I asked for an estimate on how much it would cost to install a new 240V outlet or change a 120V outlet to 240V. My daughter was home and she said the man, Oscar didn't even look at the outlet, just looked at the stovetop that we're trying to replace and gave us an estimate of how much that would be.

It was quite a big remodeling project: to change one wall of siding and all the windows there and more, to repair a large deck and to paint the entire house that's situated on a hill where very high ladders were needed.

We had a different idea originally to build a new deck. It was technically infeasible but we did not know because a previous contractor led us to believe falsely that it was doable for many years causing us to lose a lot of capital. Instead of trying to get the business with no conscience, the owner of EM PRo did his homework and came back to us and said he couldn't do it. We appreciated his professionalism, candor and honesty.

Once we decided to move forward with a latter plan, we chose E M Pro without hesitation. They provided us with a reasonable quote and timeline. The worker team was very brave, friendly and hardworking. The owner and foreman were knowledgeable in their trade. They did a great job overall. If we were not happy with something, they always come back to fix everything until satisfaction was reached.

The back office team was organized, efficient and responsive. A big selling point and differentiator for this company!

We are so grateful of E M Pro for finishing a project we started in 2018! Highly recommended.

I had to fire this company today. I actually became scared to let them work on my home due to the incompetent way they worked with me. They told me it would be months to pull a permit but the city gave them a permit very fast, way back in December, and they never noticed! I finally called the city myself and let E&M know. They scheduled my work for 2/22 but then realized they never scheduled the city to come out. Due to the holiday they moved me to 2/23 today. They really don't care about the customer. They could have made a single phone call in December and done the work. The office staff does not know what they are doing. Stay away

On Friday, August 27,2021, Alex(Handyman) and another handyman(don't know his name) came to my house to install a new light switch(customer bought the light switch) and a new ceiling light in the kitchen(customer bought new ceiling light). Alex installed the light switch and the other man installed the ceiling light at the same time. They both finished the job within the hour. The business charges by the job not by the hour. I was charged $216.00 to replace a ceiling light. I was charged $252.00 to replace a light switch. E&M Bay Area Construction charges 3% Fee charge if paid by credit card. The amount the business charged for the job is ridiculous. This was a very expensive job. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

I had Oscar and his team do a complete bathroom remodel two years ago. The work was extensive and they did exactly as I asked them to do. It is beautiful.
There were a couple of errors along the way, but Oscar took care of them in a timely fashion.

Oscar and his team were on time and did great work in our garage and fence repair. Our family has been using Oscar for various projects. The one star review believe is totally ridiculous. Maybe next time try calling first instead of throwing a tantrum and writing a negative review
for him being an hour late. SMH

I have been communicating with the company two different people over email as well as text. I went out to home Depot ,purchased the items for installation. I had a 8:00 am appointment this morning March 7, 2020. It is 9:07 and I have not received a text or call. I am cancelling. I cant rate the work but this is unprofessional. There is a saying all thing work together for the good of them who love God. Well....... Next. God show me...

Oscar was on time to give me an estimate on the work I wanted done. I called 4 contractors and he was the only one who was prepared with clip board, paper, pen and a measuring thing.
He listened to me, gave me suggestions, and gave me a price.
Oscar and his crew came on time, did a great job, and cleaned up after the job was complete.
I will continue to use him!
