clock. This is terrible. This morning, after they received the full payment overnight and said now we will order the part which may take a few days. I went ballistic. I too have the most expensive warrantee they offer.

ECM has a contract with LG for warranty repairs. After they were unable to fix our washing machine, they have not sent the information to LG. I have called and spoken with Customer Service multiple times. I have begged, pleaded and asked what else I can do to convince them to contact LG to clarify that they have declared the appliance unfixable. They patently REFUSE to provide ANY documentation of the multiple times they have been out to service the machine, REFUSE to contact LG with the information they say they have sent, and refuse to help in any way. ALL I have asked it to simply reestablish the information with LG and/or provide us with the documentation they have so we can handle the warranty issue from here. Instead, the customer service team (to date: Jeffrey, Diane and one other) has been rude, dismissive and altogether unhelpful. I am left to presume they don't give a hoot that we are left in limbo because of their horrible ability to communicate simple information to LG. I can't fathom why they care to take warranty repair requests if they have no interest in finalizing the issue. If ANYONE at ECM cares to contact us to simply help get the information back to LGF properly, I would be ecstatic, having clearly gotten NOWHERE with their customer support department.

8 years ago Ecm replaced an AC for a friend she paid 7000 today they replaced that unit again for another 7000 she is 87 years old and forgotten that she replace the unit 8 years ago so when the told her she had a freon leak and would have mor issues they recommend replacing. This Lennox unit came with a 10 year warranty she had 2 years left but instead of explaining this to a woman that's hard of hearing they took another 7000 dollars from her. And she over paid by 2000 I called 6 ac companies and for a 3 ton unit she got robbed Shame on this company

This the second year of our contract with ecm. yesterday i called them to come and fix the same problem that we had last month and have almost every other month with Ac pipe leaking water. I told them I wont pay another $45 dollars copay as its hardly a month since last service. The person confirmed that I wont be paying any $45 this time. After the service they called me today that they are putting the contract on hold since I did not pay them. I do not mind paying the money but after confirming that there will be no charge, they are asking for money and put the contract on hold. The supervisor was rude and did not want to listen to my point of view. Thats is really not acceptable.i would never renew our contract with them.
