Was on time....actually early. Quickly found problem and I was relieved that it was a minor problem. Also askedGeorge about my clothes dryer that wasn't working. He said they don't work on dryers. He then looked at it and got it working in just a couple minutes. I feel lucky to have called him.

I called for a repair on a foreclosed home I'm buying. George was rude from the beginning, he kept asking me if I don't own the house how was he going to get paid. Finally, we agreed that I would pay half the work up front and would do the work, he tried to make me pre-pay all of it and I told him I was only comfortable paying half. Fast forward 24 hours the work is done and I'm paying the rest of what I owe, $200.00. George then tells me, ""I'll be going out to cap off your furnace today because you need a new furnace."" I was very confused and asked why he did a $400.00 repair if the furnace was broken beyond repair. He didn't have an answer other than I rushed him to fix my furnace. I asked if he had ever been ""rushed"" to fix a furnace in December in Michigan in 30 degree weather before, and he hung up on me.

Possibly the worst service I have ever experienced.
The Job they performed was costly and lasted less than one(1) year.
I contacted the owner and explained the situation. I called 10 different times and was told George would get back to me. He did NOT.
Go elsewhere if you are looking for quality and reliability.
called Kalkaska Plumbing and they came the next day .
Don't waste your time and money!!!

I'm not sure who has been leaving poor responses however, my experience with Neipoth & Sons has been great. They always respond very quickly and work with your schedule and with what's going on. I really appreciate them and will continue to use their service.

Poor service and way overpriced i was given a date they would show up and they no call no show when they did finally show up all they had to do was install a sink 375.00 to hook up a drain line two water lines (i had the faucet already installed

Called on a Monday to schedule service. Spoke to a nice lady who took my information and asked us to call back on Tuesday before 8am if she didn't get back to me. I called on Tuesday. Spoke to a guy who said, ""Yeah, I'm gonna pass on that.""

I live in a mobile home and he said mobile homes are a pain to work on, so he's going to have to pass.

Unprofessional. Unfriendly. And apparently lazy.

We've used Niepoth since we moved to Bellaire in 2017.
Our first call was when we lost hot water in our shower and needed to repair something within the faucet and my husband was unable to remove the piece. Niepoth sent someone out immediately and had the job done in less than an hour.
The second call was an extremely clogged toilet and it wasn't handled as quickly as we would have liked, but they got the job done and we were very happy with their service.
Third call was about our water softener dying on us. Our landlords purchased a replacement quickly and as soon as the replacement arrived Niepoth was here to install it. They ran into some piping issues but handled it like the pros they are and resolved it quickly by rerouting as needed.
Our fourth call was when our water heaters pilot light went out and we were unable to relight it. We all had a great laugh when we discovered we were just a couple of idiots that don't know how to light a pilot on a water heater.
Just recently the same water heater died and we needed a replacement ASAP. Niepoth called us bright and early Monday morning and had a replacement ordered for us and will be installing immediately.

We have never had any issues with Niepoth or their technician. We feel like we are part of their family and are treated with respect and kindness. They even put up with my stupid questions and desire to watch everything they do, which is not out of fear they will screw it up but because I always want to learn. When they're here I feel like my uncle is in the house working on a project for us. We will definitely be using Niepoth for all of our plumbing needs as long as we call Bellaire home!

Having septic problems suddenly with renters in a unit definitely is a stressed, but Jim and George Niepoth are our heroes! Had some issues, and they got them all fixed immediately and did things to prevent future problems. Even our renters commented on their speed and professionalism! Everyone at Niepoth is great, and I highly recommend them!

I call on a Sunday to request a handicap toilet since my 91 yr old dad just moved in with me, and struggled with the standard height toilet. By Noon on Monday is was installed. Professional, fair, and trust worthy. They are the best. ed b
