Beware of this company. First of all, they took over Frymire when they went bankrupt. There was no notice to the customers when this happened. They still still operate under and using the Frymire name but don't honor any previous relationships. Last year, I got a 'membership' with them and then had a problem this year with 2 months left in my membership. For them to come service me, they were going to require me to buy a new membership. This is all after I lost my 10 year service warranty when the company went under. I won't be back! The impression I got was 'too bad so sad. We have you under the gun and will make you do what we want.'

They quoted me ~$700 to replace my garbage disposal. They then lowered the price to $500 if I did the service that day. With some fast googling while the technician was talking to me,I found that most 3/4 horse power insinkerators cost $145. Plus $109 for Home depot to install. So $700 woud've been outrageous. The tech was kind but I wasn't going to be swayed by that. PLEASE do research before signing. I will not be calling this company again. Even though they gave me a "complimentary" service plan even though I had to pay the $89 service fee for them to come out and quote me those prices. CRAZY.

On 3/6/18 Earthwise sent a plumber to repair plumbing issues. The issues were never resolved and the plumber stepped thru the ceiling causing damage. There was a hole in the ceiling and Earthwise stated they would send someone out to repair it. Once the "contractor" named Angel arrived he charged an extra $200 because I requested the ceiling match the area that was being patched. He said this wasn't covered by Earthwise. He only wanted to patch and paint the area where the plumber stepped thru the ceiling. The "contractor" was onsite in my home for 2 days and never completed the repairs to the ceiling. I had to hire someone new to come in and finish the repairs to the ceiling. Once the new company came to inspect the room it was discovered that the area that he was patching was done incorrectly and it had to be redone. Angle had also painted / patched over other areas and they began to bubble and the new company had to completely re-float the ceiling and paint the ceiling. This cost me an additional $850. I attempted to call Earthwise numerous times for resolution and was constantly told that they were investigating the issue. I never received a call back. The receptionist always claims that managers are in meetings or that they are not onsite.

Called Earthwise a few weeks back to schedule a water heater maintenance check.Upon arrival
at my home, Ray and Bobby did a complete inspection of my plumbing fixtures in the kitchen, bathrooms, water heater, and main drains. They flushed my water heater and replace the anode rod, and even inspected my sewer line with camera. These guys were completely professional, courteous, thorough , and knowledgeable. They educated me about my water heater and how to keep it maintained. I WILL DEFINITELY use Earthwise again and I highly recommend their services. Ray and Bobby's customer service scores were off the charts!

$268 to change an anode Rod. That was with $30 off for 5 minutes work. Guess the rods are gold plated.

I recently engaged Earthwise to replace a sewer line and was very pleased with the service provided by Robert, his assistant (Chris) and a company manager, Uriah. Everything associated with the plumbing went exactly as described. Although there was a small issue with the refilling of the trench, Uriah took time out of his Saturday to come to our home, review the issue and arrange for it to be satisfactorily resolved within 48 hours. I found them to be fair and to take professional pride in their work. Thank you, Earthwise!

Nick serviced my ac unit and did an excellent job. He let me know everything he was doing and had my drain fixed, my coils cleaned and my freon levels checked in a matter of 30 minutes. I was so impressed that I signed up to have them do a fall and spring checkup.

Update:

Had Earthwise install a new system for me - VERY expensive. Nick and associate did an excellent job and the ac works great. The only concern I have is the air return filter. It fits in a metal unit that looks like it was made in somebody's garage and the actual filter fits so loosely in the unit that I don't see how it filters any air as it at seems that the air just flows around the filter. I'm no expert and EW told me that they have installed about 100 units just like this one. If someone could post a picture of their filter unit I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance

Needed same day help with my under sink pipe that corroded through and started leaking. They helped get me a service time that worked for me. Technician was courteous and helpful and the pricing reasonable. I will use them again in the future.

Beware of free offers! We were offered free maintenance on our air conditioner. Instead, if doing any maintenance, we were told the freon was low and we needed to replace the entire HVAC system because it was too old. He didn't even wash out the outside unit (i.e. maintenance.) After that appointment, our system started freezing up several times daily (it had never frozen up in the past four years). We had a different company recharge the freon and wash out the unit and it hasn't frozen up since then. So draw your own conclusion. Earthwise sent a different person out for free maintenance our hot water tank. Guess what - he said it needs to be replaced. So I am getting a second opinion on it too.

earthwise came out to inspect our water heaters. David was very thorough, explained what he found, and offered solutions. as it turns out, one of our water heaters was 15 years old! to prevent a disaster, we had a new one installed on the same day! We look forward to our continuing relationship with Earthwise through their service agreement.

heads up - a good water heater inspection is much more than looking at the unit for about 30 seconds and announcing it good....as previous companies have done. If you want the job and inspection done right, call Earthwise!
