The guys at E-Z Plumbing are great! My project (Feb/2011) was replacing a lateral sewer line that ran from the house under a cement slab in the garage then under the drive to the road. Percy came out over the weekend at the agreed upon time and got busy inspecting the line. We talked through a few alternative solutions (went with trench-less under the driveway) and he told me he'd email an estimate, which I had later that night. The price was good and in the range of other estimates received. I had a good feeling about working with him. I also decided to enlarge the project by having them do a copper re-pipe of the plumbing and get rid of an old H20 heater and install tank-less, which would include a new gas supply line. He took my changes in stride and sent me a revised estimate. It met my expectations. Percy and his team were there Monday morning to start; arranged for the permits, inspections, did the excavations and new paving/cement; cleaned up when done. They wrapped up the entire project in 4 days. I couldn't argue with that result!!!

I did a whole house copper re-pipe with Percy, including from main line to the house. Job was done on time, his crew showed up in the morning on time, and at the end of the day cleaned up every evening.

Very reasonable pricing on the bid. I had several bids on this project, but wanted to support my local business. The other national companies which advertise on the radio, told me to carefully when choosing a smaller company, because the national company pricing will always be the lowest. They said they are bigger-thus can get the best pricing on supplies-copper piping, fittings, valves, ball stops etc. They even showed me what they would be putting in my house. So when E-Z Plumbing came on the first day to start, I looked at all the parts they would be putting in my house and it was the same brand as the national company.

I am very particular about things, and Percy crew was more than happy to make the adjustment I wanted, including reinstalling a kitchen faucet,to make sure the single arm handle went on the right side instead of the left.

On the main line from the road to the house I talked to Percy during the bid to get a 1 inch line instead of a 3/4 copper line. I forgot to get it in writing on the estimate bid. When Percy crew did the replacement and saw in the contract stating replace water main from meter to house, they put in 3/4 copper line as standard for a house my size. I caught this too late after they had completed the job. When I called Percy to tell him I wanted 1 inch pipe-I was worried that since it was not in the contract he would say we already did the job end of story. But Percy said not a problem will get the 1 inch line in for you, no questions asked.

Percy was easy to get a hold of on his cell phone-day or night and on weekends. His home office crew was also very easy to talk to every time I phoned in during office ours during the day.

Percy showed up an hour late, but when he arrived he was thourough, consultative, respectful of the house, and gave me an estimated #of hours to complete the jobs before he left. The next day, a competitor arrived on time and was equally professional but never followed up with a quote. Today I got a third quote for less than E-Z's but I've never been one to settle for the low bid - especially when it comes to plumbing.

I'm giving the work to E-Z and hope to update this rating to a 5 star next week. Stay tuned....

Update: Percy showed up on time, did the work in the estimated amount of time, cleaned up, and was completely professional. I will call on him again. I'm adding 2 stars.

Absolutely love the re-piping job that Percy and his team did for my 30+ year home. We had the old galvanized steel pipes and I wanted to change them to copper (type L). He gave me a really good price on this project (out of the 3 bids that I got), plus, he also fixed a leaky drain in the master shower and installed a new toilet without charging me extra!

His team was on time, terrific workmanship, and cleaned/hauled away the old pipes and old water heater all within a day.

I highly recommend E-Z Plumbing and will be using them again when it's time to remodel my kitchen.

May have been hasty in my initial posting-- they did the job fine but I had some issues with follow up (which Percy eventually took care of) and cleaning of paint. They do know their plumbing though.
