Really nice staff here! When I called in they were full but put me on a cancellation list. They ended up not having a cancellation but one of the plumbers just had an opening because he got with a job a lot quicker than he thought he would. So I took the appointment for Saturday and everything went great! He repaired my water heater without any problems. Great family business.

Totally agree with the other Yelpers here- I had a last minute need and they were so accommodating to my work schedule, which is regular office hours. They did an awesome job too!!

Also, I asked a ton of questions because I had no idea how anything worked, and they were so patient and answered all of the questions I asked in an easy to understand way.

Highly recommended and I'll be calling them if this happens again!

Our water heater in the house needed to be checked out, and I called to set up an appointment. It was prompt, smooth and I was able to get it fixed next day (Yey!) and the worker, mike was professional and helpful. I highly recommend them!!

From their customer service to the actual plumber on the job, I found their whole team very honest and professional. I was having trouble with the hot water in my shower-it would suddenly go from hot to cold while you are in the shower without any warning!! I called East Bay Water Heater to discuss the issue and they seemed to understand the problem right away. The plumber came by the next day and fixed the problem very quickly. It's very difficult to find a trustworthy service these days and I'm really glad I came across theirs. If East Bay Water Heater offers services in your area- I would definitely recommend giving them a call, you won't be disappointed!

The customer service was beyond what I expected! They never tried to beat around the bush when it came to my questions and were upfront about the price. I love when I know exactly what to expect, especially in a time where I need something like hot water. They were able to repair my water heater without any trouble. I was honestly so frustrated when I first found out it wasn't working cause I thought I was going to have to go DAYS without hot water but they made sure to get me in the same day! The guy that came out was friendly and didn't mind me asking questions that had already been answered. I would highly recommend them.

They have a short wait list if you're in need of someone last minute! I was surprised that I was able to get a same appointment that day. Their plumber was nice and the total price was reasonable. I had the pilot light on my water heater repaired. I would recommend them if they work your area. They did a great job!

THEY SAVED US FROM TAKNG COLD SHOWERS!! Seriously our water hasn't been hot like normal for some reason and my roommate and I couldn't handle just praying our water would be warm that day anymore. My roommate and I attend UC Berkeley and are so busy with summer school and volunteering it had been the last thing on our list to take care of. They were super friendly plumbers who work hard! I wasn't exactly sure what was wrong or what happened to my water heater but their guy on the phone helped me out a ton. They responded promptly and he gave me a short rundown of what was happening and how much it would cost to get it fixed. It was super helpful as my roommate and I had never felt with a plumber before! Thankfully it was a cheaper repair!!! Can't express how easy they made everything!

This establishment has very accommodating workers who make sure your needs are fully taken care of. I was housesitting and needed the hot water back on and I had a friend give me the thumbs up - a great recommendation for them. When I called in, they requested some shots from which I got a quote and an appointment time via text message. Their tech seemed really sincere and you could tell he wasn't just out to get your money / over charge /anything like that. Their tech left everything super clean before he left too. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to get such a great company working for me and that they have such great availability.

I had a leaky old water heater when I purchased a condo. Spoke to Mike on the phone and he gave me an honest assessment of how much life I have on it and how to prepare for the inevitable replacement. That gave me some room to budget and research on what to replace it with . When the time came, they made it so easy - I chose a time , they came on time cleared the clutter around the old heater, removed it and installed the new one in a jiffy. Very reasonable prices on labor and heater. I would go back there for my next property right of the back, instead of waiting for an "" emergency "" replacement. Highly recommend!

To summarize everything up, they do a great job. They have a great schedule with lots of room to be able to choose your appointment and time. They also give you a two hour window of when they will arrive but they sent a text message before showing up. Their plumber was well trained and had a lot of background work repairing water heaters. He did a lot of work for a short amount of time being at my house. Everything seems to be working great again so far. They met my expectations and then some. Definitely recommend them for any water heater repairs, you won't be sorry.
