Eagle Eye Detections
Company Overview
Used by plumbing technicians to conduct leak assessments, we are authentic authorities in the area of leak detection and line positioning. With over three decades of expertise, we utilize cutting-edge digital technology, infrared imaging, and moisture sensors.
Our non-destructive methods help you conserve time and funds. Eliminate the need for excessive wall openings and the chaos they create!
Established in 1982, we have served both residential and commercial plumbing needs. Our years in the field give us insight into your plumbing system and possible challenges. We focus on sewer and leak detection. By employing the latest technology available, we ensure precise location identification, minimize damage to your property, and guarantee all our work.
We treat every client like family and every project as if it were our own home! In 1977, my father, a master plumber, got me my first job, and I enrolled in trade school at LATT in 1978.
I received my contractor's license in 1982 and have run a successful family business for many years, caring for my wife, two children, and our employees. In 2005, we implemented some changes.
Now that our kids are independent, it’s just my wife of 30 years and me, so we simplified by founding Eagle Eye Detections, utilizing my vast plumbing experience without the heavy lifting. I leave that to my two grandsons!

A big thank you to Anthony at Eagle Eye Detection! I put a call in early morning and received a call back soon after! Anthony said he was 20 minutes away and asked if I still needed his service! At this point I was so frantic, he gave his reasonable rate and told me that he always finds 98 % of the leaks! He was prompt, very curteous and knowledgeable about his work!! Used every tool he had to find the leak and at last he did! He gave me some advice to tell my plumber and if needed he would speak with him! I couldn't have asked for more!

Had great success with this company. VERY reasonable price, and did a great job. Anthony was great. Recommend him highly.

I had a gas leak at my home and the SoCal Gas Company came to lock up the meter. With the cold weather, I had no heating, no hot water and no cooking. I called the Eagle Eye Leak Detection and Anthony showed up the next day. He was able to pinpoint the leak location and tested the rest of the piping. I was so relieved when the Gas Company rep came back the same day to inspect and turn the service back on. Anthony was very clear in explaining to me what he was going to do and how much it would cost. He was fast and efficient. I will recommend him to my friends in Orange and Los Angeles counties.

We would recommend Anthony to anyone that needs to pinpoint pipe leaks in their homes, especially underneath a slab. Anthony was very professional, knowledgeable and diligent during the time that we had him inspect our home for a leak in one of the water lines. He did a great job in locating the source of our leak, fix the leak by capping a pipe and provided advice on how we could go about re-routing the line with the leak without having to go through our slab.. Thank you so much!

AWFUL......HORRIBLE..... experience - Anthony is incompetent, unprofessional and disrespectful in so many ways! Assumed there was a leak somewhere at our home - our plumber recommended Anthony to perform a leak detection - he came over - was here for less than an hour - charged $365 and said he found two leaks - I showed him an area where I felt there was a significant leak but he dismissed it and then found two very small leaks - one by an outdoor spigot and another from a landscape sprinkler head (tiny dripping) - both super small - not like the big one I pointed out on the side of the house as the cement is all wet. Stated he found two leaks and showed me where they were and then off he went after I paid him - yesterday the plumber came over to fix the two small leaks but still meter is moving so there is another leak - so today (two days later) I call him and say the plumber was here - he fixed the small leaks and there is still a leak here somewhere - and he said well it would be $365 to come out again to take a look - I asked why he didn't warranty his work - he was only here two days ago - he said "" dear, that's not how it works."" Said that twice to me - SUPER CONDESENDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I stated - why would I pay you again when you missed it in the first place - and he again said it would be $365 for another service visit - that's how it works - I said, no thanks - and told him thanks but no thanks - DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NOT CALL THIS GUY - HE IS NOT GOOD AT HIS JOB AND HE DOESNT STAND BEHIND HIS WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want honesty, competence , professionalism, fairness , value, and reliability this is your guy.

Whaaat? First to review?!
OK, here we go.....
Yesterday morning I discovered a puddle in my downstairs hallway leading to a bathroom that has 2 bathrooms above it & a drain under it. Uh oh.
There were wet kitty footprints on the tile near the puddle. I soaked up the moisture with white paper towels & it was clear.
I immediately called my wonderful local plumber, John (R.J. Plumbing). He asked if it could be from my cat. My cat has never gone outside his litter box so I was thinking, not likely. John suggested I give it a day to see if it comes back because it sounded unusual from my description & I could hear no telltale leak sounds coming from under the tile.
Or....I could call a leak detection specialist he recommends.
My experience from this old house (completely re-piped a few years ago) & other old houses in which I've had plumbing leaks taught me not to wait. Find out what's going on, if anything, and quick.
Anthony the Leak Detective was able to come out later the same day, told me he's frequently in South Bay.
He has the best high-tech sophisticated equipment to find any leaks anywhere as well as excessive moisture in walls or under floors. Meaning no cutting walls open, etc.. Read ""About The Business"" on this listing & you'll see what I mean.
Well.
I felt like the CIA was in my house. He tested hot & cold pressure system, drains on both floors, he went into the crawl space, tested the walls & below the floor.....
I was so fascinated with this procedure that I neglected to take any photos!
Before Anthony arrived I had been envisioning guys with jackhammers eventually tearing up my tile floor & God knows what else.
Have you guessed what the problem was?
At the end of Anthony's written report, detailing everything he did, he wrote: Suspect pet.
Yep, the cat peed on the floor. I dunno why it was clear & odorless. Cat must have drank a lot of water the night before.
The silver lining in this cloud of cat pee: I now know the absolute best specialist for detecting leaks.
Anthony knows his stuff. Thank you so much! And I hope I never have to see you again. But never say never cuz these charming old houses keep us on our toes.
BTW the cat slept thru the entire experience yesterday. He has not a care in the world. Today, me neither.
