Do not do business with Jared Miller in Simi Valley calling himself Dynamite Plumbing. They are not the same company. My apologies to William for posting a bad review on this page.

Bill also does other handyman and construction work. He put an attic access in our ceiling in no time flat, cleaned up after, and even the tenants commented on how great he is. More than reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

We called Dynamite Plumbing based on an ""A"" Angie's List Review.
Unfortunately, they did not do an acceptable job. They bid the job verbally and at the end doubled the price. The job was to replace irrigation pipe connected to the main water line. They removed metal pipe and replaced with cheap PVC (without telling me) and it leaked after two weeks. They came back and fixed it and it leaked again. I had to call another Plumber to do the job correctly, paying twice for the same work. The second Plumber told me that Dynamite Plumbing did not use the correct materials (PVC) for this job and that I was overcharged for what they did. I am a senior citizen and feel I was taken advantage of by this company. I have requested that Dynamite Plumbing reimburse me $500 (half of what they charged me) based on documentation by two reputable Plumbers of what the job should have cost as well as Dynamite Plumbing's poor work quality. Two weeks after my reimbursement request, Dynamite Plumbing is still unresponsive.

Bill, the owner came out quickly and did a quality job cleaning out toilet drain problem. He had hi-tech equipment and discovered the real issue: root damage farther out. We have been using another plumber until now and had been avoiding the real problem but this company is so efficient and affordable that we will be solving this problem at the roots!

I had a catastrophic failure with my water heater at about 6 AM on a Friday. I used Home Advisor to get three quotes. The first company to respond was Dynamite Plumbing at 7:30 AM. They were at my house at 8:20 AM.

Everything Dynamite told me, matched what I already knew about tank & tankless water heaters and the research I did online while I was waiting. So I knew I wasn't being bamboozled.

He offered to replace my 40-gallon tank water heater with a similar one for about $1000, that included everything and they could get it done the same day. Not the lowest price but entirely reasonable.

But then, my wife talked me into getting a high-end tankless water heater. I'm fortunate enough to have three bathrooms. When you have guests, they all want to take showers at the same time. This unit would support that. It would last 20 to 25 years and be more energy-efficient. Normal tank water heaters are good for 7 to 14 years. (Your mileage may vary.)

It was more money, but they got it done in the same day, and my wife was happy.

I purchased my house from a flipper about 10 years ago. The flipper went cheap on a lot of things, and I've had to redo a lot basic things. In my opinion, it's always less expensive in the long run to go with real professionals and buy quality.

I'll be doing business again with Dynamite Plumbing.

Husband discovered there was no hot water in the morning.He called Dynamite Plumbing & their rep came out, we talked about a replacement water heater, their rep Bill picked up the tank-less water heater we wanted and installed it. All done in one day! Bill also took the old water heater etc. with him and was efficient and nice to work with. We highly recommend Dynamite Plumbing.

Bill was great at replacing a water heater on short notice, and for a good price. No complaints about the work he did.

However, it has now been a month, and he has not e-mailed me a receipt for the installation. I have left him numerous voice mails to get the receipt, and no response. I need the receipt for tax purposes.

Had a slow shower drain in a newly remodeled bathroom and Bill reconfigured my shower drain and properly vented the shower and toilet. He was prompt, friendly, and provided excellent professional service. I asked him to look at my broken garbage disposal, and he provided a quick fix from a couple of stones that jammed the unit. Saved me money in not having to buy new one.

They redid our sewer connection a couple of years ago and I called them to ask how much it would cost to put a camera into the sewer, he insisted that it wouldn't cost anything because it's still under warranty. He came and did the job with a smile and good advice.
