Recommended Customer Reviews

Needed EMERGENCY plumbing repair so I called this business because of the reviews and the fact that they are right around the corner from where they were desperately needed. Their website says they offer emergency service and that their hours are 8AM-8PM 7 Days a Week. Called on A Sunday morning at 8:18AM, got an answering service. They took my information and told me they were sending it to the on-call tech. Waited 35 minutes, no return call so I called the answering service back. This person tells me that there is a note stating that a plumber would be dispatched as soon as possible but I would not get a call until the next business day! Confused as to whether or not a plumber was coming, I filled in the contact us information on their website. At 9:34AM I received a call from """"Tammy"""" who tells me that they DO NOT operate 7 Days a week and they DO NOT have on call techs for the weekend but she puts a request out and whoever wants the work will call her back, so she is at their mercy. I asked her if the owner, Brandon Burton, was aware of this incorrect information being on his company's website and she said that he had been made aware but she will bring it to his attention again.

Excellent service! We got appointment the next day. Adam was right on time. Very pleasant! He worked to fix issue for an hour. I was so relieved when he said it wasn't a major problem. He didn't even charge me! I gave him a decent tip. Highly recommend!!

Review for The Original Plumber The technician that came to fix my toilet did an excellent job....however my tankless water heater was leaking and i asked him to tighten it for me. He informed me it had alot of corrosion on it. I told him i had just bought the house so i didnt know, but if he thought it was going to break to just leave it alone. He felt confident he could get it to stop..... now its leaking 10x worse and it has started to leak gas into my home now as well. I have called to see if we could work something out. I was told i would have to buy the piece and pay for replacement. Now i understand that it was already corroded but if he genuinely thought it was gonna break he shouldve left it alone.

For our master bathroom renovation, we wanted to use the tile installer that we had used on other jobs but had to find our own plumber. After checking reviews and getting quotes we were shocked at the prices for a day's work. That is until I called The Original Plumber. Not only did Randall give me a quote that was a fraction of the other quotes, he was honest with how long the job would take (one day versus two or three days). The front office was also great and I was able to coordinate the schedule so that Randall would come out exactly when the tile installer needed him. If you have worked with a contractor, you can appreciate how rare it is for someone to actually appear when they promised but Randall showed up exactly when scheduled. All in all it was a great experience and we have already discussed other jobs for them to complete.

Fernando with The Original Plumber just left my home after solving 2 plumbing issues. He was personable, knowledgeable, and did both jobs in less time than I expected. I originally had inquired on Angie's List for plumbers. After describing my issues online at the AL site, I clicked Next and was provided options for plumbers. Within 15 seconds, I received a call from Todd with Original Plumber saying he could have someone out to my home for a free estimate within an hour. Fernando arrived in less time than that and proceeded to look at the problems and gave me a reasonable estimate. He finished both issues within an hour. Excellent work. Good price. Professional and thorough results that permanently fixed the problems. I'd highly recommend The Original Plumber. I'll use them for future plumbing needs.

Fantastic! Arrived early, was so polite and efficient. He did a quality job with no mess. I highly recommend and will be called them back to replace a commode later on. He was very experienced. Two thumbs up!

Chris was early for appointment to provide on site estimate. Determined cause for bath faucet not having hot water. Quoted price for installation of repair part was reasonable and finished in a couple of hours. Another plumbing company had told me that bath faucet did not have hot water pipe from water heater. Estimate was for several thousands and extensive damage running piping from hot water heater on second floor to bathroom on first floor. I am totally satisfied that I employed The Original Plumber professional, competent, and fair price. What more could I ask for? David G

Fernando is the man! He quoted the job and he also did the work. Highly recommend! Cares about his customer. Goes the extra mile. Made sure it was installed correctly, water lines, gas lines, new expansion tank, new valves. Not only did he do the work like it was art work but he took the time to explain to me what he was doing as he was doing it. AND corrected the placement (even though it made the install a little more difficult) so I could actually see the gas valve and the pilot window. The last install was just slapped in place by a Lowe's sub-contractor and the way it was installed made it next to impossible to re-lite the pilot and see the flame through the window. Hats off to Fernando! Oh and the price quoted is the price I paid, no surprises! I had a quote from Lowe's and the sub-contractor that they sent out to do a site survey (which I had to pay for. """"The Original Plumber"""" did not charge me for the trip to do the estimate) was from My Georgia Plumber which is also called Michael's Plumbing Service which I urge anyone to read their reviews. By the way Lowes was cheaper by few hundred but could not guarantee the estimate that was provided would be the end price and nothing was itemized for the labor piece which gave room to inflate the cost. I decided to use The Original Plumber because of the many outstanding reviews of the company and of Fernando specifically. They will get my business in the future and my extended Family's business too.

Fine, until they are paid. Tree fell during storms, broke septic tank. They did the work they said they would, sent an invoice. Insurance had some questions and needed clarifications on certain things, and could not get any response. I called myself numerous times to no avail. they of course called for payment, and I paid assuming they would follow up with State Farm to clear last invoice, I WAS WRONG. 5 weeks have gone by and State Farm nor I can get in contact with plumber. Doesn't matter what your concerns are, once they are paid they wash their hands of you.

I have to update my experience. After paying too much for a pressure valve the original guys said would fix my leaking toilet problem, I still had to point out the toilet problem. They replaced the flapper and problem I actually called about was fixed. I suspect that was all I needed - not a $389 valve job. My bad for agreeing to it, but overnight my bathroom faucet began leaking like a sieve. I called them back. Botton line, they said they would put in a new faucet. I bought a new Moen and a different guy arrived. He told me the install of a sink faucet would be another $400. I objected, he made a phone call and came to $200. I was getting disturbed at this point, but they agreed to install it. Guy left, I tipped him $20 and then discovered unopened Moen parts on my sink! He'd reinstalled the old drain and stopper and did not install the gasket. He came back days later and installed the new parts. While he was still here I tested the stopper and the thing pulled right out of the sink. WTW? He went back under and fixed it, but if I hadn't tested it, this guy would have had to come back yet again. Overpriced, can't count on a job done right
