After the birth of my second child, my wife and I founded Dynamic Mechanical Heating, Plumbing & Air Conditioning. She oversaw the office, managed advertising, built my initial website, and handled the bookkeeping. Meanwhile, I priced jobs, completed the work, answered calls around the clock, and expanded our customer base. Though it was tough, my background and training with skilled mechanics, combined with my commitment to staying updated on the latest technology and advancements, have provided me with an edge. I was robbed by these guys. My tenant complained the air conditioner unit was not turning on. I called in a service request from these guys and they came a few days later. What they found was that the tenant inadvertently turned the power switch off. The service guy turned it on and then the unit worked. I also requested 4 spare air filters , which they charged $80 for. These are probably the cheapest made filters you can find. So, overall, $350 to turn on the power switch and supply 4 cheap air filters ; my opinion: steer clear of these crooks
Nathan has moved to Vermont where he continues to disappoint customers. He came to look at a job. Said he could do the work within a week and that he would have an estimate in my hands within two days. A week has come and gone and he appears to have fallen off the face of the earth. He has failed to respond to two call and two messages. We are in a pinch and needed reliable help. Now we have lost a week and need to start all over. I don't know how a man can stay in business when he does not even have the common courtesy to call with an explanation.
Mechanic came out to look at my pool heater, told me it was a gas heater and charged me 143.00.
I wouldn't recommend these people unless you like being lied to. My ac was out my first appointment was a wed 2-5. So I took the day off about 6pm I get a call from the tech saying he was stuck in a install wouldn't be able to make it, so fine I get it. So we reschedule for 4 next day, shows up at 6. I'm out doing stuff so my wife takes care of it and calls me saying we need a new unit. $144 bill paid for his diagnosis. ok, can you do it tomorrow? he's says let me check call me in the morning. So I call him, he tells me yes we can do it, I have to move some stuff around so the day goes on I hear nothing from him. so I call him, no can't do it I'm stuck on a job (feeling annoyed) but ok. He says definitely Monday. I call him in the morning because as usual he can't be bothered to call me. He says let me check and 2 hours no answer. (Text him with ???)
So another guy calls me from the company saying he's the installer. so first guy lied was never stuck on install because he doesn't do installs. So this guy says I'm on my way to Hartford to pick the equipment up be there at 10. this is Monday now 12 comes get a call not gonna make it today stuck on a job but I'm wide open tomorrow. Me: blow up and at the end of it guess what your still wide open, I'm done!! Then, icing on the cake,I get a bill in the mail after already paying them for the service call why? I don't know, for a different price. I call them up and she can't figure it out. I give her RO order# chk # after 15 mins on the phone she cancels it but was still confused. (Smh) keep looking unless you like games.
After giving this company multiple jobs, I would think the owner Nate would treat me as a client with more care. I read the reviews it is consistent with other disappointed clients....poor customer service, lack of customer care and disrespectful by not returning multiple calls. I would not recommend this company to anyone given my personal experience.
Broken AC, wasn't coming out cold. Other companies in the area couldn't come out until 1-2 weeks. Dynamic came out the very next day after I called. What a relief! Showed up early and worked quickly.
What a relief to find a company that knows what they are doing. Professional, on time, neat and reasonably priced. Chris and Dan were a great team that had everything needed to replace my boiler the next day. I strongly recommend this company they didn't ""Try"" like others did, they DID the job great. Nice and warm tonight
Ron D.And this keeps getting better...we contacted the CT Dept of Consumer Affairs who opened in investigation and they found out that the tech who serviced our boiler that eventually blew up 6 weeks later was recently (a year or so ago) a Real Estate agent and was not licensed to do any work alone on a residential furnace and may have at most a year of experience. My family's lives were at risk because of this company and the decision they made to send an inexperienced and non-licensed tech. The same Department offered to mediate a settlement to pay for cleaning our home and the owner rejected that so the next update we will give will be the results of the law suit we are in the process of filing.
I too am pleased with the service that Dynamic provided me. The Tech that came was great. He knew what he was doing and wore booties before he stepped into our home. He was very professional. Showed up within 10 minutes of our appointment. Can't complain about the pricing, I thought they were reasonable.
