OK so we had an emergency on Christmas Eve! Our sewer line backed up and and I turned to Yelp to find a plumber.

We called one company and they quoted $175 for the first hour and $125 for every hour after that. WTF?

We quickly hung up and called E-Z Plumbing. I will tell you Percy was our saviour. He came and snaked two clean outs and also scoped the sewer line and found that the city did a faulty repair and we were paying for it.

E-Z Plumbing charged $175 and even provided us with a video tape of the sewer line to prove to the city that they did a crappy job.

E-Z Plumbing is the way to go. Thank you Percy!

Based on yelp reviews, during November 2009, I had E-Z Plumbing replace all of my very old hot and cold plumbing system with copper pipe from the street throughout our Berkeley house (kitchen, laundry room and bathroom) He also installed a tankless water heater (moved from the kitchen to the exterior of the house), garbage disposal, several new hose bibs, a refrigerator ice-maker feed, and he also did the sewer lateral tape and inspection. He and his crew were always on time and cleaned up the old pipe and materials. Subsequent to the new plumbing I had a drain line leak on the kitchen sink and he and one of his crew came to the house at 5pm on a Friday evening and fixed the leak in 45 minutes. His prices are very fair, Percy always quickly responded to phone and email contacts, and in all did an exceptional job.

We hired E-Z to do some repiping and repair work on our house, and found them excellent to deal with. Their price was very reasonable, they came when they said they would, and they were very tidy and efficient in their work. Very nice people, too. Yes, you do usually get voicemail when you call their numbers, but this is because they are a small operation and are at jobsites most of the day. They always get back to you in 24 hours or less, however. I will definitely use them again.

Just bought a house- yea, very stressful- and very expensive. I only use contractors who were recommended to us.

Percy of EZ Plumbing was refered to us. He was on site as scheduled to do a bid. VERY AFFORDABLE. Very Friendly. There is no extra charge for weekend work (good to not have to take a day from work).

Percy and all his staff are respectful. They layed plastic in my entire house and wore slip on's over their shoes to keep my house clean.

Percy set up all permits, and set up the inspection, and was on site with the inspection.

Now, there were a few things that were done that I was confused about - I emailed Percy about them. When he came for the inspection, he made very thing right- to my TOTAL satisfaction.

The inspector had very high comments for their level of work, and how professional, complete and compliant their work was done. That is something you dont hear every day.

I can not recommend Percy, and the Team from EZ plumbing enough. They will be my ""on call guys"" for everything.

I needed a plumber ASAP, so I turned to Yelp. Based on the reviews, I called EZ Plumbing. I also checked out their website. It said they were open 24/7/365.

I called the main office phone and got an answering machine. I called the cell phone number and got voice mail. The cell phone voice mail also provided a third phone number to call for emergencies, so I called that number too. I spoke to a woman who said a plumber was available today, but I needed to call the cell number and leave a message. So I did.

I waited for over 2 hours...no call back to find out what my problem was, schedule me for an appointment, or tell me they were unavailable today.

Who knows...maybe there was an emergency or something. And I hate to be the first to leave a negative comment, but it reflects my experience with EZ Plumbing.

I have had Percy and Victor's help twice now and they are solid. The first time they fixed my drain pipe in the wall for my kitchen sink and the second time they helped me with (my brother's - LOL) water main.

Friendly, clean, very reasonable pricing.

We had a mainline clog on a Sunday. Percy showed up that evening and stayed until the job was complete. They cleaned out the line and even ran a camera down to find out the source which revealed root growth.

After my boys tub got cold mid fill up I knew the hot water heater was on the fritz. I saw their ad on CL then checked Yelp -- great reviews and I have to agree! I had called one of the water heater only type companies and they wanted to charge me at least $500 more than E-Z Plumbing and couldn't come until the next day. These guys came same afternoon and installed my new hot water heater. Very professional and friendly. Highly recommend!

Highly Recommended. It was a small job but Percy returned my phone call in a matter of minutes and came over within about a half hour. He couldn't have been nicer. I would call to use E-Z Plumbing and Percy again for any job large or small again in a heart beat. It was so wonderful to find someone who knows the true meaning of customer service!
