I am very disappointed in ECM. I have had their service for years and it was fine. Lately, the service has been terrible. Do not let Ricardo in your home unless you want to be verbally abused. This not only happened to me it happened to someone I refered to ECM. I feel terrible. He lied to his supervisor, Tim and Tim bought his lie and also became abusive. This is suppose to be a customer service based company. There is only horrible customer service. I hope they learn what customer service is. You can say something nicely even if it's a negative and get your point accross.

DO NOT USE ECM!!! By far they are the worst company. There is no customer service starting at the top with the owner's sister. She has an attitude and needs to learn how to talk and treat her customers as well as her entire staff. My parents has had problems with their hot water tank. They needed a new hot water tank and of course it was not covered. After it was installed the hot water was set at at the wrong temperature. Can't wait until my parents contract expires...Use another company. There are many companies out there that knows how to speak to their customers and have the correct customer service skills!

DO NOT USE ECM! I have the Total Home Protection Plan. Air Conditioner unit is 10 years old and has a small Freon leak. ECM will NOT repair or replace told leak caused by age of system ECM wants to replace entire Air Conditioning Unit At a cost to me of $3900! The Total Home Protection Plan is a RIPOFF! I have been a contract customer with ECM for over 5 years, with all the appliances covered in the house. I have never had a problem with them. . .they always show up on time, their technicians are very professional and never make excuses. About 4 years ago the compressor in the refrigerator died and they even gave me a loaner because the had to take it away to fix it. I originally had a contract with sears and it was $150 more than what ECM charges and it did not even cover my 5 ton AC. I'll stay with ECM until I leave this house.

I was quoted a price by ecm for my new 3.5 ton A/C unit. The representative was very patient and explained the entire process to me. I was happy w the Quoted price and agreed to replace my 15 year old AC unit. I was very happy to hear they offer next day installation service . The installation team arrived prompt at 9 am as promised. They completed the work the same day . They were very neat and organized. They offered a 10 year warranty on my unit and I am extremely happy w the entire process. I would highly recommend ECM for there home service contract and the purchase of new air conditioners.

I'm noticing a couple of one-star ratings on this page for ECM, but I have to tell you that I totally disagree with that rating. Have I ever had problems with them? Absolutely - but it was never anything that they didn't graciously correct. Everyone I've ever dealt with on the phone has been polite and accommodating. While it's true that one or two of the technicians haven't been particularly """"cheery,"""" they have always done their job quickly and efficiently. And most of the techs are very nice, work clean, answer all of my questions, and keep me informed of their progress. On very rare occasions they have been outside their window for their arrival time, but mostly, they come earlier than expected. I've been with other similar companies, but I have been with ECM since 2006 (maybe longer) and I am pleased overall with the company. If I was going to say anything negative, it would have to be that I am unable to pay my bill on line, but I hope they're working on that issue.

Do not use - by far - their promises are not kept - they even close for lunch - late for service appointments - can take 5 days to get an appointment for an A/C problem and I even have an annual service contract - fine print on contract contains so many outs for them - I am always surprised - stay away

Bought a house and we replaced our A/C units so we did not have to be bothered with having it break down and calling the A/C company all the time. After spending over $10,000 I would think that our air conditioning problems would be done for a long while. Since they installed the units, they have not runner properly from day one. The air handler is located on the seconded floor. We had such a vibration the the entire second floor shook and had to turn the tv up just to hear it. It felt like a helicopter was landing on the roof. They came to fix that. We still have a vibration not as bad. They said one of out UV lights shorted out. I said its brand new. They came back for that. Then we have the cold spell . Went to turn on the heat. The nest reads some code about a loose wire and no heat.! So they come out and the workman said that the AC wire and the heater wire are touching and it shorted out. That they need an electrician . So next day talking to ECM our policy does not cover wiring because that's our house. Well it was working before they installed the dam unit. Maybe with the second floor shaking like a a 6 on the rector scale , might have something to do with the wires touching. And why should I pay for that. My unit has not worked properly since installation . Sounds like an installation problem . !!! I am not happy and all my neighbors in my community know about my AC issues and what company I used. And it's around that time that they all will be needing new AC's . What a pity . My family owns several business . Word of mouth and backing your product means everything in business.
