Tye showed up on short notice and did a great job. We would use him again for future plumbing work

We moved into our new, almost perfect home 3 months ago. I say almost perfect because 2 weeks ago my husband noticed something not so great.......
When we moved into the new house one of the things my husband noticed was the silicone peeling where the inside shower tile met the shower Pan (the shower floor). Not wanting any water leaks he re-siliconed the shower pan.
Fast forward to 2 weeks ago. We noticed the new silicone had pulled away again and developed cracks in several places along the pan/tile area. This meant water could now possibly be getting into the floor and wall area.
Confused by what was causing the silicone to break away from the wall, my husband did some research. He discovered that the shower pan was flexing when somebody would stand in the shower. The continued flexing was causing the sealant to breakaway from the wall tiles.
We learned that the pan flexing could be caused by an incorrectly installed shower pan. Where it was not set /installed in the concrete or morter correctly.
As you can see from the photos, the pan is surrounded by tile and a custom glass shower stall and door. This meant we couldn't just take out the shower pan, see how it was installed and re-install it ourselves.
Not knowing what to do, we decided to call a professional.
A quick Google search led me to Eagle Plumbing. I called and explained my problem to them. The office staff was very friendly. They ran my concerns by the owner who told me he would come look at the problem himself.
My appointment window was on February 2nd, between 3 and 5:00 p.m. Ty the owner called at 2 pm to let me know he was on his way, and would arrived a few minutes prior to 3, which he did. * It was nice not having to wait around, all the way to 5pm for the apointment window.
I took Ty to the bathroom and explained the problem. He looked at all the shower details and tested the floor. He confirmed it appeared the shower pan was not entirely install correctly, and the flexing pan was the cause of the splitting sealant.
We talked about options, one of which included the removal of the pan. This would have entailed cutting out and removing the tiling, removing the side shower glass as well as the door. All in order to get to the underside of the pan.
Ty also mentioned, that if we got under the house we might be able to crib up the pan to stop the flex.
Since he was still at the house he offered to go into the crawl space and look at the underside of the shower, see how it was installed, check for leaks, and to see if the bottom was flexing at all.
So Ty went under the house & my husband stood in the shower trying to make it flex.
Ty confirmed, no leaks, and no movement happening underneath. He also let us know the shower pan had a tall lip that went up taller than the tile. He said even with the flexing pan and split sealant there would be no way for it to leak down.
After seeing the underneath set up of the shower Ty recommended a special silicon sealant to my husband and explained to him how to apply it. He said the pan would continue to flex, but that with the new sealant the pan would be good for 10 to 15 years and not to worry.
When Ty was ready to leave I asked him how much we owed him. He said this was a pretty quick visit, it's on the house.
TY could have recommended an entire pan replacement, we would have destroyed our new bathroom, and we would have had a huge bill. All without being the wiser. Instead Ty gave us a completely honest review of our options, complete with a very cost effective DYI fix. And didn't even charge us for the house call!
Eagle plumbing may not have made any money from our family on this visit, but they made a customer for life.
If you are looking for an honest company for your plumbing and heating needs give Eagle Plumbing a call.
**And after finding out we didn't have to spend thousands for the shower fix, the houses back to being perfect.

I have used Eagle Plumbing for two years now for a many different and complicated issues. They have explained clearly what the issue is and they have provided me with a price that I know to be fair. After moving here from the Miami area and finding it tough to trust many persons in the trades, this company really stands out. Reputable, clean, quick, personable, and mostly very caring. I would highly recommend them to all.

Suppose to get a new Furnace today the 1st of Nov 2019 it was scheduled for 12:00 noon...They were a No Show...At 1;30 I called Eagle Plumbing and the Gal in the office said she was sorry and someone should have called me said one of their trucks broke down so they would still get to me today. Low and Behold I receive a phone from another gal that apologized and said she was the one that should have called me back...Ok that's fine...about an hour later I get a phone call saying that the Furnace didn't arrive from California due to the Fires????? So why was I told someone was coming??? Why wasn't I told the furnace didn't arrive until the day of the install??? We are canceling with Eagle Plumbing...Very unprofessional. We have a furnace with Carbon Monoxide leaking...At This point we will go with a higher Priced company to get the Professional People and Installation we deserve!!!!

They've fixed a lot of problems in this house, very well. Installed an upstairs half bath, replace sinks and toilets, and fixed a dishwasher problem.
Then they installed a $5,300 recirculating gas water heater in my basement.
My mother told me if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything. They did finally fix this. But there's more to say.
They came three hours late, put it in, didn't test it properly.
For the last three months, I have lived with this 'bang, bang, bang' every time I turned the hot water on. Sounded like a basketball practice downstairs. Couldn't use the guest bedroom, because if you washed your hands would wake them up.
I thought this might be normal, but really? Spent a lot of time on Google researching. Not supposed to be. But when I finally stopped getting hot water in the kitchen, I called.
Turns out they had not installed the third recirculating loop correctly, so I basically had a 'water hammer' in my basement you could hear upstairs. Two floors away.
It's fixed now. Would I use them again? Only for small issues.

I highly recommend this company. I had a bad leak in my plumbing under my sink with my faucet . I called them and they worked me into their schedule. They also brought out a couple of faucets for me to choose from, and the install was so professional and pleasant. This also is one of the only companies that will service the East County, Maple Falls and Glacier areas .

These guys are my heros! Broken drain pipes under our house makes one big mess! They were out here within an hour and stayed until the job was done (7:30 pm). Kyle and Nate were very professional, knew what they were doing. They left without leaving a mess for me to clean up.
I don't have a clue about rates, but I feel like the amount we paid is well worth it.
I would highly recommend this company! I am now going to enjoy a nice hot shower to try out my brand new pipes. Thanks guys!

I'd give the service a 0 if Yelp allowed. I currently have a underground leak. I know this because I've turned off the water inside our house and the water meter is still running. So I narrowed down for them. The fellow who showed up, Ty, told my wife, ""I'm too lazy to crawl underneath the deck."" I didn't learn that until after he left. I showed up just after that quote. He proceeded to tell me that he'd like to run new lines to the house. All I wanted to know was where the leak was.
As I'm writing this, he called me. He apologized for his quote to my wife and will not charge us the $38.50 service charge. Thanks. You now deserve 1 star.
