We live in Metairie near the lake. All most everyone in Metairie, Kenner, and New Orleans near the lake will have plumbing pipe issues at some point, where under slab repairs will need to be done. We knew we had issues, so we finally met with Cheryl and Erika to discuss the beginning to end of having plumbing replaced, with an estimate. They explained what insurance could cover, what we would have to pay for(ex. pipes replaced past the point of claim) and would handle all of the claim portion for us once we contacted the insurance company. We had Earl's come to videotape plumbing, tunneling, and repair everything under the house. All of their employees are professional, polite, and don't do ""shortcuts"", etc. We have also used them for regular plumbing/toilet/water line issues. I will highly recommend them to anyone in the Greater New Orleans area, who want a top job done, correctly, efficiently, and up to code.

When we moved into our new house, we had no heating, no hot water heater, 3 leaky toilets, and a shower that didn't work. Earls plumbing and heating came out and fixed everything for 300 bucks. Some things needed new parts, some things just needed a little persuasion, but it sure was nice to have hot water and a heater and working toilets without replacing any of these expensive items with brand new ones.

Charged me $45 to give me an estimate. Included in the estimate was $400 for bringing my gas vent up to code. They said they couldn't complete the work I called them for unless the vent was up to code. I told them I would consider it and called 2 more plumbers and a general contractor who all said that my gas vent was 100% up to code. They were trying to charge me $400 to change something that would take the average person 15 minutes to do with $30 worth of materials, and it wasn't even necessary. They are either incompetent or dishonest. Either way I wouldn't let them back in to my house.

Best plumbing experience ever! Fixed leaky kitchen sink, cleaned up access dishwasher hose, very friendly and professional! Two guys arrived and had everything fixed within the hour! I will def use them from now on.

Called to get estimate on plumbing job and was told that they could only give estimate when someone became available and they had no time line. Must be nice to have so much business that you cannot schedule estimates for what could have been a large job.
Found it was somewhat frustating to deal with a business who seemed so lackadaisical and uninterested in doing business.
Wow, if you are that busy, then, maybe you should consider hiring!!!!
Anyway, have found a reputable company that scheduled me for this afternoon. Good luck, Earl's, if this is your attitude towards customers, then, you may not be so busy in the future.

They did a great job. Came out and unclogged a water line to my tenants bathroom, also did some work on their toilet. Checked out a leak in my bathroom, found it was due to a roofing issue. Just had the roof re-done last year, so hopefully the roofers will come fix their error.

I will call Earl's next time I need a plumber, Bob did a great job. Thanks!

I had a major sink/disposal/dishwasher issue and contacted Earl's for immediate help since it's been a huge problem not to be able to do any dishes or use the sink. They set up a quick appointment for that week and I set everything up to miss work so I could be there as they only operate during business hours. I cleared my schedule and waited around ALL day SO excited to finally clean up the kitchen...they finally called at 4pm and cancelled! No apology, no offer to come by later, and there's no way I can take any more time off work. Very unprofessional. I will not be using this company again.

When we need plumbing work done at the house, we turn to Earl's Plumbing. With an older house, we need someone who knows their plumbing. The cast iron piping and fixtures present a problem for many plumbers. Usually they are there the day we call, or at worst, the next day.

They helped us figure out the problem with an add-on line that the original owner installed. Unfortunately, there wasn't much they could do about the bellies in the line that had developed over time, short of digging it up and relaying the line. Once a year, usually around the holidays, we have them clean out that line. Just part of the cost of an older home with lots of trees.
