Purchased a Trane unit and Eagle HVAC installed it less than 4 years ago. The compressor blew up on a 91 degree Saturday. My wife called assuming someone would be on call at Eagle considering their website indicated Emergencies Only on Sat-Sun, which was a lie. Brittany and Ronnie at Eagle told me and my wife they were closed on weekends. Her messages about me being oxygen dependent was either ignored or wasn't received. Called the office Monday and my wife emailed the owner John Lay after Ronnie confirmed a new compressor was needed. He didn't know when he could get to it or if there was another because he had a busy schedule. Shortly after my wife's email a new compressor suddenly came and was installed the next morning. That new compressor blew up as well. Had to wait 2-5 days and who knows how long before Eagle could install it. Meanwhile John Lay never contacted me about my questions or concerns in trying to get this unit working again. I can stand a little heat but when the humidity is over 90% in my house it's really hard to breathe. By day 7, no compressor and nobody knew when it would be in and scheduled for installation. Got tired of the unknown and being ignored. I certainly don't have time for such nonsense and fired this guy
I DO NOT RECOMMEND EAGLE OR A TRANE UNIT!!!
Hope this helped at least one person.
Purchased a Trane unit from Eagle less than 4 years ago and the compressor has already blew up. Called Eagle on a Saturday when it broke down to inform them I was oxygen dependent and needed some help and no one returned my call despite their website clearly states ""Sat-Sun Emergencies Only "" Still don't have the answer as to what qualifies as an emergency. If my wife wouldn't have emailed the owner John Lay I would have had to get in line and wait. A new compressor suddenly became available and installed which it blew up as well. Waited 2-5 days still no part. Called on the 7th day still no part. Fired John Lay and the Eagle Company the same day.
DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
Haywood W.Eagle is a first class HVAC provider. They were quick to respond to my inquiry. They provided great communication and delivered professional service. I had some concerns in regard to how the original HVAC had been run and how it was underpowered for the house after the previous owners had built on a major addition. They were able to provide three different solutions at three different price points and allowed us to choose which solution was right for us. The TRANE system they suggested is working exceptionally well and the new duct runs they needed to install are keeping our house very comfortable. I highly recommend Eagle for a fair price, top-notch work, excellent communication and a level of professionalism that can be hard to find these days.
