Recommended Customer Reviews

I wanted to leave a review as I have called Earl's Plumbing several times and I have had nothing but 5 star success from them. One night during the Big Freeze last year an outside faucet pipe broke at about 10:00 pm and Cole came out and got my water shut off. The next day it was fixed perfectly and has worked flawlessly ever since. The next time I called Earl's Plumbing was about a year ago to install some new Delta faucets we were having trouble with and Cole and his crew came out and once again, did a great job, and I have never had a leak. The third time I called out Earl's Plumbing was about 3 months ago to a house we have recently purchased, because my water softener was draining into a line that could not handle the water, which was also near my air conditioners, and water would actually pump out into my air conditioning overflow pans. This had apparently been going on for years, which is why 2 of my 3 A/C drain pans were horribly rusted. Anyway, Cole came out and surveyed the problem, figured it all out, and ran new PEX to another part of my attic which fixed the problem. Cole and his crew have been professional and very kind, along with performing first class work. I will definitely be using them again!

I'm surprised by how many good reviews Earl's Plumbing has on their web page. Hoping to save some future customers the anguish I've had with them. I had hired them a couple of years ago to clean out roots that grow through my clean out line that connects with the city. They were great and I was very happy with their work, Cole and his brother were very professional and friendly.
Last week I hired them again to fix a bathroom sink and shower hot water handle, it's a bath I'm going to remodel soon but had company coming in town so just needed it working. They replaced the sink fixtures for me that I bought and asked if they could just replace the valve under the sink since I would be remodeling and I agreed. Kyle said he was able to repair the original hot water handle on the shower.
They then took a look at my kitchen sink faucet for me after telling them I didn't have much water pressure when using hot water. They couldn't find anything wrong but when going back and looking at the bathtub they said they could still hear water running. Investigating that they said they found a small hole in my hot water line under the house. They got a part that they said would temporarily fix it, took four of them, one working and the other three supervising.
They were going to fix my second bath cold handle faucet but said the part was no longer available for the old brass one I had.
So long story, they were here for 4 hours the first day and came back the second for the patch on the line under the house, that took about 45 minutes.
They all left and sent one guy in to give me the bill. The original bid was $900.00 but he explained that they needed to add an additional $200.00.
The next morning when I woke my entire kitchen floor was soaked from water leaking under the sink, I had never had this problem before.
I started thinking about the $1100.00 I paid and all they did was patch the shower, under the sink, replace the sink faucet and patch the line under the house. Oh, and I bought both guys lunch from Sheps the first day here.
Now I have another problem that I didn't have before! I called Kyle first and told him about the water in my kitchen and he told me it must be something I did?! Seriously!
I called the office and told them how unhappy I was with what I paid for but didn't get but now had a new problem.
Cole called me and said that he would be happy to install a new kitchen faucet for me, even though that one was just put in eight months ago. And that he would install new fixtures in my second bath if I bought those. So, another $350.00 spent at Lowes he came out and while he replaced the bathroom fixtures in the second bath he had another worker replace my kitchen faucet.
I woke early in the morning this last Sunday to find my newly remodeled second bath completely flooded! It was coming from underneath the vanity where the new fixtures had been installed.
I texted Cole and told him what had happened, I don't want any of them back over here. I mean a plumber should know how to install the Delta fixtures they asked that I purchase. Thought he might offer to come fix what he obviously didn't install correctly but all I got was crickets, no response.
Looking to hire another plumber to come out a fix it I was looking for the box and instructions that came with the purchase and realized I don't have them.
Again, I texted Cole and asked that he drop the instructions off when he had time and just drop it in my mailbox. He responded then telling me he would look but everything was left at my house per my request. Not the box and instructions for that bath!
And when they emailed me my invoice, they just give a total. Nothing is described as to the work they did or didn't do,
I don't typically write reviews, good or bad but felt this warranted one. DO NOT hire this company unless you get some type of guarantee.

We contracted Earl's plumbing to pull out an old tub and replace all the plumbing for a new shower install. We provided the shower valve and head and the shower cartridge that fit the valve. The plumber did not install our valve and installed some obscure Delta valve and cartridge. We were upset about that and contacted Earl's to which they just said buy any Delta shower cartridge handle. That was a fail. Then they said we ordered the wrong one and to buy a "newer" Delta shower handle unit. $500 and three Delta shower handles later and none of them fit the cartridge they installed. This could have all been avoided if they had just used the valve/cartridge we supplied that came with a $300 nickel and brass shower kit. Now we are out $800 and much of our sanity in trying to complete the job Earl's started. The plumber also would not respond when asked questions and certainly did not follow directions or meet expectations. I strongly do not recommend Earl's plumbing in the Texas DFW/Weatherford area.
